Fox Corporation (FOX) has been on a downward spiral lately with significant selling pressure. After declining 20.3% over the past four weeks, the stock looks well positioned for a trend reversal as it is now in oversold territory and there is strong agreement among Wall Street analysts that the company will report better earnings than they predicted earlier.
We use Relative Strength Index (RSI), one of the most commonly used technical indicators, for spotting whether a stock is oversold. This is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and change of price movements.
RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Usually, a stock is considered oversold when its RSI reading falls below 30.
Technically, every stock oscillates between being overbought and oversold irrespective of the quality of their fundamentals. And the beauty of RSI is that it helps you quickly and easily check if a stock's price is reaching a point of reversal.
So, by this measure, if a stock has gotten too far below its fair value just because of unwarranted selling pressure, investors may start looking for entry opportunities in the stock for benefiting from the inevitable rebound.
However, like every investing tool, RSI has its limitations, and should not be used alone for making an investment decision.
Why FOX Could Bounce Back Before Long
The heavy selling of FOX shares appears to be in the process of exhausting itself, as indicated by its RSI reading of 24.78. So, the trend for the stock could reverse soon for reaching the old equilibrium of supply and demand.

Down 20.3% in 4 Weeks, Here's Why Fox (FOX) Looks Ripe for a Turnaround

Investors in Fox Corp (Symbol: FOX) saw new options become available this week, for the October 16th expiration. One of the key inputs that goes into the price an option buyer is willing to pay, is the time value, so with 238 days until expiration the newly available contracts represent a possible opportunity for sellers of puts or calls to achieve a higher premium than would be available for the contracts with a closer expiration. At Stock Options Channel, our YieldBoost formula has looked up and down the FOX options chain for the new October 16th contracts and identified one put and one call contract of particular interest.
The put contract at the $45.00 strike price has a current bid of 70 cents. If an investor was to sell-to-open that put contract, they are committing to purchase the stock at $45.00, but will also collect the premium, putting the cost basis of the shares at $44.30 (before broker commissions). To an investor already interested in purchasing shares of FOX, that could represent an attractive alternative to paying $51.47/share today.

Keurig Dr Pepper announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.23 per share, payable in U.S. dollars, on the Company's common stock. The regular quarterly dividend will be paid on April 10, 2026 to shareholders of record on March 27, 2026.
Bank of America today announced the Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend on Bank of America common stock of $0.28 per share, payable on March 27, 2026 to shareholders of record as of March 6, 2026.
Stryker announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.88 per share payable April 30, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 31, 2026, representing an increase of 4.8% versus the prior year and unchanged from the previous quarter.
The 3M Board of Directors today declared a dividend on the company's common stock of $0.78 per share for the first quarter of 2026. The dividend is payable March 12, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Feb. 13, 2026. 3M has paid dividends to its shareholders without interruption for more than 100 years.

Fox Corporation (FOX) Q2 Earnings and Revenues Beat Estimates

(RTTNews) - Fox Corporation (FOXA) on Wednesday reported net income attributable to stockholders of $229 million, or $0.52 per share, for the second quarter, compared with $373 million, or $0.81 per share, in the prior-year quarter.
Adjusted net income attributable to stockholders was $360 million, or $0.82 per share, compared with $442 million, or $0.96 per share, a year earlier.
Quarterly revenue rose 2% to $5.18 billion from the prior-year period.
The company has declared a dividend of $0.28 per Class A and Class B share, payable on March 25 to shareholders of record on March 4, 2026.
Fox Corporation shares fell 3.22% on Tuesday to close at $63.18.
