Bunge Global SA operates as an agribusiness and food company worldwide. It operates through four segments: Agribusiness, Refined and Specialty Oils, Milling, and Sugar and Bioenergy. The Agribusiness segment purchases, stores, transports, processes, and sells agricultural commodities and commodity products, including oilseeds primarily soybeans, rapeseed, canola, and sunflower seeds, as well as grains comprising wheat and corn; and processes oilseeds into vegetable oils and protein meals. This segment offers its products for animal feed manufacturers, livestock producers, wheat and corn millers, and other oilseed processors, as well as third-party edible oil processing and biofuel companies for biofuel production applications. The Refined and Specialty Oils segment sells packaged and bulk oils and fats that comprise cooking oils, shortenings, margarines, mayonnaise, renewable diesel feedstocks, and other products for baked goods companies, snack food producers, confectioners, restaurant chains, foodservice operators, infant nutrition companies, and other food manufacturers, as well as grocery chains, wholesalers, distributors, and other retailers. This segment also refines and fractionates palm oil, palm kernel oil, coconut oil, and shea butter, and olive oil; and produces specialty ingredients derived from vegetable oils, such as lecithin. The Milling segment provides wheat flours and bakery mixes; corn milling products that comprise dry-milled corn meals and flours, wet-milled masa and flours, and flaking and brewer's grits, as well as soy-fortified corn meal, corn-soy blends, and other products; whole grain and fiber ingredients; die-cut pellets; and non-GMO products. The Sugar and Bioenergy segment produces sugar and ethanol; and generates electricity from burning sugarcane bagasse. Bunge Global SA was founded in 1818 and is headquartered in Chesterfield, Missouri.

In the latest look at the underlying components of the S&P 500 ordered by largest market capitalization, Rollins, Inc. (Symbol: ROL) has taken over the #419 spot from Bunge Global SA (Symbol: BG), according to The Online Investor.
Market capitalization is an important data point for investors to keep an eye on, for various reasons. The most basic reason is that it gives a true comparison of the value attributed by the stock market to a given company's stock. Many beginning investors look at one stock trading at $10 and another trading at $20 and mistakenly think the latter company is worth twice as much — that of course is a completely meaningless comparison without knowing how many shares of each company exist. But comparing market capitalization (factoring in those share counts) creates a true "apples-to-apples" comparison of the value of two stocks. In the case of Rollins, Inc. (Symbol: ROL), the market cap is now $26.95 billion, versus Bunge Global SA (Symbol: BG) at $24.00 billion.

Top 5 High-Yield S&P 500 Stocks to Buy for Reliable Returns in 2026

(RTTNews) - ForFarmers, a European livestock feed company, Monday announced that it has signed an agreement with Bunge Global SA (BG), an agrifood business, to establish a low-carbon soybean meal flow starting with the Netherlands.
The financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.
As per the supply agreement, Bunge needs to supply around 100,000 metric tons soybean meal to ForFarmers from various origins. Soybeans from Brazil will be sourced from farms participating in regenerative agriculture programs that meet Bunge's standards for deforestation-free sourcing. In return, ForFarmers will receive supply chain traceability and verified carbon footprint calculations through blockchain technology.
In pre-market activity, BG shares were trading at $94.92, up 0.36% on the New York Stock Exchange.

Bunge, ForFarmers Partner To Develop Low Carbon Soybean Meal Flow
