(RTTNews) - Software giant Adobe (ADBE) and YouTube have announced a partnership that will allow YouTube creators to use Adobe Premiere's new "Create for YouTube Shorts" hub, which will soon be available on the Premiere mobile app, to create YouTube Shorts.
This new, dedicated place to create and instantly publish to YouTube Shorts in Premiere mobile will bring Adobe's best-in-class video editing tools directly to millions of YouTube creators. Creators will be able to save and create templates or create their own to share on YouTube Shorts to inspire others and spark new trends.
YouTube's Scott Silver joined Adobe's Ely Greenfield on stage at MAX to share news of their new partnership with the global creative community.
"We're excited to partner with YouTube to give creators the power to produce, share, and grow on the world's biggest stage, YouTube," said Ely Greenfield, chief technology officer and senior vice president, digital media, Adobe. "YouTube Shorts has become the ultimate launchpad for creators and bringing Adobe Premiere mobile's pro-grade video editing tools to millions of YouTube creators helps them make amazing content and reach new audiences."

Dev Mode MCP server is a nice addition for developers who accounted for 30% of Figma’s monthly active users in the second quarter of 2025. Dev Mode MCP server speeds up developer workflows by bringing context from design systems into LLM-generated code.
The company has been adding new features to boost user engagement. Figma has added improvements that make it easier and more reliable to navigate files with a keyboard or screen reader. The company made the Figma app available in ChatGPT, and it will be able to recommend and create AI-generated FigJam diagrams based on user conversations. A new feature now allows users to copy any design from a Figma Make preview to the design canvas.
The new set of features is expected to boost Figma’s clientele. The company had 11,906 paid customers with more than $10,000 in annual recurring revenues (ARR) as of June 30, 2025, and 1,119 paid customers with more than $100,000 in ARR as of June 30, 2025.
Figma’s Q3 Guidance Reflects Declining Growth Rate
The company now expects third-quarter 2025 revenues between $263 million and $265 million, which suggests 33% year-over-year growth at the midpoint but slower than the 41% growth reported in the second quarter of 2025. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for third-quarter 2025 revenues is pegged at $263.9 million. The consensus mark for earnings is pegged at 4 cents per share, unchanged over the past 30 days.

For 2025, revenues are expected between $1.021 billion and $1.025 billion, which suggests 37% year-over-year growth at the midpoint. The company expects operating income between $88 million and $98 million.

Adobe has normally traded at a much higher earnings multiple
A year ago, Adobe was trading at a significant premium as its price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple was well over 40. Now, however, the stock's P/E multiple is around 21. A lower earnings multiple can signify that investors see problems with the business and are concerned about its future growth prospects, which is what I believe is happening.
In Adobe's case, there are reasons to indeed be concerned about its future. While it has some prominent software titles in its portfolio, including Photoshop and Acrobat, artificial intelligence (AI) is leveling the playing field for competitors and at the same time giving users new ways, such as chatbots, to edit and create images in seconds. As a result, it may become more difficult for customers to justify keeping a subscription to Adobe's software when there may be far cheaper alternatives.
The good news, however, is that despite these concerns, the business still hasn't been performing badly.
The business is still growing in double digits
What's encouraging about Adobe is that despite the competition in AI and design software, its sales haven't fallen over a cliff. Its growth rate remains above 10%, which is in line with its average over the past few years.
But that doesn't mean it's out of the clear by any means, or that AI isn't a long-term concern. The big question boils down to whether this resiliency is a sign of strength in its brand and portfolio of products, or whether it's simply too early to tell if consumers are pivoting away from the software.
It could take some time before cancellations show up in the company's earnings and affect its numbers, as Adobe isn't known for making things easy. In the past, the Federal Trade Commissioner has taken action against the software giant about making it too difficult to cancel its recurring subscriptions, and there are plenty of social media posts expressing frustration over the issue.
While there's no denying how successful and popular Adobe's products have been over the years, whether they can withstand the threat from AI is what could make or break the stock as a long-term investment.
Why Adobe's stock might be worth buying
AI is making it easier for anyone to be a photo editor, even without advanced skills, and that can make it difficult for Adobe to convince consumers that its premium-priced software is worth subscribing to now
But Adobe also has flexibility to adjust pricing and offer promotions to win over customers -- its gross profit margin is close to 90%, which gives it plenty of room to maneuver on price while still ensuring it posts strong earnings numbers. Adobe has also enhanced its applications with AI and that has helped give its sales a boost of late.
While there is some risk with the stock, at a significantly reduced valuation and its P/E multiple now below the S&P 500 average of 25, there's a good margin of safety that comes with these shares, which is why Adobe might be worth buying on weakness today. The business may face challenges, but by no means is it in a dire situation.

Suffice it to say, it has been essential to own a slice of companies like Nvidia, Microsoft, and Apple in order to keep pace with the broader market.

Apple launched Apple Intelligence in partnership with OpenAI last year, which is a suite of AI-powered apps and features for its iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers. Apple Intelligence can summarize text messages and emails, create images on command, and prioritize notifications based on the preferences of each user. Apple has over 2.35 billion active devices worldwide, so it could become the most dominant consumer AI company in the world.
Microsoft and Oracle are two of the biggest buyers of data center chips and components which they use to develop their own AI software, but they also make money by renting the computing capacity to businesses. In fact, both companies are experiencing more demand for data center capacity than they can possibly supply, as businesses across all industries race to adopt AI.
Palantir is one of the best-performing stocks in the AI space, with a 300% gain over the past year alone. It developed two platforms called Gotham and Foundry, which use AI to help organizations extract value from their data. It also offers a third platform called AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform), which allows organizations to connect their internal data to large language models (LLMs) so they can create AI applications.
Outside of its top 10 holdings, the Vanguard ETF holds many other powerhouse AI stocks. They include Adobe, Snowflake, Datadog, and cybersecurity giants Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike.
The Vanguard ETF has a great track record against the S&P 500
The Vanguard Information Technology ETF has delivered a compound annual return of 14.2% since it was established in 2004, comfortably outperforming the S&P 500, which climbed by 10.4% per year over the same period. However, given the ETF's high degree of exposure to volatile themes like AI, investors should avoid putting all of their eggs in one basket.
Instead, this Vanguard ETF is ideal for investors who might be overly exposed to more defensive areas of the market, like the financials, consumer staples, and real estate sectors which are known for paying high dividends, but tend to generate slower growth.
As I highlighted earlier, excluding the information technology sector from any portfolio tends to result in sluggish returns. Since AI is likely to remain a significant value creator in the coming years, investors who have minimal or no exposure to stocks like Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft might want to buy the Vanguard Information Technology ETF right now.

Iconic Software Stock Gets the Axe From Large Investment Manager, According to Recent Filing

Here are five growth stocks I'm particularly excited about for 2026.
Betting big on AI
With many AI stocks trading at premium valuations, investors need to ensure that they aren't just betting on one aspect of the AI value chain. Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), and ASML (NASDAQ: ASML) are three completely different companies with multi-year growth potential from AI.
Nvidia
Up over 34% year-to-date, Nvidia is on track to beat the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) this year, even after surging over 800% between the start of 2023 and the end of 2024. And yet, it still isn't overvalued because it continues to grow earnings at a breakneck pace.
Nvidia's advanced graphics processing units (GPUs) and associated software are especially good at handling complex AI workloads. As long as hyperscalers keep pouring capital expenditures into data center buildouts, Nvidia's earnings should show no signs of slowing down.
Oracle
One of those high-growth hyperscalers is Oracle. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a distant fourth in market share behind Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Alphabet-owned Google Cloud. However, I could see Oracle becoming the top cloud for AI by 2031.
Granted, this forecast is contingent on OpenAI's 10-gigawatt data center build moving forward on schedule. But outside of OpenAI, Oracle is still incredibly well-positioned to take market share from the industry veterans because its centers are purpose-built for AI rather than general computing.
Oracle is by far the riskiest stock on this list, but it could be worth a closer look for folks interested in a truly groundbreaking multi-year investment idea.
ASML
ASML is arguably the simplest way to bet big on AI. The company makes photolithography equipment for semiconductor manufacturing. Photolithography is the most crucial step of chip production because it involves printing designs on silicon wafers.
ASML has a monopoly on ultra-advanced machines called extreme ultraviolet (EUV) systems that reflect light to achieve short wavelengths. These machines are essential for printing small features and packing more transistors per chip, which is needed for parallel compute units like GPUs made by Nvidia.
In short, ASML is a catch-all way to invest in the growing demand for AI chip production.
A contrarian tech stock
AI is challenging the software-as-a-service business model for companies like Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE).
Adobe relies on subscriptions billed monthly or annually, depending on the number of users. But if users can do more with less, then companies may need fewer subscriptions. Or if a rival AI-powered tool can replicate some of the functions of Adobe's Creative Cloud suite for a fraction of the cost, that could erode Adobe's once seemingly impenetrable moat.
Despite these risks, Adobe's discounted valuation is simply too cheap to ignore. The stock is down 26% year to date and has fallen 34.5% over the last five years -- a period in which the S&P 500 is up 90%. Adobe is trading at just 20.5 times earnings and 15.2 times free cash flow compared a five-year median price-to-earnings ratio of 43.6.
While Nvidia, Oracle, and ASML all fetch premium valuations for their multi-year growth potential, Adobe is valued as if its best days are behind it. I think it's a mistake to count out Adobe. The stock could be an especially good buy for investors looking for tech stocks at a good value for 2026.
Netflix's recession-resistance makes it worth a premium valuation
Branching outside of tech is communications giant Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX). Like Nvidia and Oracle, Netflix is one of the "Ten Titans," a group of growth stocks that make up a staggering 39% of the S&P 500.
Netflix has an expensive valuation, but it is one of the highest-quality companies on the market. Consumers are pulling back on discretionary spending due to inflationary pressures and a higher cost of living. So one might think that Netflix could lose some subscribers, or at least some of its pricing power. But that's hardly been the case, as Netflix continues to grow its cash flows at a breakneck pace thanks to higher revenue and expanding margins.
It's easy for a company to do well when the operating environment is favorable. But it's the companies that can deliver even amid challenges that are worth buying and holding over the long term.
Netflix's record results are a litmus test for growth investors. They show that consumers are prioritizing their Netflix subscriptions over alternative entertainment options, which is a testament to Netflix's value. It's also a sign that the service is resistant to recessions, which is appealing for investors who feel uneasy about what the economy or stock market will do in 2026.
