Warren Buffett has never paid much attention to what Wall Street analysts think. Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.A) (NYSE: BRK.B) doesn't even hold a quarterly call with analysts. I doubt that Buffett's perspective will change during his remaining few months as Berkshire's CEO.
However, analysts hold favorable views of quite a few stocks in Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway portfolio. Here are the three Buffett stocks Wall Street thinks will soar the most over the next 12 months.

1. Charter Communications
Buffett only has a tiny stake in telecommunications company Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR). It made up less than 1% of Berkshire's portfolio at the end of the second quarter of 2025. The legendary investor (or one of his two investment managers) also seems to have soured on Charter. Berkshire slashed its position in the stock by 46.5% in Q2.
That move looks smart in retrospect. Charter's share price plunged after a disappointing Q2 update in July. The telecom provider's earnings fell well below analysts' estimates.
However, Wall Street seems to remain bullish about Charter. The average 12-month price target for the stock reflects an upside potential of over 40%.
Granted, not everyone on Wall Street is upbeat about Charter. Of the 22 analysts surveyed by S&P Global (NYSE: SPGI) in October, only 10 rated the stock as a "buy." Eight analysts recommended holding Charter, while the other four analysts gave the stock an "underperform" or "sell" rating.
2. Jefferies Financial Group
Jefferies Financial Group (NYSE: JEF) is an even smaller holding than Charter for Buffett. Berkshire's position in this financial stock totals only $23 million, which amounts to pocket change for the giant conglomerate.
Like Charter, Jefferies has been a loser for Buffett so far in 2025. The stock has taken investors on a rollercoaster ride that's currently on a downswing. However, Jefferies' share price has jumped more than 80% since the end of the third quarter of 2022, when Buffett initially bought the stock.
What does Wall Street think about this Buffett stock? It depends on how you look at things. On one hand, only one of the five analysts surveyed by S&P Global this month rated Jefferies as a "buy." Three analysts recommended holding the stock, with one rating it as a "sell."
On the other hand, the average 12-month price target for Jefferies is more than 30% above its current share price. The most bullish analyst projects that the stock could soar more than 60% over the next 12 months.
3. Constellation Brands
Buffett has been a net seller of stocks for 11 consecutive quarters. However, he liked Constellation Brands (NYSE: STZ) enough to initiate a new position in the fourth quarter of 2024 and add more shares in the first and second quarters of 2025. Today, Berkshire owns 7.6% of the premium beer, wine, and spirits company.
How has Buffett's bet on Constellation Brands paid off so far? Not great. The stock has plunged more than 30% year to date. Steep tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on aluminum imports have significantly hurt Constellation.
But Wall Street remains supportive of this beaten-down alcoholic beverage stock. Fifteen of the 25 analysts surveyed by S&P Global in October rated Constellation Brands as a "buy" or "strong buy." Eight analysts recommended holding the stock, with two analysts recommending selling shares.
The consensus 12-month price target for Constellation Brands reflects an upside potential of more than 20%. One especially positive analyst expects the stock could jump more than 50% over the next year.
The best pick of these three Buffett stocks
I don't know if any of these three Buffett stocks will rise as much as Wall Street's price targets indicate they will over the next 12 months. However, I think one of these stocks could be the best long-term pick of the bunch -- Constellation Brands.
Tariffs on aluminum are certainly problematic for Constellation. The company should be able to successfully weather the storm, though. Constellation's Corona, Modelo, and Pacifico brands are among the strongest in the beer industry. I don't look for that to change.
This stock trades at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 12, which should appeal to value investors. Its dividend yield of roughly 2.9% could attract interest from income investors. Constellation Brands probably won't be an ideal choice for growth investors. But if Wall Street is right that the stock will soar more than 20% over the next 12 months, Constellation could outperform quite a few growth stocks.

First Week of CHTR November 21st Options Trading

Looking at the sectors faring best as of midday Wednesday, shares of Services companies are outperforming other sectors, up 0.8%. Within that group, Charter Communications Inc (Symbol: CHTR) and Fox Corp (Symbol: FOXA) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 4.3% and 3.8%, respectively. Among the largest ETFs, one ETF closely following services stocks is the iShares U.S. Consumer Services ETF (Symbol: IYC), which is flat on the day on the day, and up 10.42% year-to-date. Charter Communications Inc, meanwhile, is down 20.52% year-to-date, and Fox Corp is up 23.92% year-to-date. FOXA makes up approximately 0.2% of the underlying holdings of IYC.
The next best performing sector is the Financial sector, higher by 0.8%. Among large Financial stocks, Crown Castle Inc (Symbol: CCI) and US Bancorp (Symbol: USB) are the most notable, showing a gain of 2.6% and 2.4%, respectively. One ETF closely tracking Financial stocks is the Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF), which is up 0.8% in midday trading, and up 12.49% on a year-to-date basis. Uber Technologies UBER has had a remarkable run so far this year, with its shares hitting a new 52-week high of $98.86 yesterday, Sept. 15. Shares of UBER have gained in double digits so far this year despite the tariff-related uncertainty.

Uber’s AV Ambitions Bode Well: Uber’s efforts to gain a stronghold in the evolving but highly lucrative autonomous ride-sharing market are highly impressive. Uber’s dominant market share in the ride-hailing industry gives it a unique advantage in the AV space. With its vast network of drivers and customers, Uber can quickly scale autonomous services once the technology matures. Its app is designed to integrate AVs from multiple partners, giving users a variety of options.
Uber, headquartered in San Francisco, CA, has multiple AV-related partnerships. By adopting this partnership-driven approach, Uber has avoided the massive R&D costs associated with developing autonomous systems independently. With the future of mobility being autonomous, UBER is one stock that seems to be hitting the right notes.
Strong Financials & Robust Share Buyback: Uber is well-positioned to weather short-term challenges, with $8.6 billion in cash and equivalents at the second-quarter 2025-end. The company’s current ratio (a measure of liquidity) is above 1. Uber reported a free cash flow of $2.5 billion in the second quarter of 2025, up 44% year over year, highlighting its financial bliss. In August, Uber announced a stock repurchase authorization of up to an additional $20 billion of common stock. With this bold initiative, UBER is not only enhancing shareholder value but also signaling confidence in its ongoing business strategy.
The latest shareholder-friendly announcement by Uber is in addition to the $7 billion authorization announced in 2024. We remind investors that the $7 billion share repurchase authorization was the first such program in the company's history. The accelerated $1.5 billion stock buyback program, a part of the $7 billion program, was completed in the first quarter of 2025.
Commendable Expansion Efforts: Even though Uber’s primary business is ridesharing, it has diversified into food delivery and freight over time. Diversification is imperative for big companies to reduce risks, and UBER has excelled in this area. The company has engaged in numerous acquisitions, geographic and product diversifications, and innovations. Uber’s endeavors to expand into international markets are commendable and provide it with the benefits of geographical diversification. Prudent investments enable Uber to extend services and solidify its comprehensive offerings.
Healthy Gross Booking Growth: Uber is benefiting from upbeat gross bookings. The company’s gross bookings, for both the mobility and delivery segments, are increasing at healthy double-digit rates. This highlights the strong demand for its services. In the June quarter, gross bookings from the mobility segment increased 18% year over year on a constant-currency basis to $23.7 billion. Gross bookings from the delivery segment rose 20% year over year on a constant-currency basis to $21.7 billion.
For the third quarter of 2025, the company expects total gross bookings of $48.25 billion to $49.75 billion, indicating year-over-year growth of 17-21% on a constant-currency basis. The outlook assumes a neutral to modestly positive foreign exchange impact. Our estimate is currently pegged at $48.3 billion.
Some Concerns That Cannot Be Ignored
Uber’s elevated debt position is concerning. UBER had a total debt-to-total capital ratio of 0.3 as of June 30, 2025, higher than the industry’s reading of 0.06. Rival Lyft’s debt levels are even more elevated.
Moreover, Uber shares are expensive. The stock is overvalued compared to its industry. It is currently trading at a price-to-earnings multiple of 29.76, higher than the industry average of 23.73. Its Value Score of D suggests that the stock is anything but cheap and indicates a stretched valuation at this moment. Lyft shares are even more expensive.

Uber’s earnings estimate revisions are not impressive, highlighting further concerns. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for current-quarter and next year earnings has been revised downward over the past 60 days. For the next quarter, there has been no upward revision over the past 60 days. The upward revision for current-year earnings has been marginal over the same time period.

Here's How to Play UBER Stock Now
Uber is seeing rising demand across its ridesharing and delivery platforms. This growing popularity, combined with new growth initiatives and a strong focus on cost discipline, is helping drive solid business performance.
Uber’s inclusion in the coveted S&P 100 index on Sept. 22, before the market opens, is a further positive. UBER will replace Charter Communications CHTR in the S&P 100 index. Charter Communications will, however, remain in the S&P 500. The change ensures that the index is more representative of its market capitalization range. UBER’s market capitalization is currently $200 billion, way above Charter Communications’ $36 billion.
With Uber having a lot working in its favor, investors holding UBER shares should continue to do so to benefit from the solid long-term fundamentals. However, new investors can wait for a better entry point, considering the premium valuation, unimpressive earnings estimate revisions, and its debt levels that are higher than the industry. UBER Stock Hits New 52-Week High: Buy Now or Wait for a Pullback?

Investors in Charter Communications Inc (Symbol: CHTR) saw new options begin trading today, for the October 31st expiration. At Stock Options Channel, our YieldBoost formula has looked up and down the CHTR options chain for the new October 31st contracts and identified one put and one call contract of particular interest.
The put contract at the $260.00 strike price has a current bid of $15.10. If an investor was to sell-to-open that put contract, they are committing to purchase the stock at $260.00, but will also collect the premium, putting the cost basis of the shares at $244.90 (before broker commissions). To an investor already interested in purchasing shares of CHTR, that could represent an attractive alternative to paying $263.42/share today.

Interesting CHTR Put And Call Options For October 31st

Uber Technologies UBER recently received encouraging tidings when it was announced that the U.S. ride-hailing giant will join the coveted S&P 100 index on Sept. 22, before the market opens, as part of the quarterly rebalance.
The S&P 100, a subset of the S&P 500, is designed to track the performance of large-cap companies in the United States. It comprises 100 leading blue-chip companies across a broad range of industry groups. UBER will replace Charter Communications CHTR in the S&P 100 index.
Charter Communications will, however, remain in the S&P 500. The change ensures that the index is more representative of its market capitalization range. UBER’s market capitalization is currently $189.8 billion, way above Charter Communications’ $35.8 billion.
To be included in the S&P 100, a company must not have liquidity concerns and demonstrate solid financial health. UBER has no concerns in that respect, having exited the second quarter of 2025 with cash and cash equivalents (including short-term investments and restricted cash and cash equivalents) of $8.6 billion and no near-term debts. UBER exited the second quarter of 2025 with a current ratio (a measure of liquidity) of 1.11.
Apart from dominating North America’s ride-sharing market, UBER has excelled on the diversification front. To expand its retail reach, UBER recently inked deals with retailers, Dollar Tree DLTR and Dollar General DG. The deal with Dollar Tree was in line with its efforts to expand service offerings, particularly in suburban and rural America. This has enhanced UBER’s retail delivery capabilities by adding nearly 9,000 stores to the Uber Eats platform. Uber Eats is the online food ordering and delivery platform of Uber.
The tie-up with Dollar General ensured that its more than 14,000 locations arrived on the Uber Eats platform. Following the association with Dollar General, customers can use the Uber Eats app to order food, beverages and other essentials.
