JPMorgan Chase & Co. operates as a financial services company worldwide. It operates through four segments: Consumer & Community Banking (CCB), Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), and Asset & Wealth Management (AWM). The CCB segment offers deposit, investment and lending products, cash management, and payments and services; mortgage origination and servicing activities; residential mortgages and home equity loans; and credit cards, auto loans, leases, and travel services to consumers and small businesses through bank branches, ATMs, and digital and telephone banking. The CIB segment provides investment banking products and services, including corporate strategy and structure advisory, and equity and debt market capital-raising services, as well as loan origination and syndication; payments; and cash and derivative instruments, risk management solutions, prime brokerage, and research. This segment also offers securities services, including custody, fund accounting and administration, and securities lending products for asset managers, insurance companies, and public and private investment funds. The CB segment provides financial solutions, including lending, payments, investment banking, and asset management to small and midsized companies, local governments, nonprofit clients, and large corporations, as well as investors, developers, and owners of multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and affordable housing properties. The AWM segment offers multi-asset investment management solutions in equities, fixed income, alternatives, and money market funds to institutional clients and retail investors; and retirement products and services, brokerage, custody, estate planning, lending, deposits, and investment management products to high net worth clients. JPMorgan Chase & Co. was founded in 1799 and is headquartered in New York, New York.

For JPMorgan, the picture is strong in terms of earnings quality, but the valuation already reflects this fundamental strength to a significant extent. A P/E of 16.0 and P/S of 3.24 are above the industry median, while a P/B of 2.46 is almost twice the median, indicating a premium to the sector and limiting the potential for further upside without growth acceleration. At the same time, ROE of 15.94%, ROTE of 19.40%, and net profit margin of 20.17% remain high and above industry benchmarks, while the year-over-year trend is generally stable, with no signs of deterioration in business quality. Revenue, operating profit, and net income are growing, which supports the valuation and confirms the franchise’s resilience. EPS and forward EPS have also improved, which is positive for fair value. On the other hand, leverage and the debt/equity ratio look high relative to the median, while the current ratio and quick ratio are weak, which is not critical for a bank but still limits the valuation from a balance-sheet perspective. The dividend yield of around 0.44% has declined compared with last year, so the dividend factor is not currently a strong driver of re-rating. Gross margin is below the industry median, although for the financial sector this metric is less informative than profitability and return on equity. Assets, equity, and profitability remain at a high level, and balance sheet and capital growth support the business’s stability. Overall, the fundamentals justify a premium valuation, but not one strong enough to aggressively raise the target. Given the already high multiple and moderately weak liquidity ratios, the adjustment should be cautious and slightly negative.

Expected, if not welcome
The equity of Chase and other banks didn't decline more on that news because many market players, not to mention analysts and economists, were expecting it. Nevertheless, inflation continues to have a withering effect on both the U.S. and global economies, and at some point in the near future, it's almost a given that the Fed will hike rates again.
Higher rates aren't automatically a boon for every bank. By and large, however, lenders benefit from a wider "spread" between the interest they earn on loans and the usually minuscule interest they pay on client deposits.
When rates rise, loan interest almost always increases more than deposit interest. Banks are not renowned for being generous.
A very resilient lender
Another factor is that Chase stock had quite a run-up before the Fed's jet of cold water. Like all other lenders participating in the regulator's annual stress tests this year, it passed with flying colors. Compounding that, its recent quarterly earnings reports have been excellent, packed with impressive growth numbers despite a few concerns. Sooner or later, the party always ends.
I don't think this is the start of a rout for either Chase or the U.S. bank sector as a whole. This company will continue to do well in an economy that remains frothy -- ditto for the capital markets it's so deeply involved in -- and it's sure to benefit when rates ultimately get a hike or several.

Coca-Cola reported a strong second quarter on Tuesday and, as so often happens following a blowout earnings release, a score of analysts raised their price targets on the stock.

One of the more bullish raisers was Dara Mohsenian of white-shoe investment bank Morgan Stanley. He not only cranked his fair value assessment to $100 per share from $89, he also reiterated (and emphasized) that Coca-Cola was a top pick at his company. Almost needless to say, he continued to rate the stock as an overweight (read: buy).
According to reports, he cited several impressive growth figures for the quarter. These included the company's unit case growth of 5% year over year (trouncing analyst projections of slightly more than 2%). Mohsenian added that growth in many areas would have been impressive even without the boost of the World Cup and the hotter-than-usual weather.
Other researchers lifting their price targets for the beverage sector king included analysts from such influential companies as JPMorgan Chase's J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo.
The best in the business
To me, Coca-Cola's second quarter wasn't a one-off or fluke because of the above-mentioned factors.
Many advertisers were competing for attention during the World Cup, and American consumers in particular have plenty of choices when it comes to quenching their heat-induced thirst. The company's advertising and marketing efforts clearly struck a chord, illustrating one of its great and almost unbeatable strengths.
Coca-Cola is firing on nearly all cylinders these days, with a management team that knows the great value of the brand it's steering, and how to extract value from it. Plus, the stock is one of the best income plays on the market with its generous dividend. I've been a longtime Coke bull, and I can't imagine changing my stance, especially given its recent performance.

Despite uncertainty in the bond market, the Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF has returned 4.15% per year for the past three years and charges an ultra-low expense ratio of 0.03%.
Bonds don't usually offer the same levels of long-term growth as the best stocks, but bonds are supposed to be relatively "safe" fixed-income investments. As you get closer to retirement, conventional wisdom says that most people should have a larger portion of their portfolio invested in bonds.
Unfortunately, right now is a complicated time to buy bonds. There's a lot of uncertainty among bond investors about stubborn inflation, high energy prices, and global turmoil from the Iran conflict, all of which could lead to interest rate hikes from the Fed. Some bond investors also share the concerns that JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon expressed recently in an interview, where he said that high levels of U.S. government debt could drive long-term U.S. Treasury bond yields higher (and bond prices lower). If interest rates go higher in the future, that could make bonds, especially longer-term bonds, a risky bet today.

How should people navigate the bond market? Let's look at three popular bond exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that make it easy to buy bonds for different goals and time horizons. The T. Rowe Price Ultra Short-Term Bond ETF (NYSEMKT: TBUX) holds mostly short-term corporate bonds. The Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF (NASDAQ: BND) holds a diversified mix of short-term to longer-term bonds, with a large percentage of Treasuries and some corporate bonds. And the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (NASDAQ: TLT) owns nothing but Treasury bonds with 20-year durations or longer.
During the past three years, the T. Rowe Price Ultra Short-Term Bond ETF has outperformed the other two funds. In fact, the iShares long-term bond fund has lost about 5% of its value during that time.
Let's see which of these three bond ETFs could make the most sense for your investment goals.
iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT): 46 bonds, 24 years of 3.68% annualized returns
The iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF holds a total of 46 bonds, all U.S. Treasuries, with a weighted average maturity of 26.07 years. As of July 24, it is earning a 30-day yield of 5.10%. The fund was created in July 2002, and for the past 24 years it has earned average annual returns of 3.68%.
Buying long-term Treasury bonds paying about a 5% yield might sound "safe," but it's not always the best choice. Because the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF is a longer-duration bond fund, it is vulnerable to long-duration interest rate risk. If interest rates go up in the future, this ETF could lose value for investors. Just like it has for the past several years, with negative annualized total returns of -1.65% for the past three years, -6.66% for the past five years and -1.93% for the past 10 years.
T. Rowe Price Ultra Short-Term Bond ETF (TBUX): 618 holdings, nearly 5 years of 4.11% annualized returns
The T. Rowe Price Ultra Short-Term Bond ETF takes a completely different approach to investing in bonds. Instead of only Treasuries, the T. Rowe Price fund takes a multisector strategy and owns mostly corporate debt and some international bonds. The fund has about 618 holdings, and only 5% of the fund's assets are in U.S. Treasury bonds. The rest are mostly corporate bonds and notes (49.6% of the fund), asset-backed securities (22.1%), and mortgage-backed securities (10.5%).
And instead of being limited to durations of 20 years or longer, this ultra-short duration bond fund only owns bonds that are much closer to maturity, with a weighted average maturity of 1.79 years. The T. Rowe Price Ultra Short-Term Bond ETF has existed for almost five years. Since its September 2021 inception date, the fund has delivered average annual returns (by net asset value) of 4.11%, and a total return of 4.63% in the past year.
This T. Rowe Price fund has outperformed the other two bond ETFs for the past few years, but it also charges slightly higher fees, with a 0.17% expense ratio. The iShares long-term Treasury bond ETF charges an expense ratio of 0.15%, while the Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF charges 0.03%.
Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF (BND): 11,476 bonds, 19 years of 3.08% annualized returns
What if you want to find a middle ground between longer-duration bonds and ultra-short-term bonds? The Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF can do that. In the past 19 years since its inception in April 2007, this bond ETF has delivered average annual returns (by net asset value) of 3.08%. More recently, it's delivered average annual returns (by net asset value) of 4.15% in the past three years, and 3.7% in the past year.
This bond ETF is massively diversified, with 11,476 bonds in its portfolio, with an average effective maturity of 8.2 years. About 79.6% of this fund's bonds have maturities of less than 10 years, and about 45% of the fund matures in less than five years. That could offer decent protection against longer-term interest rate risk.
The Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF also offers exposure to a broad mix of bond sectors. About 49.2% of the fund's holdings are in U.S. Treasury or agency bonds, with 19.3% allocated to government mortgage-backed securities. Other leading issuer types include corporate bonds such as industrials (14.75% of the fund) and finance (8.09%).
Which bond ETF should you buy? It depends on your time horizon and risk tolerance. But the Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF is a solid choice for most bond investors. It's ultra-low cost and highly diversified. If you want to keep your bond investments simple, BND is tough to beat.

Records across the board
JPMorgan Chase is the largest bank in the U.S. by far, with more than $4 trillion in assets. Its performance at a given time is a valid reflection of broader economic and banking trends. It's also well diversified between commercial and consumer banking, whereas other banks lean toward one or the other. This gives JPMorgan Chase particular insight into both sides of the banking coin.
In Q2 2026, revenue increased 27% year over year, surpassing expectations, to reach a record $58 billion, and net income was up 41% to $21.2 billion. Both of these figures include "significant items" related to an investment in Visa, without which they would be a lot lower.
The performance was driven by a 45% increase in investment banking revenue. The bank was involved in the Space Exploration Technologies initial public offering, and its equities division profited from a robust bull market. In Q2, the S&P 500 gained almost 15%. However, consumer and community banking revenue was also up a solid 8%.
Is there danger on the horizon?
Dimon generally takes a practical approach to growth and doesn't shy away from calling out potential risks. "It's getting close to as good as it gets," he acknowledged. "We just don't know how long it's going to last."
In that vein, he warned of future volatility. "Several risks are shifting below the surface like tectonic plates, including geopolitical tensions and wars, sticky inflation, large global fiscal deficits, and elevated asset prices," he noted in his shareholder's letter.
While he pointed out that artificial intelligence (AI) spend is driving economic growth, he cautioned about what could happen next. "We cannot predict how these forces will ultimately play out," he said. "They may remain manageable, but they could also cause meaningful disruptions when they shift or collide."
Ultimately, investors should handle this like any other time, since the future is always uncertain. You should be prepared for any eventuality with a well-diversified portfolio of around 50 stocks of all classes and categories. If you anticipate a coming correction, you might want to reshuffle your portfolio to have more safe stocks and dividend stocks, which can provide protection while you gain from growth and AI stocks.

The nine words you need to focus on for the future
After discussing the giant bank's strong results, Dimon looked to the future: "However, several risks are shifting below the surface like tectonic plates, including geopolitical tensions and wars, sticky inflation, large global fiscal deficits and elevated asset prices." The nine words you need to worry about are "geopolitical tensions and wars," "inflation," "deficits," and "elevated asset prices." Each one of these factors alone could shift Wall Street's mood in a negative direction, but all of them together could lead to an earthquake, as Dimon's "tectonic plates" analogy makes clear.
The problem is that there's no easy solution to any of these situations, and there's material interplay between them. For example, geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are driving up energy prices, which, in turn, are pushing up inflation. Spending on the Middle East conflict and money given to allies to support the Ukrainian conflict are pushing up deficits.
The one factor that seems odd in this list is elevated asset prices, which suggest investors are ignoring the other risks Dimon has highlighted. That turns elevated asset prices into a risk of their own. If investors suddenly decide to reduce risk, a bear market wouldn't be at all surprising. That said, inflation could lead to a recession, which could have the same outcome. And a rapid increase in geopolitical tensions might have the same outcome, too.
Dimon isn't making a prediction; the CEO is just highlighting the risks
Dimon added that "We cannot predict how these forces will ultimately play out. They may remain manageable, but they could also cause meaningful disruptions when they shift or collide." Further, he noted that his company is closely monitoring the investment environment. In other words, you don't have to run for the hills, but you may want to be more attentive to your investment portfolio even as you benefit from a strong investment environment. That's what JPMorgan, under Dimon, is doing.

This stems from its offerings in commercial banking, investment banking, consumer banking (through the Chase brand), and asset management for wealthier clients.
As the global economy grows, so should JPMorgan's lending and banking services. The more deposits it houses on its balance sheet -- total assets grew to $3.7 trillion last quarter -- the better able the bank is to make loans and other investments. For example, last year the company committed $1.5 trillion to making loans and direct investments over the next 10 years in sectors relevant to U.S. national security.
JPMorgan trades at a price-to-earnings ratio (P/E) of about 15, with a dividend yield of 1.7%. It is not as cheap as it has been historically, but I believe its investors will see slow, steady gains and solid dividend income.
Growing fintech revenues
On the other end of the banking spectrum are fintech disruptors such as Nu Holdings, which operates the Nu Bank brand. It is an entirely digital banking application that has quickly grown into a leadership position in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, with plans to enter the U.S. market in the near future once it obtains a banking license.
Nu Bank is much smaller than a big bank like JPMorgan, with $42 billion in deposits at the end of last quarter. However, the business is growing quickly, with 135 million banking customers, having been founded only in 2013. In the last three years, its revenue has increased by 170%, a much faster growth rate than JPMorgan's cumulative growth of 31%.
From a business model standpoint, Nu Bank is less diversified than JPMorgan, depending heavily on consumer credit card spending and on personal loans to Brazilians and Mexicans, making it a riskier investment. At the same time, it trades at a P/E ratio of 22, which is not overly expensive but slightly higher than what one sees looking at the big banks.
Which is the better buy?
An older investor seeking dividend income and steady earnings may favor JPMorgan over fintech disruptors such as Nu Holdings. On the other hand, investors who want to take a little more risk may favor a growth stock like Nu Holdings or other fintech players such as SoFi Technologies. Nu Bank is nowhere near the household name that JPMorgan is, but it is a smaller company with a strong track record of growth that could deliver multibagger gains.
For my money, an investor with a decade-long time horizon will do better owning Nu Holdings stock. It trades at a P/E ratio only slightly higher than JPMorgan's and is growing rapidly. Even though it has a shorter history as a bank (it is hard to compete with the hundred-plus years of brand building at JPMorgan Chase), this risk is more than offset by its growth potential.

Warren Buffett delighted the market when Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRKA)(NYSE: BRKB) announced a new stake in Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG)(NASDAQ: GOOGL) in the 2025 third quarter, and Greg Abel added to the position when he tripled it in the 2026 first quarter, his first as chief executive officer. Alphabet represents 7.8% of Berkshire's equity portfolio, making it one of the largest positions.
Although Alphabet reported fantastic growth in the 2026 second quarter, the stock plunged after the earnings report last week. The market was not pleased with management's plans to devote as much as $205 billion to capital expenditures for the full year, which already sent free cash flow into negative territory in the first quarter for the first time in more than a decade.

But as the stock falls, it's trading at a bargain-basement price. Here's why it looks like a great deal rather than a value trap.
Stepping it up for AI
Hyperscalers like Alphabet continue to view artificial intelligence (AI) as a huge opportunity, and they're spending to capitalize on it and keep up with the competition. JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon thinks totaL spending is going to reach $700 billion this year, up from $400 billion last year, and Alphabet is spearheading the charge with its investments.
The second-quarter results were outstanding, and they demonstrated an acceleration from first-quarter results. Revenue increased 24% year over year, with growth across the company. The standout, though, was in the cloud business, where the AI magic happens. Cloud revenue increased 82% year over year, and Alphabet may have made progress in closing the gap with Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) Web Services and Microsoft, which are both ahead of it inglobal marketshare.
"Our AI investments are redefining what's possible across every part of our business," CEO Sundar Pichai said. The company is experiencing rapid growth in the AI business, and it's happening everywhere across the enterprise, from search users going deeper with AI mode to 90% of Fortune 100 clients engaging with Gemini Enterprise.
More than 9 million developers are creating apps with Gemini large-language models, and the latest Gemma open model has been downloaded 300 million times since going live in April. The Gemini app now has more than 950 million monthly active users.
The broad exposure to the global stage through its 90% dominance in search creates tremendous opportunities for Alphabet, but the growth happens at the enterprise level, since large business clients spend more money on development. Client commitments accelerated to 50% growth in the second quarter, and Alphabet is investing to meet demand as its supply is constrained.
Management was very clear that it expects capex to increase "significantly" in 2027, and that free cash flow will be pressured while the company invests in the technical infrastructure. It expects this approach to create the foundation for future growth and attractive returns.
Bargain or value trap?
It's hard for investors to know what to make of this. The market is clearly seeing this development in a negative light, but so far, Alphabet continues to thrive. Management expects the spending to pay off in spades, and the company has a strong track record of building dominant, profitable businesses.
Is this needless market worry? If so, investors who scoop up shares will be well rewarded down the line. In fact, this may be just the kind of opportunity Buffett often talks about, the kind of opportunity that happens rarely but can lead to outstanding gains.
At the current price, Alphabet stock trades at 16 times trailing-12-month earnings, which is its lowest P/E ratio ever.
The bigger question, I think, is how quickly the stock will recover. The market is negative about Alphabet right now, and investors who jump now might have to wait for some time before sentiment turns positive. However, with the market fearful, it could be just the time to be greedy.

The S&P 500 flashes a warning seen only once before
In 1988, economist Robert Shiller introduced the cyclically adjusted price-to-earnings (CAPE) ratio as means of evaluating entire stock market indexes. Whereas the traditional price-to-earnings ratio can be distorted by cyclical fluctuations in earnings, the CAPE ratio eliminates that noise by averaging inflation-adjusted earnings from the past decade.
The S&P 500 recorded an average CAPE ratio of 40.9 in June, the second straight monthly reading above 40. Not only is that well above the 20-year average of 27.6, but the last two months mark the first time since the dot-com bubble (in the late 1990s and early 2000s) that the S&P 500 recorded a CAPE ratio above 40.
Unfortunately, the index's rich valuation hints at substantial downside in the stock market. The following chart shows the S&P 500's best, worst, and average returns over different periods following a monthly CAPE ratio above 40.

There are two important data points in the chart. First, the S&P 500 has never generated a positive three-year return following a monthly CAPE ratio above 40. Second, if the S&P 500's future returns match the historical average, the index will drop 30% by July 2029.
Of course, past performance does not guarantee future results. The CAPE ratio did predict the dot-com crash, but the internet boom was different than the artificial intelligence (AI) boom. The internet did not reach mainstream adoption for more than a decade, but AI has achieved mainstream adoption in under five years.
In fact, AI ranks among the "fastest-adopted technologies in history, with nearly one in four American firms deploying it at scale," according to Justin Bieman, global investment strategist at JPMorgan Chase. That means AI could become a material source of corporate profits more quickly than the internet.
So what? The CAPE ratio is a backward-looking metric, meaning it does not account for the possibility that earnings growth will accelerate. Earnings growth failed to keep pace with stock price appreciation during the dot-com bubble, which ultimately led to a market crash. The AI boom could play out differently. Earnings could grow fast enough to keep the S&P 500 moving higher while its CAPE ratio falls.
Wall Street expects the S&P 500 to gain 22% over the next year
S&P 500 companies reported exceptionally strong financial results in Q1 2026. At the index level, revenue increased 11.4% (the fastest growth since Q2 2022) and earnings increased 28.6% (the fastest growth since Q4 2021), according to FactSet Research.
Wall Street expects that momentum to continue. For the full year, the consensus estimate says revenue will increase 11% (the fastest growth since 2022) and earnings will increase 27% (the fastest growth since 2021). At the sector level, analysts anticipate the strongest earnings growth in the technology (65%), communication services (112%), and energy (128%) sectors.
In turn, Wall Street anticipates substantial upside in the S&P 500 over the next year. The median forecast puts the S&P 500 at 9,072 in July 2027. That implies 22% upside from its current level of 7,412. At the sector level, analysts expect the most upside in technology (24%) and communications services (27%). Investors should look closely at those sectors when searching for stocks.

Cryptocurrencies have had a rough time since October 2025, with most major coins and tokens trading deeply in the red. Not even the industry leaders have escaped the carnage, with Ethereum's native cryptocurrency, Ether (CRYPTO: ETH), down more than 60% from its all-time high.
But Tom Lee, Wall Street analyst and chairman of Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: BMNR), thinks this could be an incredible opportunity to buy Ether. It currently trades at about $1,940 per coin, but he predicts it is about to embark on a staggering rally to $250,000, representing a potential gain of almost 13,000%.

Lee says the transition to "Ethereum 2.0" could create a tremendous amount of value, and here's what he means.
How does Ethereum work?
Ethereum is a platform where people develop decentralized software applications, which are popular in industries such as finance and gaming. These apps are governed by slivers of computer code called smart contracts that live on the Ethereum blockchain, and they typically can't be changed. This approach ensures no person or company can manipulate an app's rules or functions, so it always remains fully decentralized.
The Ethereum network itself is also decentralized, because it's hosted on thousands of nodes, or computers, all over the world, which store an updated copy of its blockchain. Therefore, the network won't be compromised even if some nodes suffer an outage, which is how Ethereum has maintained 100% uptime during the past decade.
Ether is the lubricant that keeps the network running. Whenever someone uses an Ethereum-based app, that person activates a smart contract and triggers a fee payable in Ether, which covers the computer processing costs. That means demand for Ether grows organically as the network becomes more popular, which should result in a higher value per coin, at least in theory.
What is Ethereum 2.0?
Tom Lee thinks there is a fundamental shift happening right now, which will see Ethereum leave the early non-fungible token (NFT) and crypto software application era behind, and move into the mainstream economy. He thinks major financial institutions will increasingly build payment rails on the network, and he also believes it could become the primary settlement layer for transactions conducted by artificial intelligence (AI)-powered agents.
BlackRock and JPMorgan Chase have launched investment funds using the Ethereum network this year, which are hosted on the blockchain instead of traditional stock exchanges. These funds have already attracted billions of dollars combined, which they invest in secure assets such as U.S. Treasury securities.
Robinhood Markets also recently launched an Ethereum-based project, which tokenizes real-world stocks to allow clients to bypass regular exchanges and buy and sell shares through the blockchain instead. Blockchains never close, so clients can transact 24 hours per day, even on weekends.
On the AI side, digital agents will eventually need their own identities and potentially even their own money. An established, trusted, and decentralized network like Ethereum could be perfectly suited to processing their transactions, and there's no telling how big this opportunity could be over the long term.
Is Lee's target realistic?
There are 120.7 million Ether coins in circulation right now, so at $1,940 each, the ecosystem has a market capitalization of about $234 billion. Some simple math suggests that a price of $250,000 per token would result in a market cap of $30.1 trillion, which is roughly equal to the output of the entire U.S. economy last year. It would also make Ether six times more valuable than Nvidia, the world's largest company, which is currently valued at about $5 trillion.
If Ethereum does become an important utility in the financial and AI industries, then it's possible Lee's $250,000 target will come to fruition one day. However, despite the adoption by major financial institutions so far, the network still only has roughly 2.2 million daily active wallet addresses across its main blockchain and all major Layer-2 blockchains, which is actually down from 3.7 million a year ago -- and trending lower, according to Growthepie.
In other words, it seems Ethereum is still operating on the fringes of industries such as finance, and regular consumers aren't flocking to tokenized funds or assets. It's unclear what could eventually drive mainstream adoption, but that is a critical hurdle standing in the way of Lee's ambitious target.
It's also important to remember that Lee is the chairman of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, which currently owns 5.8 million Ether coins, pr nearly 5% of the entire circulating supply. The company's position is worth a whopping $11 billion, but that would grow to a staggering $1.4 trillion if Ether hits $250,000 per coin. Therefore, his highly bullish forecast is a little self-serving, and I'd treat it with a healthy dose of skepticism.
