L3Harris Technologies, Inc. LHX recently revealed that it has secured a deal from the Space Development Agency (“SDA”) to develop 18 infrared satellites for the Tranche 3 Tracking Layer. Valued at up to $843 million, the deal also covers ground software, operations and sustainment functions.

(RTTNews) - Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) has issued a letter of intent to L3Harris Technologies (LHX) for an order of 40 Zeus 1 and 20 Zeus 2 hypersonic motors. The Zeus 1 and Zeus 2 are high-performance, 32.5-inch diameter solid rocket motors providing substantial performance improvements over similar legacy rockets.
"This strategic purchase of Zeus hypersonic rocket motors is a direct reflection and result of Kratos long-standing approach: investing our own capital to build capability, capacity, and inventory ahead of customer need," said Eric DeMarco, President and CEO of Kratos.

L3Harris Wins Contract to Produce Propulsion Units for GMLRS

L3Harris Technologies LHX plans to boost its large SRM manufacturing capacity six times with the addition of more than 20 facilities. The company's Camden, AR, site is still expanding to satisfy the country's increasing SRM production needs.
Northrop Grumman NOC is rapidly scaling production and has delivered more than 1.3 million SRMs, providing the Department of Defense, NASA, and allies with reliable propulsion for missile defense, space launches and scientific missions.

How Is Kratos Defense Benefiting From Surging SRM Demand?

(RTTNews) - L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (LHX), Wednesday announced that the company has secured a follow-on production contract valued up to $200 million to manufacture Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System Insensitive Munition propulsion units.
The contract highlights the company's expertise in missile propulsion technology and its commitment to delivering high-performance, reliable propulsion solutions for military operations.
Notably, the contract marks the largest GMLRS IM contract L3Harris has received from Lockheed Martin for a 12-month period of performance.
Currently, LHX is trading at $281.97, up 1.66 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
