Fox Corporation operates as a news, sports, and entertainment company in the United States (U.S.). The company operates through four segments: Cable Network Programming, Television, Credible, and The FOX Studio Lot. The Cable Network Programming segment produces and licenses news and sports content for distribution through traditional cable television systems, direct broadcast satellite operators and telecommunication companies, virtual multi-channel video programming distributors, and other digital platforms primarily in the U.S. Television segment produces, acquires, markets, and distributes programming through the FOX broadcast network, advertising supported video-on-demand service Tubi, and operates power broadcast television stations including duopolies and other digital platform; and produces content for third parties. The Credible segment engages in the consumer finance marketplace. The FOX Studio Lot segment provides television and film production services along with office space, studio operation services and includes all operations of the facility. The company was incorporated in 2018 and is headquartered in New York, New York.

New Strong Buy Stocks for December 12th

A strong stock as of late has been Fox Corporation (FOX). Shares have been marching higher, with the stock up 2.4% over the past month. The stock hit a new 52-week high of $61.26 in the previous session. Fox has gained 33.1% since the start of the year compared to the 2% gain for the Zacks Consumer Discretionary sector and the 19.8% return for the Zacks Broadcast Radio and Television industry.
What's Driving the Outperformance?
The stock has an impressive record of positive earnings surprises, as it hasn't missed our earnings consensus estimate in any of the last four quarters. In its last earnings report on October 30, 2025, Fox reported EPS of $1.51 versus consensus estimate of $1.06.
For the current fiscal year, Fox is expected to post earnings of $4.46 per share on $15.99 in revenues. This represents a -6.69% change in EPS on a -1.93% change in revenues. For the next fiscal year, the company is expected to earn $5.02 per share on $16.55 in revenues. This represents a year-over-year change of 12.56% and 3.55%, respectively.

Total advertising revenues increased 6% to $1.41 billion, driven by FOX News' premium pricing and National Football League ratings averaging 22 million viewers. Upcoming Super Bowl LIX and FIFA Men's World Cup provide major advertising catalysts for FOXA. With $4.4 billion in cash and $1.5 billion in share repurchases, FOXA maintains financial flexibility despite escalating sports programming costs and streaming competition.
FOXA has an expected revenue and earnings growth rate of -1.3% and -7.7%, respectively, for the current year (ending June 2026). The Zacks Consensus Estimate for current-year earnings has improved 5% in the last 30 days.
Roku Inc.
Zacks Rank #1 Roku delivered robust third-quarter 2025 results, with earnings and revenues surpassing estimates. ROKU achieved positive operating income for the first time since 2021. Platform revenues grew 17% year over year, driven by streaming services distribution and video advertising.
