First, Huang outright dismissed bubble fears, citing rising spot prices (even for older GPUs) and the extreme difficulty of renting them. Meanwhile, although “hyperscalers” like Amazon, Alphabetand Microsofthave already spent hundreds of billions of dollars on AI investments, Huang predicts trillions of dollars are in the pipeline, ready to support the latest and most powerful AI models.
Wall Street analysts appear to be in lockstep with Huang’s predictions. Zacks Consensus Analyst Estimates suggest that NVDA revenue and EPS will each soar by more than 50% in 2026 and continue into 2027.
Nvidia: Blistering Growth at a Reasonable Price
Nvidia shares peaked in October (as of now) and have moved sideways. However, the company’s fundamentals have only become stronger. The result? Nvidia’s valuation metrics, such as its price-to-sales ratio, have retreated dramatically, making the stock attractive to a wider swath of Wall Street institutions, including those that focus on valuations. NVDA, which had a P/S of 200x in 2023, now has a P/S of just ~24x.
AI Will Expand to New Verticals in 2026
Large language models and chatbots like OpenAI’s “ChatGPT” and Alphabet’s “Gemini” provided Wall Street investors with proof of concept for the AI revolution. However, chatbots are merely the tip of the iceberg. Jensen Huang referred to physical AI and robotics as a “once-in-a-generation opportunity.” Meanwhile, TeslaCEO Elon Musk has repeatedly predicted that the company’s upcoming “Optimus” humanoid robot will be its largest product to date and potentially the best-selling product ever. While Musk and Huang’s bold statements may seem unrealistic, fading their opinions has been perilous. Nvidia Inks Deal to Sell Chips to China
Nvidia has received approval to sell its H20 AI chips in China after signing a deal with the U.S. government. This marks a significant development for the company’s growth prospects. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will pay 15% of total revenues from H20 sales in China to the U.S. government. While this revenue-sharing condition may slightly impact margins, the deal opens a valuable door to one of the largest AI markets globally. The AI boom in China, driven by large tech companies like Baidu (BIDU) and government-backed projects, could create steady demand for H20 chips.

That options strategy is focused on just one stock, Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) (formerly known as MicroStrategy). There is an inherent lack of diversification in the exchange-traded fund's (ETF's) approach, leaving it open to deep downturns in Strategy's stock price. While volatility can make it easier to sell options, there's only so much the ETF can do if the price of the single stock it invests around implodes.
2. The dividend isn't reliable
If you can look past the idiosyncratic risk of investing around just one stock, you still need to consider the risk of a variable dividend. Because the size of the dividend is driven by the options trading opportunity present at any given time, the dividend naturally rises and falls over time. Over the past year, the dividend has ranged from $2.37 per share to $0.13.That's a huge range.
If you actually use the dividends your portfolio generates to pay your living expenses, you probably can't afford that much variability. Notably, the variable dividend also means that the dividend yield you see at any given time is ephemeral. The next dividend payment could dramatically alter the number.
3. The value of the ETF has steadily declined
YieldMax MSTR Option Income Strategy ETF's total return since its inception is roughly 90%. However, total return requires dividend reinvestment. If you used the dividends this ETF paid out, you wouldn't have achieved that same result. In fact, the ETF's share price has declined by more than 60% over the same period.

MSTR Drops 50%+: Buy the Dip or Walk Away?

Strategy’s big bet on Bitcoin paid off over the past five and a half years.
It plans to issue more shares and convertible debt to fund its Bitcoin purchases.
Its all-in bet on Bitcoin could either backfire or generate multibagger gains.
Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR), formerly known as MicroStrategy, has become the world's largest corporate holder of Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) over the past five and a half years. It was once a data analytics software company, but its growth stalled out as it faced fierce competition from Microsoft, Salesforce, and other cloud-based rivals.
Instead of investing in its software business to catch up, the company began accumulating Bitcoin in Aug. 2020. Its co-founder and then-CEO, Michael Saylor, who directed that strategic shift, expected Bitcoin's value to soar and overshadow its stagnant software business.

Saylor has been right so far. Bitcoin's price has surged about 670% since its first disclosed purchase, and Strategy's stock has skyrocketed roughly 1,100%. As of this writing, the company has spent $53.9 billion to buy 709,715 Bitcoins, which are currently worth $63.2 billion. That's higher than its current enterprise value of $61.3 billion, so its stock looks undervalued.
In late 2024, Strategy launched a new "21/21" plan to raise $42 billion -- including $21 billion in equity and $21 billion in fixed income securities -- to fund its future Bitcoin purchases. At the time, Saylor also predicted Bitcoin's price would surge to $21 million by 2045. That bold prediction implies Strategy's stock still has significant upside. Let's see how it could generate a ten-bagger gain (or more) if Bitcoin's price surges.
What is Strategy's long-term strategy?
Strategy doesn't plan to shut down its enterprise software business, which has posted annual revenue declines for the past three years. Instead, it intends to use that legacy business to generate recurring revenues and cash to fund its Bitcoin purchases. It doesn't plan to strengthen it through any new R&D or marketing initiatives.
By retaining its software business, Strategy can still issue its own convertible notes and raise capital at lower rates than Bitcoin trusts or exchange-traded funds (ETFs). It also faces less regulatory scrutiny and is eligible for more financing structures than those "pure play" funds. Those advantages arguably make it a more appealing proxy investment in Bitcoin for institutional investors. As long as it keeps reeling in those big fish, it can likely raise more cash through fresh stock and debt offerings.
This strategy won't be sustainable if Bitcoin's price collapses, since most of its Bitcoin purchases are leveraged. At the end of the third quarter of 2025, it shouldered $15.5 billion in total liabilities (including $8.2 billion in long-term debt).
If the market value of its Bitcoin ($63.2 billion) declines by more than 75%, its total liabilities would exceed its total Bitcoin holdings, rendering its balance sheet insolvent. That doesn't mean it will go bankrupt right away, but its equity will turn negative, and it will struggle to raise enough cash to pay off its debt.
However, if Bitcoin's price keeps rising, Strategy can continue to leverage the value of its existing Bitcoin holdings to raise fresh cash to fund more Bitcoin purchases. Therefore, it's an all-in bet on Bitcoin -- and it could generate massive gains if that flywheel keeps spinning.
How could Strategy deliver multibagger gains?
Bitcoin is still mined with the energy-intensive proof-of-work (PoW) consensus mechanism, which requires powerful miners running on application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). It has a finite supply of 21 million tokens, nearly 20 million of which have already been mined, and every four years its mining rewards are cut in half. That scarcity makes it more comparable to gold, silver, and other commodities than other smaller cryptocurrencies.
Saylor, like other Bitcoin maximalists, expects the U.S. dollar and other fiat currencies to collapse as governments expand their monetary policies to address rising debt. As that happens, investors will allocate more of their portfolios toward hard assets like gold and silver. Bitcoin will also benefit from that secular shift if it retains its reputation as "digital gold".
If Bitcoin's price soars 23,500% and hits Saylor's $21 million target by 2045, Strategy's stock would soar more than tenfold. Micron’s latest results came in notably strong, with accelerating demand for its AI services driving the growth. Sales grew more than +50% from the year-ago period to a new record, which impressively follows YoY growth rates of 46% and 36% in its previous two quarters, respectively.
MicroStrategy Buys More Bitcoin
MicroStrategy shares are highly volatile given the deep exposure to Bitcoin, regularly affected by its price swings. Shares have had a rollercoaster journey over the past year, up as high as 15% and down as low as 62%. But insiders don’t mind the volatility, with a director recently swooping in for 5k shares at a total transaction value of nearly $800k.
The company is one of the biggest holders, currently owning roughly 710K BTC after a recent buying spree in January. The average cost of its BTC sits at roughly $76k, which compares to BTC’s current price of roughly $89k.
APG Continues Momentum
APi Group shares have delivered a market-beating performance over the past year, gaining nearly 70% on the back of strong results led by favorable demand trends. A director scooped up 3k APG shares near mid-December at a total transaction cost of just under $120k, nearly doubling the position.
Business momentum was continued nicely throughout APG’s 2025 Q3 period, posting record results and lifting its FY25 outlook. Q3 sales totaled $2.1 billion, up +14.2% year-over-year and up +9.7% organically. Adjusted EPS came in at $0.41, up +20.6% year-over-year. Net income of $93 million was a record, up +34.8% from the same period last year.

The S&P 500 Index ($SPX) (SPY) on Tuesday closed down -2.06%, the Dow Jones Industrials Index ($DOWI) (DIA) closed down -1.76%, and the Nasdaq 100 Index ($IUXX) (QQQ) closed down -2.12%. March E-mini S&P futures (ESH26) fell -2.02%, and March E-mini Nasdaq futures (NQH26) fell -2.10%.
Stock indexes plummeted on Tuesday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 falling to 1-month lows, and the Dow Jones Industrial falling to a 2-week low. Rising geopolitical tensions between the US and Europe over control of Greenland have led to a risk-off mood in asset markets. President Trump’s push to take over Greenland is reviving fears of trade confrontations between the US and its European allies, with little sign of de-escalation. Overnight, President Trump threatened steep tariffs on French champagne after French President Macron ruled out joining a US-led peace initiative. President Trump over the weekend announced a 10% tariff on goods from eight European countries starting February 1, rising to 25% in June, unless there’s a deal for the “purchase of Greenland.”

Rising bond yields also weighed on stocks on Tuesday. The 10-year T-note yield jumped to a 4.75-month high of 4.31% on Tuesday, driven by concern about an independent Fed and negative carryover from soaring Japanese government bond yields. Japan’s 10-year JGB bond yield rose to a 27-year high on Tuesday of 2.359% on Japanese fiscal concerns after Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi promised a temporary sales tax cut on food if she wins a fresh mandate for her new coalition.
The strength of gold and silver mining companies on Tuesday was a positive factor for stocks, as the Greenland crisis prompted safe-haven buying of precious metals and pushed their prices to all-time highs. Also, concerns that Japan's expansionary fiscal policies will lead to soaring deficits are boosting demand for precious metals as a store of value.
US natural gas-producing stocks soared on Tuesday as the price of nat-gas (NGG26) surged more than +26% to a 3-week high.
The market’s focus this week will be on economic news and any fresh tariff developments, the next Fed Chair, and Greenland. On Wednesday, Dec pending home sales are expected to fall -0.5% m/m. On Thursday, initial weekly unemployment claims are expected to climb by +12,000 to 210,000. Also, Q3 GDP is expected to be unrevised at +4.3% (q/q annualized). In addition, Nov personal spending is expected to be up +0.5% m/m, and Nov personal income is expected to rise +0.4% m/m. Finally, the Nov core PCE price index (the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge) is expected to rise by +0.2% m/m and +2.8% y/y. On Friday, the Jan S&P US manufacturing PMI is expected to be up by +0.2 to 52.0. Also, the final University of Michigan Jan US consumer sentiment index is expected to be unrevised at 54.0.
Q4 earnings season begins in earnest this week and, so far, has been a positive factor for stocks, with 88% of the 33 S&P 500 companies that have reported beating expectations. According to Bloomberg Intelligence, S&P earnings growth is expected to climb by +8.4% in Q4. Excluding the Magnificent Seven megacap technology stocks, Q4 earnings are expected to increase by +4.6%.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday did not issue a ruling on challenges to President Trump’s reciprocal tariffs. The court did not say when it will issue its next opinions, meaning it will likely be at least another month before ruling on the tariffs, as the court begins a four-week recess.
The markets are discounting the odds to 5% for a -25 bp rate cut at the FOMC’s next meeting on January 27-28.
Overseas stock markets settled lower on Tuesday. The Euro Stoxx 50 fell to a 2-week low and closed down by -0.57%. China’s Shanghai Composite dropped to a 1.5-week low and closed down by -0.01%. Japan’s Nikkei Stock 225 closed down by -1.11%.
Interest Rates
March 10-year T-notes (ZNH6) on Tuesday closed down by -10.5 ticks. The 10-year T-note yield rose by +7.0 bp to 4.293%. Mar T-notes tumbled to a 5-month low on Tuesday, and the 10-year T-note yield rose to a 4.75-month high of 4.307%. Rising inflation expectations are bearish for T-notes after the 10-year breakeven inflation rate climbed to a 3.25-month high of 2.342% on Tuesday. Also, negative carryover from a surge in global bond yields, triggered by Tuesday's jump in the 10-year Japan bond yield to a 27-year high, of 2.359%, weighed on T-notes. Markets are concerned that if JGB yields continue to rise, Japanese investors, the largest holders of US debt securities, will sell their US assets and move capital back to Japan.
T-notes are also under pressure after President Trump last Friday expressed reluctance to name Keven Hassett as the next Fed Chair and said he would prefer to keep him as National Economic Council director. The markets saw Hassett as the most dovish candidate and the top contender for the Fed Chair nomination, so nominating someone like Kevin Warsh, a known hawk and the second-most-likely Fed Chair candidate, would be bearish for T-note prices.
European government bond yields moved higher on Tuesday. The 10-year German bund yield rose to a 2-week high of 2.894% and finished up +1.9 bp to 2.859%. The 10-year UK gilt yield climbed to a 2-week high of 4.495% and finished up +4.3 bp to 4.458%.
The German Jan ZEW survey expectations of economic growth rose +13.8 to a 4.5-year high of 59.6, stronger than expectations of 50.0.
German Dec PPI fell -2.5% y/y, weaker than expectations of -2.4% y/y and the largest drop in 20 months.
Swaps are discounting a 0% chance of a +25 bp rate hike by the ECB at its next policy meeting on February 5.
US Stock Movers
The Magnificent Seven technology stocks sold off on Tuesday, weighing on the overall market. Nvidia (NVDA) and Tesla (TSLA) closed down more than -4%. Also, Apple (AAPL) and Amazon.com (AMZN) closed down by more than -3%, and Meta Platforms (META) and Alphabet (GOOGL) closed down by more than -2%. In addition, Microsoft (MSFT) closed down more than -1%.
Cryptocurrency-exposed stocks slid on Tuesday, as Bitcoin (^BTCUSD) tumbled more than -3% to a 2-week low. Mara Holdings (MARA) closed down more than -8%, and Strategy (MSTR) closed down more than -7% to lead losers in the Nasdaq 100. Also, Galaxy Digital Holdings (GLXY) closed down by more than -6%, Coinbase Global (COIN) closed down by more than -5%, and Riot Platforms (RIOT) closed down by more than -4%.
Gold and silver mining stocks rallied on Tuesday as gold and silver prices soared to new all-time highs. Hecla Mining (HL) closed up more than +7%, and Newmont Mining (NEM) closed up more than +4%. Also, Barrick Mining (B) closed up more than +2%, and Coeur Mining (CDE) and Freeport McMoRan (FCX) closed up by more than +1%.
US natural gas-producing stocks soared on Tuesday as the price of nat-gas surged more than +26% to a 3-week high. Expand Energy (EXE) closed up more than +4%. Also, Coterra Energy (CTRA), Antero Resources (AR), Range Resources (RRC), CNX Resources (CNX), and EQT Corp (EQT) closed up more than +1%.
Defensive beverage makers rose on Tuesday amid the broader market's plunge. Monster Beverage (MNST) closed up more than +4% to lead gainers in the Nasdaq 100. Also, Constellation Brands (STZ) closed up more than +4%, and Brown Forman Corp (BF.B) and Molson Coors Beverage (TAP) closed up more than +2%. In addition, Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) and Coca-Cola Co (KO) closed up more than +1%.
NetApp (NTAP) closed down more than -9% to lead losers in the S&P 500 after Morgan Stanley downgraded the stock to underweight from equal weight with a price target of $89.
3M Co. (MMM) closed down more than -6% to lead losers in the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrials after forecasting 2026 adjusted EPS of $8.50-$8.70, the midpoint below the consensus of $8.64.
Rockwell Automation (ROK) closed down more than -4% after Oppenheimer downgraded the stock to perform from outperform.
Fastenal (FAST) closed down more than -3% after reporting Q4 net sales of $2.03 billion, below the consensus of $2.04 billion.
AppLovin (APP) closed down by more than 1% after a negative research report from CapitalWatch raised concerns about systemic compliance risks and suspicions of financial crimes.
RAPT Therapeutics (RAPT) closed up more than +62% after GSK Plc agreed to buy the company for about $2.2 billion, or $58 a share.
Albemarle (ALB) closed up by more than +5% after HSBC upgraded the stock to buy from hold with a price target of $200.
Intel (INTC) closed up more than +3% after Seaport Global Securities upgraded the stock to buy from neutral with a price target of $65.
Brinker International (EAT) closed up more than +1% after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock to overweight from equal weight with a price target of $200.

Despite being one of the biggest Bitcoin bulls out there, Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) hasn't been a great buy of late. Last year was disappointing for the leading cryptocurrency, as its value fell by about 5%, but it was a much worse one for Strategy, whose share price plummeted a whopping 48%.
As the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, digital assets play a big role in the company's financials and in determining whether it's profitable. The question is, could now be a great time to consider buying shares of the tech company?

Strategy's stock often follows Bitcoin, but to greater extremes
Although there was a big disconnect between Strategy's stock performance last year and how Bitcoin did, generally, these two assets have been fairly closely correlated during the past five years, as is evident in the chart below.
Strategy went on a monstrous rally in 2024 when it rose 359% (Bitcoin jumped by more than 119%), and so it may not be a surprise that in a weaker year, its performance is also much worse than the digital currency. Investing in Strategy has effectively amplified the volatility that might normally come with investing in Bitcoin. Although the cryptocurrency itself is already volatile to begin with, Strategy has shown to be even more extreme in its price movements in recent years.
As of Jan. 19, Strategy's year-to-date gain is 5.5%, while Bitcoin's is up less than 1% (as of Jan. 20). Yet again, Strategy's returns are more extreme than Bitcoin's. The silver lining here is that if you feel confident in being able to forecast how Bitcoin may do, it may not be a whole lot more challenging to estimate how Strategy's stock will perform.
There's little fundamental reason to invest in Strategy
Investing in Strategy is generally most appropriate for crypto investors who have a high risk tolerance. Although Strategy does generate revenue from its enterprise analytics software, that's not a compelling reason to invest in the business, as the company's revenue has been declining in recent years.
It's the unrealized gains and losses from its digital assets that have a much more dramatic impact on whether the company turns a profit or a loss. In its most recent quarter, Strategy's unrealized gain on digital assets totaled $3.9 billion, eclipsing the $129 million in revenue it posted during the period.
The company's focus is also clear in how it has defined itself, which is as "the world's first Bitcoin treasury company." Strategy's goal remains simply adding to its stockpile of bitcoins. This is why the stock is effectively nothing more than a speculative crypto investment. Although that can be appealing if you're bullish on Bitcoin and are convinced its value will only rise, it inevitably comes with significant risks.
Why investors shouldn't expect a big recovery from Strategy in 2026
How Strategy's stock performs this year will undoubtedly depend on how Bitcoin does. Although the cryptocurrency was doing well out of the gate in 2026, it has since stalled, and things could take a turn for the worse if there are few (if any) rate cuts this year, or if economic conditions worsen. The last time investors were deeply worried about the economy was in 2022, when inflation was problematic, and Bitcoin's value dropped 65%. Shares of Strategy crashed by 74% that year.
Even though Strategy's valuation already took a beating last year, at $50 billion in market cap, this remains an overvalued stock to hold on to, especially given its underwhelming business and lack of any competitive advantage. The stock looks to be a riskier, more volatile version of Bitcoin; you may be better off simply investing in the cryptocurrency itself.

Looking at options trading activity among components of the Russell 3000 index, there is noteworthy activity today in GameStop Corp (Symbol: GME), where a total volume of 128,814 contracts has been traded thus far today, a contract volume which is representative of approximately 12.9 million underlying shares (given that every 1 contract represents 100 underlying shares). That number works out to 254.1% of GME's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 5.1 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $21 strike call option expiring January 23, 2026, with 12,367 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.2 million underlying shares of GME. Strategy Inc (Symbol: MSTR) options are showing a volume of 422,259 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 42.2 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 206.5% of MSTR's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 20.4 million shares. Especially high volume was seen for the $195 strike call option expiring January 23, 2026, with 17,092 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 1.7 million underlying shares of MSTR.
