Nevertheless, headwinds loom large for Wall Street's historic rally. While inflation and the Iran war are dominating headlines, perhaps the greatest risk to the stock market has to do with its otherworldly valuation.
The stock market is close to eclipsing its priciest valuation over 155 years
To state the obvious, there isn't a one-size-fits-all guide to evaluating and valuing public companies or the broader market. The subjectivity that comes with valuing stocks and the broader market is one of the primary reasons short-term moves are so challenging to predict accurately.
Most investors tend to rely on the time-tested price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio as their preferred valuation tool. The P/E ratio is calculated by dividing a company's share price by its trailing 12-month earnings per share (EPS). While it's a great tool for quickly evaluating mature businesses, it has its shortcomings with growth stocks and during recessions, when EPS can turn negative.
This is where the S&P 500's Shiller P/E Ratio, also known as the Cyclically Adjusted P/E Ratio (CAPE Ratio), can be incredibly useful. The Shiller P/E is based on average inflation-adjusted EPS from the previous 10 years, meaning recessions won't render it useless. It's the perfect valuation tool to cut through the emotions and subjectivity that can skew valuation analyses.
Though the CAPE Ratio was introduced in the late 1980s, it's been back-tested to January 1871. Over the last 155 years, it's averaged a relatively modest multiple of 17.38.

Recently, the S&P 500's Shiller P/E Ratio peaked at 42.84. That's the second-highest multiple since 1871, surpassed only by the all-time high of 44.19 in December 1999, just a few months before the dot-com bubble burst.
Historically, CAPE Ratios above 30 have foreshadowed significant downturns on Wall Street. Although this valuation tool can't pinpoint when the proverbial music will stop, readings above 30 have all eventually (keyword!) been followed by declines of at least 20% in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, and/or Nasdaq Composite. In other words, premium stock valuations aren't well-tolerated on Wall Street.
Even Wall Street professionals can't ignore how far above historic norms stock valuations currently are. On June 5, Bank of America Securities' Savita Subramanian noted that the S&P 500 was "statistically expensive on 17 of 20 metrics," and pointed out that approximately 70% of the bear market signals Bank of America Securities follows have been triggered. Subramanian and her team of strategists cautioned that the time to take profits has arrived.
Historical precedent is undefeated on Wall Street since 1871. It's simply a matter of time before a majority of investors come to this realization.
Terrifying valuation news comes with a silver lining for patient investors
The prospect of a 20% (or considerably larger) decline in one or more of Wall Street's major indexes is probably unnerving to most investors. Most of us aren't fans of steep red arrows in our portfolios. However, some of Wall Street's greatest investment opportunities occur during periods of panic and disappointment.
Stock market corrections, bear markets, and crashes are normal and often emotion-driven events. This means fiscal and monetary policy shifts can't stop the occasional downturn on Wall Street. But investors' perspectives can change everything.
Every year, analysts at Crestmont Research refresh a data set that calculates the rolling 20-year total return (including dividends) of the S&P 500, dating back to 1900. Even though the S&P 500 wasn't incepted until 1923, researchers were able to piece together its total returns by tracking the performance of its components in other major indexes since 1900. This yielded 107 rolling 20-year periods of total return data.
Crestmont Research found that all 107 timelines generated a positive annualized total return. If you, hypothetically, purchased an S&P 500-tracking index at any point between 1900 and 2006 and held it for 20 years, you would have made money every time. Regardless of whether the stock market navigated recessions, depressions, wars, pandemics, and so on, it always moved higher over rolling 20-year periods, including dividends.

Additionally, a recent analysis from Bespoke Investment Group uncovered just how wide the disparity is between bull and bear markets on Wall Street.
Bespoke's researchers examined every S&P 500 bull and bear market since the start of the Great Depression in September 1929. Of the 27 bear markets analyzed, the average duration was just 286 calendar days (about 9.5 months), with none exceeding 630 calendar days.
On the other hand, the typical S&P 500 bull market has lasted 1,023 calendar days (nearly 3.6 times as long as the average bear market). Further, 10 of 27 bull markets have endured at least 1,324 calendar days.
Although history doesn't always offer the rosiest short-term forecast, it's unequivocally the biggest ally of long-term investors.

The Stock Market Is on the Brink of Doing Something That Hasn't Been Observed Since 1871 -- and Even Wall Street Analysts Are Worried

After more than tripling in 2026, the stock already reflects a lot of optimism.
Most analyst rating changes move a single notch. So when one of the more closely followed semiconductor analysts skips the middle rating and jumps two rungs at once, it's worth a closer look -- not necessarily as a reason to buy, but as a window into how the thinking around artificial intelligence (AI) spending may be changing.
That's what happened on June 11, when Bank of America's Vivek Arya double-upgraded Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) to buy from underperform, lifting his price target to $135 from $96. Banks tend to reserve a move like that for moments when the thesis they had been betting against breaks. And it came after Intel had already more than tripled in 2026 -- less a call on a forgotten stock than a bet that the turnaround has further to run.

Intel shares rose about 6% in the following session, closing near $125 as of this writing.
The more useful question isn't whether the target is right. It's what the upgrade says about the next phase of the AI trade.
The case for the CPU
For most of the AI boom, the story has been about graphics processing units (GPUs) -- the chips that train large models. Central processors, Intel's historical stronghold, were an afterthought. The upgrade rests on the idea that this is starting to change.
The argument goes like this: as companies build "agentic" systems in which software agents carry out tasks independently, incremental work shifts to the central processors to coordinate those agents.
If that shift plays out, the market for server processors will get much bigger. Indeed, Bank of America now pegs the market at more than $170 billion by 2030, up from a prior estimate of around $125 billion, and sees Intel capturing roughly a quarter of it.
Intel's own recent numbers lend the idea some support.
In the first quarter of 2026 (the period ended March 28, 2026), the company's data center and AI revenue rose 22% year over year to about $5.1 billion -- easily the fastest-growing of its three main segments, well ahead of the 1% growth in its client computing group, which sells PC chips.
And management is describing the central processor in much the same terms.
"In recent months, we have seen clear signs that the CPU is reasserting itself as the indispensable foundation of the AI era," said Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan in the company's first-quarterearnings call
A risky foundry business
The second part of the upgrade is about manufacturing.
Intel is trying to become a more formidable contract chipmaker, producing chips for others the way Taiwan Semiconductor does -- a business it calls its foundry. This, however, is the higher-risk, higher-reward part of the story. Bank of America pointed to a pipeline of potential outside customers, including reported work on Apple's chips and MediaTek's processors. If even a few of those deals scale, the foundry could grow from a rounding error into a real second engine.
But Intel isn't there yet. Intel's external foundry revenue -- the part that comes from outside customers rather than its own products -- was just $174 million in the first quarter. And the foundry segment as a whole is still losing billions of dollars a year as Intel spends heavily to build out advanced manufacturing. And closing the gap with Taiwan Semiconductor is something Intel has tried and stumbled at before.
Then there's the price. Intel trades at well over 100 times its expected earnings for the next year. A valuation like this leaves little room for error, assuming both the agentic-processor shift and the foundry turnaround unfold with very few blips along the way.
So, what do I make of all this?
The rotation Bank of America is describing looks real and underappreciated -- the idea that AI's next phase pulls spending back toward the processors and manufacturing capacity Intel is built around. But a compelling thesis and an attractive entry price are different things. After more than tripling this year, the stock has arguably already priced in much of that optimism, and the bar it now has to clear is far higher than it was a few months ago. I'd want to see Intel's foundry business make more meaningful progress on its pipeline before treating the stock as a buy here. Sure, the shift may be coming. But the stock apparently isn't waiting around for proof.

The agentic AI era approaches
Analysts at Bank of America expect the global server central processing unit (CPU) market to grow almost fivefold to over $170 billion by 2030, driven by a forthcoming boom in agentic AI applications.
While AI model training largely relies on graphics processing units (GPUs) designed by the likes of Nvidia, CPUs perform well during certain segments of AI agent workflows, such as control logic, plan execution, coordination, and scheduling.
Intel and AMD dominate the server CPU market, making them well-positioned to profit from this global megatrend. Yet Arm also stands to benefit. The chip architecture developer recently unveiled its new AGI CPU, which is specifically designed to power next-gen AI infrastructure.
More ways for investors to profit
Bank of America's analysts are also optimistic about Intel's foundry business. In addition to designing and building its own chips, Intel has opened its chip manufacturing services to other tech giants. Intel is reportedly in discussions with Apple to potentially make some of the chips in its popular devices.
Meanwhile, analysts at Citigroup believe AMD could wrestle away some market share from Nvidia in the GPU arena, driven in part by its chip supply deals with social media and AI powerhouse Meta Platforms.

There's been a resurgence in the popularity of stock splits in recent years, driven by rising corporate profits and surging stock prices. It was common practice in the late 1990s, but fell out of fashion before enjoying a renaissance. This is historically a sign of a company performing at a high level, as evidenced by years, or even decades, of strong operating and financial results, which have driven the stock price out of reach for everyday investors.
Historically, these top-performing stocks continue to outpace their peers. History shows that companies that conduct stock splits generate stock price increases of 25%, on average, in the year following the announcement, compared with average gains of 12% for the S&P 500, according to data compiled by BofA analyst Jared Woodard.

Let's look at one recent stock split that still has plenty of upside ahead, according to Wall Street.
AI in its DNA
Artificial intelligence (AI) has been all the rage in recent years, but CrowdStrike Holdings (NASDAQ: CRWD) has built a cybersecurity empire that leveraged AI before it was fashionable. The company's Falcon platform offers the most sophisticated threat protection available, infused with its Charlotte AI, which was designed for the world of generative and agentic AI.
The need for its services has never been greater. The global average cost of a data breach last year was $4.44 million, according to a report by IBM, and the threat worsens with every passing year. The abilities of AI to find exploits take that problem to the next level.
CrowdStrike has long been a trailblazer in the cybersecurity industry. It was recognized as a Leader in Gartner's 2026 Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection for the seventh consecutive year. Perhaps as importantly, the company was chosen as a Leader in Gartner's inaugural 2026 Magic Quadrant for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies, cited for its "completeness of vision" and "ability to execute."
The company's results are compelling. For its fiscal 2027 first quarter (ended April 30), CrowdStrike reported revenue that climbed 26% year over year to $1.39 billion, driven higher by record annual recurring revenue (ARR) that grew 24% to $5.5 billion. This drove adjusted earnings per share (EPS) up 51% to $1.10.
Wall Street is bullish about CrowdStrike's future. Of the 54 analysts who offered an opinion in June, 78% rate it a buy or strong buy. Furthermore, Wall Street's average price target on the stock is about $712, implying additional upside of 10% compared to Wednesday's closing price.
However, one analyst is much more bullish. Rosenblatt Securities analyst Catharine Trebnick has a price target of $825 -- the highest among her Wall Street peers -- suggesting CrowdStrike stock could climb as much as 27% from its current price (as of market close on Wednesday). The analyst called CrowdStrike's Q1 financial report "outstanding." She goes on to say that the "intersection of frontier AI models and cybersecurity has positioned the Falcon platform as critical AI infrastructure."
Her thinking is on point. When AI start-up Anthropic unveiled its Claude Mythos Preview, the frontier AI model revealed "thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities, including some in every major operating system and web browser" that hackers could use to gain access to critical systems. Anthropic formed a coalition to address these exploits, and CrowdStrike was one of just two cybersecurity companies invited to participate.
CrowdStrike's valuation is enough to make value investors cringe, so it likely won't be a fit for everyone. The stock is currently selling for 111 times forward earnings -- which is pricey to be sure. However, CrowdStrike has soared 362% over the past three years, more than five times the 71% return of the S&P 500, which underlines why it's worthy of a premium valuation.

The chip segment, generally, and AMD specifically, were given a lift by a bullish new analysis from an analyst at an influential bank. With that, AMD's stock surged by 8% on the day.
Tops of its class
Before market open, Vivek Arya of Bank of America Securities published a note on the current state of the global chip market. According to reports, he raised his estimate of the total addressable market for server central processing units (CPUs) in 2030. The new projection is $170 billion, well up from his previous $125 billion.

Unsurprisingly, much of Arya's bullishness stems from the powerful emergence of agentic artificial intelligence (AI). In the analyst's view, this is a massive catalyst for makers of different types of CPUs. He's estimating a 37% compound annual growth rate from 2025 to 2030.
Arya also flagged AMD as his bank's top stock pick in the CPU space. He cited its long-term market position and the upcoming launch of its next-generation server processors (code-named Venice) as the two main factors in this choice. With this, he raised his price target on the stock to $560 from $500.
AI for the win
Any stock or sector has a ceiling, of course, but it's hard to see one just now for the modern chip industry. AI-fueled demand has significantly boosted the values of the better chippies, and it's showing little sign of cooling down anytime soon.
I think AMD is a fine play on this dynamic. Yes, it trades at high valuations, and it recently experienced a multi-session price dip largely because of that. However, the stock's quick, sharp bounce-back following Arya's move demonstrates its resiliency and value. I believe it has much more room to run as an investment.

Chewy (NYSE: CHWY) stock has been stumbling since the company reported its fiscal first-quarter 2026 earnings on June 10. Chewy reported gains in revenue, earnings per share, and net margin, but the stock still slipped after guidance projected a challenging sales environment.
Then Chewy continued its fall today following a series of analyst downgrades, losing another 5%. The fall is the latest in a series of declines in Chewy stock, which is now down 43% this year and 84% off its all-time highs set during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Considering Chewy is seeing increased sales and improved margins, are investors overreacting to the guidance? Let's take a closer look at what's happening.
About Chewy stock
Chewy, based in Florida, is an online pet retailer that sells food, toys, treats, supplements, and other supplies. The business caters to the estimated 56.3 million U.S. households that own dogs and 43.1 million that own cats, providing a large base of potential customers.
But shares have been falling consistently over the last year, sinking 58.1% in the last 12 months versus a 21% gain in the benchmark S&P 500. And the drop is not industrywide: Petco Health & Wellness (NASDAQ: WOOF), another pet retailer with both brick-and-mortar and online sales, gained 4% in the same period.
Despite the sell-off, Chewy stock trades at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 12.5, which is only slightly below Petco's 13.1 multiple.
Chewy's earnings were good, but the guidance was not
Quarterly net sales for the period ending May 3 were $3.36 billion, up 7.7% from a year ago. Net income was $94.8 million, up from $62.4 million, and the company's net margin increased 80 basis points to 2.8%. Earnings were $0.43 per share, up from $0.35 per share
CEO Sumit Singh said the company was confident in its ability to gain market share and deliver more growth, but he raised red flags when speaking to analysts about challenges facing the U.S. consumer.
"Pet remains a resilient category, driven by recurring nondiscretionary needs and strong emotional attachment," he said. "At the same time, consumers are growing more discerning, driven in part by elevated fuel prices and broader macroeconomic pressures."
The company's updated guidance, he said, reflects "a more appropriately conservative view of the consumer environment and broader category growth assumptions for the balance of the year."
The company is now projecting full-year sales of $13.4 billion to $13.55 billion, representing growth of 6.3% to 7.5%. But it is projecting that customer additions will be toward the lower end of its previously stated range of 150,000 to 250,000.
What are analysts saying about Chewy stock?
Several analysts have lowered their projections for the company since Chewy's fiscal Q1 report. Morgan Stanley dropped its price target from $43 to $42, citing the weak macroeconomic environment. Bank of America maintained a "Buy" rating, but cut its price target from $33 to $31. Piper Sandler kept its "Overweight" rating, but cut its price target from $48 to $30. And MoffettNathanson downgraded the stock from a "Buy" to "Neutral," saying it can no longer maintain a bullish thesis on Chewy.
Is Chewy stock a buy?
Chewy is growing its revenue base and market share, planning to operate 60 veterinary clinics by the end of the year, and using artificial intelligence to generate cost savings estimated at at least $50 million by next year. Those are all reasons why Chewy should not be overlooked.
But at the same time, management is acknowledging that customer acquisitions will be at the low end of its forecast, and that growing inflation and the possibility of higher interest rates will continue to pinch household budgets of potential customers. I am sitting on the sidelines for Chewy stock and don't expect a significant turnaround any time soon.

Is Chewy Inc a Buy After Its Latest Earnings Report?

Bank of America’s BAC planned launch of a cross-border real-time payments solution next quarter is expected to support fee revenues over time by giving corporate and commercial clients a faster, more transparent way to move money across countries. By offering instant payments through Swift and CashPro, BAC can reduce delays and uncertainty in global transactions, encouraging more clients to route cross-border payment activity through the bank.
The opportunity is meaningful because BAC is targeting high-volume payment areas, such as remittances, gig-worker payouts and e-commerce marketplace payments. While these transactions are often smaller in value, they occur frequently. As volumes increase, transaction-related fees can build into a steady recurring revenue stream, making the product attractive from a long-term revenue perspective.
The launch is also expected to help BAC deepen relationships with corporate and institutional clients. Companies using CashPro for real-time global payments may also turn to the bank for treasury, cash-management, foreign-exchange and working-capital services. This will likely create cross-selling opportunities and improve client stickiness.
Features such as real-time tracking, full principal delivery and local-currency settlement will improve client experience. Businesses want certainty around when money is sent, when it arrives and how much the receiver gets. By reducing delays and improving transparency, BAC can make its payments platform more valuable.
Overall, as demand for faster and more reliable cross-border payments grows, the launch is expected to help Bank of America capture a larger share of global payment flows and gradually strengthen its fee-based revenue stream.
How Are BAC’s Peers Competing in This Space?
Global transaction banking peers such as JPMorgan JPM and Citigroup C are also investing in faster cross-border payment capabilities.
JPMorgan is strengthening its real-time cross-border payments capabilities through its blockchain-based Kinexys Digital Payments platform, which enables institutional clients to move deposits with JPMorgan instantly, including across borders and outside normal banking hours.
By supporting 24/7/365 payments, real-time transaction visibility, liquidity movement and offshore USD clearing, Kinexys positions JPMorgan as a leading large-bank competitor in tokenized payments and real-time treasury solutions.
Citigroup, conversely, is advancing its real-time cross-border payments capabilities by integrating Citi Token Services with its 24/7 USD Clearing platform. The solution enables institutional clients to move funds near-instantly across Citigroup and non-Citigroup accounts, initially in the U.K. and the United States, with plans to expand to more markets.

BAC Plans to Launch Real-Time Global Payments: A Fee Revenue Catalyst?

The countdown commences. SpaceX is going public as soon as tomorrow, and it's likely to be the most hyped initial public offering (IPO) of all time. The rocket company has captured the imaginations and enthusiasm of investors worldwide. One investor that won't likely be boarding the rocket ship anytime soon is the famed Oracle of Omaha, Warren Buffett.
Buffett not boarding
SpaceX plans to offer its stock at $135 per share, valuing it at $1.77 trillion. That stratospheric price likely sent shivers down the 95-year-old's spine. Let's talk about how the world's greatest investor might view this unique public offering.

The famed investor and former chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRKA) (NYSE: BRKB) is equally known for his ability to pick winning companies as for knowing when to stay away. While SpaceX has captured the imagination of investors globally, the company's financials are what truly matter. They are the core reason Buffett almost certainly will sit this one out.
Not your typical prospectus
Buffett's first rule of investing is to only buy companies that you understand. With SpaceX, we are dealing with literal rocket science, but with an interesting Elon Musk-esque twist. First, SpaceX comes with many subsidiaries, ranging from internet satellite constellations to electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, and a social media platform. The true mission of SpaceX is becoming cloudier and more convoluted, and that's a warning flag for investors.
For example, in the S-1 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, several strange statements suggest SpaceX may be trying to be something well beyond a rocket company. The S-1 mentions the "light of consciousness" and multiplanetary living. The prospectus includes several images as well. It's eerily reminiscent of the infamous WeWork prospectus.
It's also worth noting that Elon Musk has made himself essentially irreplaceable in this IPO. He will remain the company's CEO, chief technology officer, and chairman. If the company struggles or Musk becomes distracted by other projects, the risk for investors is heightened.
Finally, Warren Buffett won't invest in the IPO because of the financials. SpaceX is an extremely expensive science experiment. The company says it may never become profitable. Although this is a risk for any start-up, it's concerning for a company that's aiming for a $1.77 trillion valuation.
SpaceX generated $18.7 billion in revenue in 2025, up from $14 billion in 2024. The losses have accelerated much more quickly, though. According to the S-1 filing, SpaceX had net income of $791 million in 2024, but last year it plummeted to a $4.9 billion net loss.
The $1.77 trillion valuation didn't make much sense to Morningstar either. Its analysts value SpaceX at $780 billion, less than half of the valuation Musk and SpaceX are pushing for.
Buffett tries to pay fair prices for good companies. At $135 per share at the IPO, there is no planet in the galaxy where this fits that bill. In addition to being a capital-intensive business, SpaceX has stiff competition and a limited competitive moat. Yes, it leads in the launch category now, but competitors are on its heels. Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB) and Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin are formidable opponents.
Here's what Buffett would do instead
If you are bullish on the space industry as a whole, there is some justification for participating in the IPO. However, the inflated price and valuation will require a very long holding period for it to make sense. Far too much of the future revenue and growth is already baked into the IPO price. For everyday investors, it's easy to get caught up in the hype and excitement of an enormous IPO from one of the most charismatic business leaders in the world.
Elon Musk does know how to execute and bring a vision to life, but I'd rather wait for the price per share to come back down to Earth. There are other ways to gain exposure to SpaceX without taking on extreme volatility and risk. By purchasing shares in highly profitable companies such as Alphabet, which invested nearly $1 billion in SpaceX, you can share in the upside while remaining more protected. Financial institutions such as Bank of America also invested in SpaceX early on.
This is an approach Buffett might prefer to participating in the IPO directly. Buffett sees companies for what they are and never let short-term noise cloud his decisions. Until SpaceX's financials make sense, you probably won't see Buffett touching the shares.

Warren Buffett Would Never Buy the SpaceX IPO. Here's What He'd Do Instead.

The space exploration, satellite internet, and AI company led by Elon Musk is expected to raise $75 billion in its public offering at a valuation of $1.75 trillion. The company has already set the listing price at $135 a share, bypassing the traditional price discovery process that helps ensure initial investors are paying a fair price.

The offering is receiving an unusual level of support from big banks, as JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America have held events to sell the stock to both high-net-worth individuals and retail investors, and JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon even hosted one such event.
So what will happen to SpaceX once it enters the public markets? Let's evaluate some of the near-term catalysts facing the stock.
What to expect when SpaceX goes public
SpaceX is going public at a time when the market is trading at a historically high valuation. The CAPE ratio is the second-highest it's been in history, now approaching dot-com levels, and a convulsion in the market since last Friday's jobs report has already sent tech stocks plunging.
SpaceX itself is also being valued at an astronomical ratio, trading at a price-to-sales ratio of roughly 100, higher than any S&P 500 stock or any company of a similar size at the time of its public offering. Meanwhile, SpaceX's revenue growth is also slowing, rising just 15% in the first quarter to $4.7 billion, and it's reporting wide losses following its merger with xAI.
Those factors are all likely to put downward pressure on the stock once it begins trading.
The bull case, meanwhile, is more based on the long-term prospects for the company, which aims to colonize space, among other goals like launching orbital data centers. SpaceX said it had an addressable market, based on future growth, of more than $27 trillion, nearly the entire current GDP of the U.S. Bulls like Ron Baron have said the company could reach a valuation of as much as $30 trillion in the next 10 to 20 years.
SpaceX's valuation is based on the chance that it could achieve a mass-market breakthrough innovation that would deliver meaningful profits, rather than its current financial results.
Where SpaceX will be after a month
High-profile IPOs are often busts shortly after they go public, especially if they go public at a high valuation. Typically, the hype wears off after they begin trading and the stock pulls back. Three months after it had gone public, Meta Platforms, then Facebook, was down by roughly 50% three months after it went public.
Similarly, Uber was down by roughly a third three months after it went public in May 2019, and it continued to drift lower from there.
By forcing the $135/share price on investors, SpaceX is also further setting the stock up for failure, as investors have no say in that price. The last time the company raised money from investors in early 2023, SpaceX was valued at $137 billion, a fraction of what it is aiming for in the IPO.
At some point in July, I think SpaceX will fall as low as $75 a share, which would wipe off 44% from the IPO price, though that would still leave it with a market cap of nearly $1 trillion and a price-to-sales valuation of 60, as rich as almost any other stock on the market.
The combination of weakening financials, a sky-high valuation, its decision to set the offering price without input from investors, and signs of cracks in the broader bull market all point to a potentially steep decline for SpaceX when it goes public.
Whether the company will be successful in the long term will depend on its technological innovations, but even SpaceX bulls will likely get a better entry point by staying on the sidelines.
