It also offers membership products, including DashPass and Wolt+; DoorDash Drive and Wolt Drive, which are white-label delivery fulfillment services that enable merchants that have generated consumer demand through their channels to fulfill demand using its platform; DoorDash Storefront that enables merchants to offer consumers on-demand access to e-commerce; and Bbot, which offers merchants digital ordering and payment solutions for in-store and online channels. In addition, the company enables merchants to advertise and promote on its platform to acquire consumers. The company was formerly known as Palo Alto Delivery Inc. and changed its name to DoorDash, Inc. in 2015. DoorDash, Inc. was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

FDN, CSCO, DASH, RBLX: Large Outflows Detected at ETF

Investors in DoorDash Inc (Symbol: DASH) saw new options become available today, for the December 5th expiration. At Stock Options Channel, our YieldBoost formula has looked up and down the DASH options chain for the new December 5th contracts and identified one put and one call contract of particular interest.
The put contract at the $250.00 strike price has a current bid of $14.80. If an investor was to sell-to-open that put contract, they are committing to purchase the stock at $250.00, but will also collect the premium, putting the cost basis of the shares at $235.20 (before broker commissions). To an investor already interested in purchasing shares of DASH, that could represent an attractive alternative to paying $252.23/share today.
Because the $250.00 strike represents an approximate 1% discount to the current trading price of the stock (in other words it is out-of-the-money by that percentage), there is also the possibility that the put contract would expire worthless. The current analytical data (including greeks and implied greeks) suggest the current odds of that happening are 59%. The current analytical data (including greeks and implied greeks) suggest the current odds of that happening are 49%. Lyft is growing at a double-digit rate as autonomous taxis have yet to put a dent into its expansion.
The company's profits are soaring thanks to changes in management.

This was echoed by Buffett's late right-hand man Charlie Munger who said, "When you get a lollapalooza, for God's sakes, don't hang by like a timid little rabbit."
To be sure, shares of this California-based company are already up 55% year to date, so it was certainly a better opportunity for investors at the start of the year. But I believe it can still be a key component of a growth-investing portfolio. And I'm talking about none other than ride-sharing platform Lyft (NASDAQ: LYFT).
Why Lyft is a golden opportunity
I see a golden opportunity as a company with the following features: its profits are improving; its stock trades at a cheap valuation; and it's growing nicely. Lyft shows all three.
For growth, Lyft is growing at a double-digit rate. In the second quarter of 2025, rides on its platform increased 14% year over year to an all-time high, and key underpenetrated markets such as Nashville grew at an over-20% rate. Q2 bookings also grew by double digits, and management expects 13% to 17% bookings growth for the upcoming Q3.
In short, growth is great for Lyft, and it's continuing to plow ahead.
For profit improvement, Lyft's CEO David Risher took over in 2023, vowing better profitability, and he's delivered on that pledge. The company officially turned the corner with positive free cash flow on a trailing-12-month basis in 2024's Q2 and has delivered six straight quarters of positive results.
Some of the notable changes under Risher have been an increase in sales-and-marketing spend, which has paid off with higher revenue. But corporate expenses have been largely held in place, and research-and-development expenses actually declined. The payoff is better profitability.
Finally, concerning valuation, Lyft stock trades at a mere 8 times its free cash flow. Many comparable businesses trade at a valuation that is two to three times higher than this, highlighting the bargain here.
It's rare to find a company that's growing by double digits on the top line, making meaningful gains on the bottom line, and also trading at a discount to comparable companies. That's why Lyft is a golden opportunity in my book.
Why some call it fool's gold
Many investors recognize everything I've highlighted here but nevertheless are bearish on Lyft stock. They don't question present results, but they do question sustainability. It's believed that Lyft's industry is changing and will leave it behind sooner or later.
The main catalyst for change in the ride-sharing space could be autonomous vehicles, specifically autonomous taxis. The idea is that there will be millions of autonomous taxis on the road, making Lyft's business model irrelevant. But there are some important counterpoints to consider.
First, there could be a long road ahead before autonomous taxis fully displace the current ride-sharing model. It's already slower to roll out than some pundits predicted. Lyft could continue for some time before this competitive risk really materializes.
Moreover, it's premature to believe that autonomous taxis would make third-party, ride-sharing platforms obsolete. Consider that Domino's Pizza has excelled at delivering its own pizzas for decades, but it still partnered with DoorDash for incremental revenue. It's quite possible that autonomous taxis would still be hailed from Lyft's app in the future.
Finally, there are parts of Lyft's business that would directly benefit from a more autonomous future. For example, Lyft's Flexdrive business provides management tools for fleets of autonomous taxis. This is just a single example of how Lyft could pivot in a worst-case scenario.
Riding with Lyft
Personally, I believe that investors are overemphasizing the potential risks to Lyft's business and underappreciating the investment opportunity. There may be businesses that are growing faster, and have better profit margins or cheaper stocks. But I struggle to find a more attractive combination of these three traits than Lyft stock right now.
That's why I see it as a golden opportunity. And it's why I've personally made Lyft stock a big component of my growth stock portfolio.

This California-Based Company Could Be a Key Player for Growth Portfolios

In early trading on Friday, shares of CSX topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 2.4%. Year to date, CSX registers a 14.2% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Arm Holdings, trading down 3.1%. Arm Holdings is showing a gain of 34.4% looking at the year to date performance.

Shares of Exxon Mobil have gained +6.6% over the year-to-date period against the Zacks Oil and Gas - Integrated - International industry’s gain of +7.5%. The company is advancing key oil projects in the Permian Basin and offshore Guyana, boosting production and efficiency. Its recent merger with Pioneer enhances its U.S. operations, while Guyana remains a major growth driver.
Exxon Mobil is also expanding into cleaner energy, with a major low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia plant in Texas and progress in advanced plastic recycling plants that turn old plastic into new raw materials. The company’s low debt exposure positions it to navigate different commodity cycles with ease.
However, the Chemicals Division remains a weak spot, with global oversupply leading to margin compression. Moreover, its upstream business is highly vulnerable to commodity price volatility. Ongoing tariff uncertainty is further weighing on the energy giant’s chemicals business. As such the stock warrants a cautious stance.

ServiceNow’s shares have declined -2.9% over the past year against the Zacks Computers - IT Services industry’s decline of -13.9%. The company has been benefiting from the rising adoption of workflows by enterprises undergoing digital transformation. In the second quarter of 2025, it had 11 deals greater than $5 million in net new annual contract value (ACV) and closed 89 deals greater than $1 million in net new ACV.
Gen AI deals continue to gain traction. NOW is extensively leveraging AI and machine learning technologies to boost the potency of its solutions. ServiceNow is riding on an expanding partner base and acquisitions.
For 2025, ServiceNow raised subscription revenues guidance by $125 million at the mid-point to $12.775-$12.795 billion, suggesting 19.5-20% on a non-GAAP constant currency (cc) basis. ServiceNow remains on track to surpass $15 billion in subscription revenues in 2026.

Shares of Stratus Properties have underperformed the Zacks Real Estate - Operations industry over the past year (-10.4% vs. +15.7%). This microcap company with a market capitalization of $160.85 million faces several headwinds, a $2.4 million net loss and $5.1 million operating cash outflow in H1 2025, rising interest costs on $112.7 million in largely floating-rate debt, and a challenging Austin real estate market that has delayed key asset sales. The stock trades at a discount to peers on price/book metrics.
Nevertheless, Stratus Properties is well-positioned to capitalize on Texas’ strong demographic and economic tailwinds, with around 1,500 acres of development-ready land across Austin and other growth markets. Stratus Properties’ focus on stabilized retail and mixed-use leasing generates recurring cash flow, while avoiding exposure to the challenged office sector. The expanded $25 million share repurchase program reflects disciplined capital allocation.

Rave Restaurant’s shares have outperformed the Zacks Retail - Restaurants industry over the past year (+7.8% vs. -10.4%). This microcap company with a market capitalization of $39.37 million offers a value-driven opportunity anchored by Pizza Inn’s steady growth in underserved markets. Comparable store sales rose 1.9% in fiscal 2025 with four years of net buffet unit growth, supported by the successful “I$8” promotion and 31 new stores under contract.

The next time you see a food robot on wheels navigating its way across a cracked sidewalk or a challenging pedestrian-heavy crosswalk, look harder. There might be some big backers behind that little rolling automaton trying to get a lamb gyro to a hungry customer a few blocks away.
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Uber (NYSE: UBER) were early financial backers of Serve Robotics (NASDAQ: SERV), a pioneer in delivery robotics. But it's not the only player in this niche, and there are other companies with lofty ambitions hoping to nail the last mile in urban delivery with a fleet of high-tech bots. Serve Robotics generated a mere $1.8 million in revenue for all of last year, and it had just 57 daily active robots in service heading into 2025.

Still, don't dismiss Serve Robotics just yet. It has a fun origin story, elite backers, a recurring role in a popular Netflix comedy special last year, and impressive deals that should help it scale quickly.
Hailing a fast ride
Uber's path to a stake in Serve Robotics is easy to explain: It inherited the platform. When the ride-hailing leader acquired Postmates five years ago in a $2.65 billion all-stock transaction, it was hoping to grow its reach -- for both drivers and customers -- for its fast-growing Uber Eats business. The popularity of ordering food and groceries through third-party delivery apps spiked in the wake of the pandemic, and Postmates was another weapon in the arms race.
Buried in the Postmates portfolio was a fledgling high-tech side bet on driverless deliveries: Serve Robotics. Uber thought it would be more of a distraction, so it spun the company off in 2021. Today, Uber investors have just a 12% stake in Serve Robotics.
Nvidia's entry into Serve Robotics was more conventional. The two were collaborating to incorporate Nvidia's artificial intelligence tools into Serve's autonomous delivery machines. Nvidia invested just $12 million in Serve Robotics in 2022, but that was enough for an 8% stake two years later.
That's a small price to pay for what is now the world's most valuable company by market cap, but Nvidia is known for helping finance companies that will drum up incremental business. And in any event, the stake didn't last. Nvidia cashed out its entire position -- at a healthy return -- in the fourth quarter of last year.
Waiter, there's a robot in my soup
"Why deliver 2-pound burritos in 2-ton cars?" That's a question Serve Robotics asks on its website's homepage.
"Why invest in a $900 million profitless company that couldn't break $2 million in revenue last year?" That's a question investors may be asking.
Wall Street has an answer: It thinks Serve Robotics should be worth more. Even after taking a 16% spill in Friday's market sell-off, Serve Robotics is up nearly 60% over the past year. Nvidia hasn't appreciated as much since cutting Serve Robotics late last year, but it's probably not giving that tactical decision a second thought. It locked in a big gain on a small company in a short amount of time. Nvidia will be fine.
Uber is making sure its remaining stake will continue to appreciate in value. Remember those 57 Serve Robotics rolling around busy sidewalks at the end of last year? Uber Eats alone has put another 1,000 of them on the road in 2025, including 380 just last month. It expects to have 2,000 of the delivery robots in action by the end of this year.
Even Uber rival DoorDash (NASDAQ: DASH) decided to roll with the enemy. Last week it entered into a multiyear partnership with Serve Robotics to start fulfilling deliveries. Profitability may be elusive for Serve for some time, but top-line growth should be explosive through at least the next few years.
