The board of directors of Dominion Energy has declared a quarterly dividend of 66.75 cents per share of common stock. Merck, known as MSD outside of the United States and Canada, announced today that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.85 per share of the company's common stock for the fourth quarter of 2026. Payment will be made on October 7, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 15, 2026.
Cintas announced that the Company's Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.52 per share of common stock payable on September 15, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 14, 2026. Cintas has a strong record of returning capital to its shareholders and has consistently raised its dividend each year since Cintas' initial public offering 43 years ago in 1983.
Linde announced its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $1.60 per share. The dividend is payable on September 17, 2026, to shareholders of record on September 3, 2026.
Kenvue today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.21 per share on its common stock, which represents a 1.2 percent increase compared to the prior quarterly dividend. The quarterly dividend is payable on August 26, 2026, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on August 12, 2026.

(RTTNews) - Kenvue Inc. (KVUE) announced that the FDA has approved TYLENOL with Naproxen, the first and only over the counter fixed dose combination of acetaminophen (650 mg) and naproxen sodium (220 mg) for pain relief.
This new formulation combines the fast-acting relief of acetaminophen with the long-lasting anti-inflammatory effect of naproxen sodium, beginning to work in under 30 minutes and providing up to 12 hours of relief in a single dose. The approval addresses a critical gap in pain management, as surveys show that three out of four persistent pain sufferers are dissatisfied with current options.
The FDA decision is supported by eight clinical studies demonstrating superior pain relief compared to acetaminophen or naproxen sodium alone. TYLENOL with Naproxen has been granted three years of exclusivity, underscoring its significance in expanding non-opioid pain relief choices.
Company executives emphasized that the product simplifies pain management by eliminating the need to coordinate multiple medications.
Dr. Rajesh Mishra, Chief Medical Officer, Kenvue, noted that the combination offers "fast onset, 12-hour duration, and the safety profile of two well-established non-opioid ingredients in one fixed-dose."
TYLENOL with Naproxen will be available soon at major U.S. retailers nationwide. KVUE has traded between $14.02 and $22.87 over the past year. The stock closed Friday's trading at $19.28, up 2.01%.

A strategic shift toward higher-margin products
Kimberly-Clark stock is up about 11% year to date (with dividends reinvested), but its total returns are down about 10% over the past 12 months. Its long-term returns aren't great either, as it averaged a drop of 1% over the past five years and a total rise of only 1% over the past decade.
Its main utility for investors has been to provide excellent dividend income, and some downside protection when markets go south. But some recent developments could position the company to generate some decent returns.
Earlier this month, Kimberly-Clark struck a deal with pulp supplier Suzano (NYSE: SUZ) to form a new paper products company, Arbex. This benefits Kimberly-Clark by offloading its lower-margin paper-towel and tissue business, allowing it to focus on its higher-margin personal-care products. Kimberly-Clark also has a licensing agreement with Arbex to license its paper brands, so that will generate some licensing royalties.
A greater focus on absorbing its Kenvue acquisition
More importantly, it frees up resources for Kimberly-Clark to integrate its pending acquisition of Kenvue (NYSE: KVUE).
Kenvue, which makes skincare products like Aveeno and consumer health products like Band-Aid, Tylenol, and Listerine (to name just a few), spun off from Johnson & Johnson in 2023. Kimberly-Clark sees it as a complementary fit, creating a global health and wellness leader, and expects the combination to maximize each company's strengths and accelerate growth.
Kimberly-Clark anticipates approximately $1.9 billion in cost synergies and roughly $500 million in profit from revenue synergies, within three to four years of the deal closing. It also expects to spend about $2.5 billion to realize these benefits in the first two years.
Long live the Dividend King
Analysts are generally bullish on the acquisition, with several raising their price targets for the stock in recent weeks. They have a median price target of $113 per share, suggesting 5% upside. Shares are also cheap, trading at 14 times earnings.
I think Kimberly-Clark is a buy for its dividend alone. But investors may also see the added benefit of solid long-term returns following the major shift from this 154-year-old company.

A household name
You might know J&J best for consumer products that you regularly use, from Band-Aid brand bandages to Tylenol. They've made J&J a household name. But the company actually spun off its consumer health business, which includes these products, as Kenvue a few years ago. This was in an effort to boost growth, with the idea of dedicating all of its resources to the higher-growth areas of pharmaceuticals and medtech.
The Kenvue spinoff came at a key moment, as J&J prepared to lose exclusivity of its blockbuster immunology drug Stelara. At its peak in 2024, Stelara brought in more than $10 billion. But the impending entry of rivals meant that Stelara sales would drop drastically.
J&J's move was a wise one, and the latest quarter illustrates this. Solid performance from immunology drug Tremfya and leading multiple myeloma drug Darzalex compensated for Stelara declines and drove more than 6% growth to $25 billion in total revenue -- keeping J&J on track to reach its goal of $100 billion in annual revenue. Darzalex revenue jumped 18% to more than $4.2 billion in the quarter, while Tremfya soared 72% to $2 billion.
A recent headwind
J&J faced one headwind in particular in the quarter. The medtech division saw some weakness -- in an interview with CNBC, chief financial officer Joseph Wolk said sales of Abiomed heart pumps slipped after the release of a study questioning the use of Impella pumps during some high-risk procedures. Wolk said J&J plans to release data in the first half of next year that should alleviate concerns. It's important to remember that the company has 28 products or platforms that bring in revenue of at least $1 billion, offering it the fuel needed for ongoing growth.
J&J increased its full-year sales guidance to $101.1 billion at the midpoint from the previous estimate of $100.8. And it boosted adjusted earnings per share guidance to $11.68 at the midpoint from $11.55.
Should you buy J&J?
Now, let's return to our question: Is it too late to buy shares of this healthcare giant after its strong run so far this year?
Today, J&J isn't dirt cheap. In fact, it's trading close to its highest in relation to forward earnings estimates.
It's possible that, given this valuation level, the stock may dip in the weeks or months to come, offering investors a better buying opportunity. Value investors, for example, probably should wait before jumping to get in on J&J stock at this level.

In the first quarter, Ken Griffin increased his position in J&J by 146% and now holds 1,930,976 shares. The stock, at 0.08% of the portfolio, isn't a huge position -- but its presence there since 2017 suggests Griffin recognizes J&J as a key long-term winner.
Now, let's talk about why this stock is such a great holding for risk-averse investors. First, it's important to consider the Kenvue spinoff. Though J&J may have become a household name thanks to its consumer products, consumer health actually wasn't a huge growth driver for the company. Pharmaceuticals -- known as the innovative medicine business -- and medtech offered greater growth potential, so J&J wanted to devote more resources to these units.
The bet has already proven to be a smart one, as revenue has climbed in recent quarters. The latest one is the perfect example. Innovative medicine sales jumped 11%, while medtech sales advanced more than 7%. And overall worldwide sales increased nearly 10% to more than $24 billion.
28 billion-dollar platforms
One element that makes J&J a low-risk stock is the fact that this growth isn't driven by a product or two. The pharma giant has 28 platforms or products that bring in at least $1 billion annually. And J&J is on track to increase this number. The more blockbusters a company has, the less vulnerable it is when a particular product loses exclusivity.
J&J has proven its ability to overcome such challenges. The company's immunology blockbuster Stelara saw the impact of this last year, yet J&J's other top drugs compensated, and the company even said its performance placed the loss of exclusivity "in the rearview mirror." In spite of a 41% drop in Stelara sales, total sales advanced 6% last year.
So, investors can count on a solid portfolio of products delivering growth at J&J. It's also important to note that medical treatments are essentials, so even during difficult economic times, sales of these types of products generally hold up well.
Now here's the second major element that makes J&J the ideal stock for cautious investors. The company is a Dividend King, meaning it's increased these payments to shareholders for more than 50 consecutive years. This shows a true commitment to dividend growth. That, along with J&J's huge level of free cash flow, supports the idea of an increasing dividend over the years to come.

History says SpaceX stock could fall much further in the coming months
Since 1980, the average IPO stock has gained about 19% on the first trading day, according to Jay Ritter, professor emeritus of finance and director of the IPO initiative at the University of Florida. SpaceX fit that pattern perfectly. Shares closed at $161 on June 12, representing 19% upside from the IPO price of $135.
However, excitement surrounding IPOs tends to fade quickly, and companies that go public at large market values have historically performed poorly during the first year. The following chart lists the 15 largest U.S. IPO stocks (by market value at the IPO price) excluding SpaceX; for each stock, it shows (1) the one-year return and (2) the maximum drawdown in the first year relative to the IPO price.

Among the 15 largest U.S. IPOs, the average stock traded 2% below its IPO price after a year, but it dropped 23% from its IPO price at some point during the first year. Past results are never a guarantee of future returns, but we can use those numbers to make an educated guess about what SpaceX stock might do in the future.
If SpaceX's performance matches the historical average, the stock will trade near $132 per share (2% below its IPO price) by June 2027. That implies 11% downside from the current share price of $149. In that scenario, $20,000 invested in SpaceX today would be worth about $17,800 by June 2027.
But history also says SpaceX will drop 23% from its IPO price at some point in the first year. That would bring the stock to $104 per share, which implies 30% downside from the current price. In that scenario, $20,000 invested in SpaceX today would be worth about $14,000 at some point in the next year.
SpaceX shares available for public trading will increase sharply once lockups start expiring
SpaceX issued 555 million shares for its initial public offering, bringing the total number of shares outstanding to 13.1 billion. That means less than 5% of SpaceX stock is currently available for public trading, while the other 95% (held by employees and insiders) is subject to various lock-up periods.
Those lock-up periods start expiring in a few weeks. In late July or early August, following the company's second-quarter financial report, at least 20% of early release shares (about 911 million shares) will become eligible for public trading. That means the float will more than double to reach 1.5 billion shares.
However, lockup expirations don't stop there. Another 7% of early release shares (about 320 million shares) will become eligible for public trading at 70 days, 90 days, 105 days, 120 days, and 135 days post-IPO. That means the float will double again, reaching at least 3 billion shares by late October.

As of market close on July 7, the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) and Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC) are up 9.6% and 11.1% year to date (YTD), respectively, and hovering around all-time highs. The tech sector -- which makes up 38% of the index -- is largely responsible for the strong gains because it is up 24.5% YTD.
However, some noteworthy value stocks are doing even better than the tech-heavy S&P 500. Kimberly-Clark (NASDAQ: KMB) is up 13.7% YTD, and that's without even factoring in two $1.28 per share dividend payments. Earlier this year, Kimberly-Clark raised its dividend for the 54th consecutive year, retaining its spot on the list of Dividend Kings, which have at least 50 consecutive years of dividend increases.

Here's why Kimberly-Clark remains a great dividend stock to buy for the second half of the year.
1. Kimberly-Clark is recession-resistant
Kimberly-Clark has a portfolio of leading household and personal care brands, many of which are paper-based. Its crown jewel is Huggies, which is the No. 2 diaper brand in the world behind Pampers. Other notable brands include Kleenex, Kotex, Scott, and Cottonelle.
Demand for these products tends to be consistent across economic cycles, though Kimberly-Clark's margins have been under pressure due to rising costs and inflationary pressures on consumer spending. In Kimberly-Clark's first-quarter 2026 earnings call, it forecasted $150 million to $170 million in additional costs if oil remained around $100 per barrel. Oil prices have come down significantly since that late Aprilearnings call but the months when oil was elevated will affect its full-year margins.
However, Kimberly-Clark is implementing productivity initiatives, new pricing with suppliers, and hedging programs to improve margins. Kimberly-Clark's chief financial officer, Nelson Urdaneta, said the following on the Q1 2026earnings call
I'd also remind everyone that we've got a solid track record over the last four years of recovering any input cost inflation and actually expanding margins. If you look at 2023 through 2025, we expanded both gross margins and operating profit margins beyond the levels pre-pandemic. So we're confident in our ability to cover all these input costs over time.
Kimberly-Clark isn't immune to consumer spending trends or macroeconomic factors, but it has done a good job adjusting to the new normal of cost inflation.
2. A major acquisition is right around the corner
In November 2025, Kimberly-Clark announced the acquisition of Kenvue (NYSE: KVUE). The consumer health company spun off from Johnson & Johnson in August 2023 and owns many noteworthy brands, including Aveeno, Neutrogena, Tylenol, Listerine, Johnson's, and BAND-AID.
Since then, Kimberly-Clark and Kenvue shareholders have overwhelmingly approved the acquisition, and Kimberly-Clark has moved forward with key organizational and leadership decisions.
The deal will diversify Kimberly-Clark's revenue streams and enhance its resilience in a recession. Kimberly-Clark expects the transaction to close before the end of the year.
3. Kimberly-Clark is dirt cheap
You may think that Kimberly-Clark would command a premium valuation, given that its stock price is outpacing the S&P 500 and Nasdaq in 2026. However, Kimberly-Clark fell 23% last year and is down 18.1% over the last decade.
Kimberly-Clark now trades at just 15.2 times analyst consensus 2026 earnings estimates of $7.54 per share. Its 10-year median price-to-earnings ratio is 21.9.
A top high-yield dividend stock to buy now
Investors who believe the Kenvue acquisition is the right move are getting a chance to buy Kimberly-Clark at a dirt cheap valuation. Kimberly-Clark expects the combined company to deliver $2.1 billion in annual run rate synergies by the second year following the acquisition, unlocking operating leverage and boosting margins.
In the meantime, investors can count on Kimberly-Clark's high-yield dividend. Although a high yield can sometimes indicate that a dividend is becoming unsustainable, Kimberly-Clark's earnings and free cash flow still exceed its payout.
With an established and recession-resistant portfolio of brands, Kimberly-Clark stands out as an attractive value stock for investors looking for an alternative to high-flying growth stocks. Unlike hyperscaler cloud computing companies, Kimberly-Clark isn't spending a ton of capital expenditures on big ideas that it needs to pay off. Rather, it is a stable stalwart that has rewarded income investors for decades.
Therefore, Kimberly-Clark can continue to outperform the S&P 500 and Nasdaq because its earnings growth expectations are already low. So even decent results would likely be received well by investors. However, Kimberly-Clark isn't without its risks.
If the Kenvue acquisition doesn't go as smoothly as planned or fails to unlock the cost savings Kimberly-Clark hopes for, it could make its dividend less affordable, which could strain its balance sheet. The combined company must also prove it can extract value from a larger portfolio of brands, which comes with a slew of execution challenges from a new leadership team.
Therefore, some investors may want to wait for the dust to settle after the Kenvue acquisition before buying the stock. Investors who don't mind the uncertainty can scoop up shares at an attractive valuation.

The tech sector, especially semiconductor stocks, has been the driver of broader market returns. But that doesn't mean all value stocks are underperforming the major indexes.
Colgate-Palmolive (NYSE: CL) is up 20.4% YTD. And it's also an ultra-reliable dividend stock that has paid uninterrupted dividends since 1895 and has increased its payout for 63 consecutive years. That streak earns Colgate-Palmolive a spot on the list of Dividend Kings, which are companies that have paid and increased their dividends for at least 50 consecutive years.

Here's why Colgate-Palmolive remains a top buy now even after its recent run-up.
Colgate-Palmolive is at the top of its game
Colgate-Palmolive has been a standout in the household and personal products industry. The company is guiding for 2026 net sales growth of 2% to 6% and organic sales growth of 1% to 4% at a time when many of its peers are experiencing sales declines. And even with margins under pressure, Colgate-Palmolive remains one of the most profitable companies in its industry. By comparison, Unilever, Kenvue, Church & Dwight, Clorox, Kimberly-Clark, and Estee Lauder all have operating margins under 20%.
The industry has been dealing with inflationary pressures and consumer resistance to price increases. But Colgate-Palmolive has done a masterful job of navigating these challenges through its elite brand portfolio, highly efficient supply chain and operations, and geographic diversification.
In addition to its flagship Colgate and Palmolive brands, the company owns Softsoap, Irish Spring, Tom's of Maine, and Speed Stick, among others. One of Colgate-Palmolive's top brands, Hill's Pet Nutrition, made up 23% of total 2025 sales.
Without factoring in Hill's, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Latin America, and Asia Pacific sales are more than triple those of North America, which has helped make Colgate-Palmolive resistant to U.S.-specific inflationary pressures. In the first quarter of 2026, North America was the only region that reported declining net and organic sales, while Latin America and EMEA posted double-digit growth and total company net sales rose 8.4% year over year.
A dividend you can count on
Colgate-Palmolive is far from cheap -- trading at 25 times forward earnings -- because the stock price has been rising faster than the company's earnings growth. But Colgate-Palmolive deserves its premium valuation because its results are solid despite a difficult operating environment. This resilience is particularly appealing to risk-averse folks seeking a stable passive income stream to help supplement retirement income. If inflationary pressures ease and consumer spending improves, a rising tide will lift the broader household and personal products industry. But Colgate-Palmolive isn't dependent on those factors to drive sales growth.
Colgate-Palmolive yields 2.2%, which is good but not quite high-yield territory. Many of its peers offer higher yields because they distribute the vast majority of their cash flow to shareholders through dividends, whereas Colgate-Palmolive's dividend is highly affordable. Its trailing-12-month free cash flow per share is at an all-time high of $4.66, well over double its $2.06 per-share annualized dividend.
So while Colgate-Palmolive could easily afford to pay a higher dividend, the company prefers a balanced approach of using cash to reinvest in the business, paying a steadily growing (and manageable) dividend, and buying back stock. Colgate-Palmolive has reduced its share count by 10% over the last decade, which has helped make the stock a better value.
Investing in a market leader
Colgate-Palmolive's geographic diversification and portfolio of leading brands across pet nutrition and oral, personal, and home care make it highly recession resistant. The company continues to deliver solid growth through volume and price increases, while many of its peers face a difficult trade-off: either cutting prices to drive volume or keeping prices high at the expense of lower sales volumes.
All told, Colgate-Palmolive stands out as one of the most reliable dividend-paying stocks on the market. It's a top buy for the second half of the year for investors who don't mind paying a premium price for a quality company.
