From an investor's perspective, that strategy has been a success so far. As of Jan. 27, Tesla stock is trading near all-time highs with a market cap just shy of $1.5 trillion, despite flattish growth and declining profit margins over the last two years. Investors have bought into Musk's pitch about autonomy, and believe Tesla will be the leader of a potentially massive industry made up of self-driving cars and autonomous robots.
However, there's another robotics company that was valued at just $1 billion five years ago that is now arguably ahead of Tesla in autonomous robots. That's Boston Dynamics, which is now majority-owned by Hyundai Motor Group.
Hyundai acquired an 80% stake in Boston Dynamics from Softbank in June 2021, which valued the robot maker at $1.1 billion.
What you should know about Boston Dynamics
Boston Dynamics may not be a household name, but you've likely seen videos of its robots, including a quadrupedal, dog-like robot called Spot, which was its first commercial robot to go on sale in 2020, Stretch, a robot designed to automate warehouse tasks like moving boxes, and Atlas, a humanoid robot that was just named best robot at the CES show earlier this month.
CNET Group, which assembled a voting panel of more than 40 experts that awarded Atlas "Best Robot," said, "The Atlas was hands-down the best of the humanoid bunch we saw at CES 2026. The prototype version demoed at the show impressed us with its naturalistic walking gait. Meanwhile, the sleek product version is ready to be deployed into Hyundai manufacturing facilities from this year, where it might just be working on your next car."
Is the Boston Dynamics Atlas better than the Tesla Optimus?
Neither the Atlas nor the Optimus is on the market yet, so a straightforward evaluation of the two robots is difficult.
However, the Atlas is poised to be first to market as Boston Dynamics is now beginning commercial production with plans for tens of thousands of Atlas robots to be used in Hyundai factories. Additionally, Boston Dynamics forged a partnership with Google DeepMind to integrate its foundation models into Atlas.
At this point, the consensus is that Atlas has an edge over Optimus in areas like mobility and agility, and barring a major surprise, it will be first to market. Tesla bulls may tout its AI and software capabilities, but it's unclear if that's a true advantage for Tesla, considering the Atlas also has autonomous capabilities.
For now, it's clear at the very least that Tesla has serious competition in humanoid robotics and there's a good argument that it's fallen behind Boston Dynamics.
It's also worth remembering that Boston Dynamics was worth just $1.1 billion five years ago, which means that either investors are dramatically overvaluing Tesla's Optimus, or Hyundai got an incredible bargain when it acquired that stake from Softbank.
What it means for Hyundai
Hyundai Motor Group, which includes Kia and Genesis, is now the world's third-largest automaker behind Toyota and Volkswagen as of 2024 data, and it's also the third-largest EV-maker in the world behind Tesla and BYD in part due to the success of its Ioniq line of vehicles.
If Hyundai were a U.S.-listed stock, it would likely be getting a lot of attention from investors here, especially with the recent success of Boston Dynamics, but it's listed in South Korea, meaning investors can either purchase it over-the-counter or directly through a brokerage that allows investing in the Korea Exchange.
Hyundai currently has a market cap of roughly $90 billion, and it trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of just 12. For a company that's emerging as a leader in autonomous robots and is a top producer of both combustion and electric vehicles, that looks like a bargain price.
Rather than pay a sky-high premium for Tesla, Hyundai offers exposure to a strong and growing auto manufacturer with a thriving robotics business at an excellent price.

Why am I bullish on Toyota? Well, I will admit that part of the reason is that my attainable dream car is an MK V Supra. But there are other reasons, too. Read on, and I'll tell you.
Let's go places
Toyota really needs no introduction; there's a decent chance you've interacted with a Toyota vehicle today. The company's flagship model, the humble Corolla, is the single most produced car in history, with more than 50 million units sold since its introduction in 1966. It also makes staples of American and global roads like the Camry, Rav4, Tundra, Tacoma/Hilux, and Prius.
And while some companies are cutting models and streamlining their lineups while investing heavily in electric vehicles, Toyota only sells a single pure EV in the American market, the bZ.
But the company seems to be spending its R&D dollars on projects designed to give its brand the bedroom-poster appeal. Case in point: the new GR GT, which is a supercar with a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood, a transaxle gearbox, and over 600 horsepower.
Toyota is having fun, being exciting, and letting its engineers go a little crazy in a very good way. It's attracting attention to its brand, and it's a strategy that seems to be working because Toyota is one of the most profitable auto companies in the world despite the general affordability of its models.
Toyota's profitability stands out
Despite slowing vehicle sales in Toyota's largest market, the United States, sales for Q2 of Toyota's fiscal 2026 grew slightly by almost 3%, and sales in North America grew by almost 15%. Revenue grew by 8.1% over the second quarter of Toyota's fiscal 2026, totaling 12.38 trillion yen ($80.5 billion). Net income really surged, growing 62% from 573.7 billion yen to 932 billion yen ($5.9 billion).
And that brings me to Toyota's profitability. The company has a gross profit margin of 17.9% and a net income margin of 9.4%, which is higher than any other automaker aside from Ferrari, which doesn't really compete with Toyota in any meaningful way. Compared to its peers, Toyota's profitability really stands out. Volkswagen, for instance, is the only automaker that can rival Toyota in terms of size. Toyota wins easily compared to VW's 15% gross margin and 2.3% net margin.
Even better, it looks like Toyota stock is undervalued at the moment. The company's forward price-to-earnings ratio (P/E ratio) is sitting at 14.1 compared to the median in the sector at 19.8. Toyota is a steady grower with a safe business that isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The stock is up 31% over the past 12 months compared to the S&P 500's 16.9% return, and it has plenty of room left to grow based on its valuation.
Now seems to be a good time to get behind the wheel. All of Toyota's competitors are operating on razor-thin margins while Toyota makes a healthy profit on every car it sells. Its revenue is growing quickly, its brand is gaining all the right attention, it's undervalued, and, well, Toyota stock looks like it's going places.

Electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) company Joby Aviation (NYSE: JOBY) entered 2025 neck-and-neck with its peers, including Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR), the UK's Vertical Aerospace (NYSE: EVTL), and Germany's Lilium Aerospace. However, it ended 2025 having massively outperformed Archer and Vertical Aerospace, with its 62.4% rise; meanwhile, Lilium is now insolvent. In addition, the company is entering 2026 in excellent shape.
A year of progress

The company is ahead in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification race, and deals with Toyota, Delta Air Lines, and Uber (all investors in Joby) are helping it prepare to move from research and development toward commercialization. Toyota is assisting Joby with its world-class manufacturing expertise, a crucial requirement for Joby's vertical manufacturing model, which relies on developing its own technology. In contrast, Archer's asset-light approach involves integrating technology and components from established aerospace suppliers.
Delta Air Lines offers a potential market for home-to-airport taxi services, and the Uber/Joby partnership provides Joby with the opportunity to realize its ambition of becoming a vertically integrated transportation services company. A model that involves manufacturing its own eVTOLs for use in its own transportation company.
Joby's operational progress
Additionally, in 2025, Joby announced a doubling of its aircraft production capacity at its Marina, California, manufacturing site. Management also announced plans to take part in the White House eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP). The eIPP allows eVTOL companies to start operations in "select markets ahead of full FAA certification: according to Joby Aviation.
Outside the U.S., Joby demonstrated its technology at the Dubai Airshow and plans to launch an air taxi service in Dubai in 2026. Furthermore, Joby signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Saudi Arabia that includes a plan "to complete pre-commercial evaluation flights of its electric air taxi in the Kingdom in the first half of 2026."
Is Joby Aviation stock a buy?
The company's progress is hugely impressive, not least as Archer's model is supposed to make certification more straightforward than Joby's go-it-alone approach to developing technology.
Moreover, it has an opportunity for a commercial launch in Dubai in 2026 and a move toward one in Saudi Arabia, while Joby plans Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) flights with FAA pilots in early 2026, the final stage before full type certification in 2026 or 2027.
As such, there are numerous noteworthy events and milestones in 2026 that could potentially boost the share price if successfully completed.

Joby Aviation's Stock Outperfomed in 2025 and Ready for Takeoff in 2026

Ford Motor Company F is expanding its Bronco SUV lineup with the launch of the new 2027 Ford Bronco RTR, a performance-focused off-road variant. The Bronco RTR is the eighth addition to the Bronco SUV lineup. The new model is positioned between the standard Bronco trims and the high-output Bronco Raptor, targeting off-road enthusiasts who want enhanced capability without stepping up to the Raptor’s extreme performance and price point.
While the Bronco RTR retains the familiar design language of the traditional Bronco, it features design tweaks and upgraded off-road components, many of which are inspired by the Raptor.
The Bronco RTR is powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing approximately 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Although this setup falls short of the Bronco Raptor’s 3.0-liter V6 output, which delivers 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque, it remains well-suited for off-road performance while maintaining everyday usability.
The introduction of the new RTR variant underscores Ford’s strategy to broaden its rugged SUV portfolio while appealing to buyers who find the Raptor’s pricing out of their reach.
While Ford has not disclosed the exact pricing, the Bronco RTR is likely to sit between the $51,475 Bronco Heritage Edition and roughly $80,000 Bronco Raptor, while the base Bronco is priced around $40,000.
This launch also builds on Ford’s ongoing partnership with RTR Vehicles, which began with the Mustang RTR performance model and now extends to the Bronco lineup. The collaboration reflects Ford’s focus on blending performance branding with off-road capability.
Ford confirmed that the order books for the Bronco RTR will open in October 2026, with sales beginning in January 2027.

Can the 2027 Ford Bronco RTR Attract Off-Road Enthusiasts?

Japanese stocks have surged to record highs this week while the yen weakened, and bond yields rose on reports that Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi may call snap elections soon. Takaichi is hoping to convert her high approval ratings into a parliamentary majority for her party.
The Nikkei, which has been rising since Takaichi became Japan’s first female prime minister in late October, significantly outperformed the SPDR S&P 500 ETF SPY last year. Takaichi is known as a protégé of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and a supporter of Abenomics.
Investors are hopeful that Takaichi will introduce aggressive fiscal spending, including increased defense outlays and tax cuts to support economic growth. She has also pledged to boost investment in high-growth areas such as artificial intelligence and semiconductors. Overall, her policy agenda appears supportive of Japanese equities, and the market is optimistic about the so-called Takaichi trade.
Japan’s stock market was already performing well even before the election. Improved corporate governance and more shareholder-friendly policies have attracted global investors back to Japan. The country is seeing a strong reflationary trend, with growth, wages, and prices all on the rise.
Concerns about a potential bubble in NVIDIA NVDA and other artificial intelligence beneficiaries have also led some investors to look to Japan, where valuations appear more reasonable relative to the US. At the same time, Japanese technology stocks continue to benefit from artificial intelligence enthusiasm, given the country’s important role in global technology supply chains.
Warren Buffett’s endorsement has also supported Japanese equities. The Oracle of Omaha began investing in five Japanese trading houses in 2019 and has compared their diversified business models to Berkshire Hathaway BRK.B itself.
Buffett has continued to increase his stake while effectively hedging the currency risk. The value of his positions recently topped $30 billion, according to CNBC. Earlier this year, he told shareholders that Berkshire will hold these investments for “50 years or forever.”

U.S. Auto Industry 2025 Review and What to Expect from 2026
Despite high vehicle prices, rising financing costs and tariff pressure, the U.S. auto industry had a surprisingly strong 2025. Total sales rose about 2% to roughly 16.2 million units, marking the best year since 2019. Early-year demand, especially for trucks and SUVs, fueled growth, though the market slowed in the fourth quarter as electric vehicle (EV) demand cooled following the expiration of federal tax credits.
Car buyers faced record prices, paying an average of $50,326 for a new vehicle in December 2025, per Kelley Blue Book. That marked a 0.8% increase from November's $49,814 average, highlighting the continuing pressure on affordability in the U.S. auto market.
Against this backdrop, here's a closer look at how the U.S. auto industry and major auto giants performed in 2025.
Key Highlights - 2025
Top Automakers by Sales
General Motors held its position as the top-selling automaker in the United States, delivering 2.85 million vehicles in 2025, up 5.5% from 2024. Gains came across Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC and Buick. The company extended its leadership in full-size pickups for the sixth straight year, with sales reaching 940,000 units. General Motors also ranked as the nation's second-largest EV seller.
Toyota Motor was the second largest seller in the country, delivering 2,518,071 vehicles, an 8% rise from 2024. Electrified models accounted for 47% of the sales. The Toyota brand delivered 2,147,811 units, while Lexus had a record year with 370,260 sales, driven by popular models like the RAV4 and Camry.
Ford was the third best seller, with total annual sales reaching 2.2 million vehicles, giving the company a 13.2% market share. Ford's F-Series remained America's best-selling truck in 2025, with sales topping 828,832 units, up 8.3%.

EV Trends & Tesla's Struggle
U.S. EV sales had a rollercoaster year. Early demand spiked ahead of the expiring federal tax credit, driving a record third quarter but the fourth quarter saw a sharp slowdown as incentives ended and affordability concerns grew.
Tesla faced its second consecutive annual delivery decline. For the full year, deliveries totaled roughly 1.64 million vehicles (comprising 1.58 million units of Model 3/Y and 50,850 other models). That denotes a decline from nearly 1.8 million vehicles sold in 2024. Falling incentives, competition from Chinese EV makers like BYD, and an aging fleet contributed to the full-year decline.
Legacy automakers adapted to cooling EV demand. Companies like Ford, General Motors and Stellantis made aggressive EV commitments during the Biden years. But with consumer demand cooling and incentives fading, they decided to "right-size" their EV plans to match real demand. These companies are now shifting resources toward higher-margin vehicles and proven revenue drivers.
As such, GM is set to book $7.6 billion in EV-related charges for 2025, while Ford is expecting $19.5 billion in special charges, with $5.5 billion impacting cash flows through 2026–27. Stellantis has delayed its all-electric RAM pickup and the Ramcharger EREV to late 2026, pivoting toward hybrids and a balanced lineup. STLA acknowledged that strategic changes will lead to meaningful one-time costs, but hasn't disclosed the exact amount.
Autonomous Vehicles
Companies are accelerating in autonomous mobility. Waymo, Zoox, and Tesla expanded robotaxi services, signaling that self-driving technology is becoming a core focus.
U.S. Auto Industry Outlook - 2026
The U.S. auto industry enters 2026 with caution. While easing inflation and expected interest rate cuts should support buying power to some extent, a slower labor market and weaker job growth may affect consumer confidence, making families more hesitant to spend on big-ticket items like cars.
Government policy will remain a major factor. Tariffs, changing fuel economy rules and potential tax policy shifts will create a constantly changing environment. The renegotiation of the USMCA trade deal in 2026 will be especially important for automakers. Meanwhile, the EV market will enter a new phase. Incentives have expired, and many off-lease EVs will flow into the used market, which may reshape pricing and demand.
Artificial intelligence will continue to transform the industry. Companies are making investments in AI to improve efficiency. Early adopters will gain an advantage, but rising competition may also intensify pressure. The big question is whether AI spending will truly create value or pull resources away from critical traditional R&D.
Per Cox Automotive, new-vehicle sales are projected to fall to about 15.8 million units in 2026, down 2.4% from 2025.
So, while 2026 may not match the strength of 2025, the industry remains focused on strategic positioning, disciplined execution and preparation for the next major phase of transformation.

The Zacks Analyst Blog Highlights General Motors, Toyota Motor, Ford, Tesla and Stellantis

Shares of U.S. legacy automaker Ford F have surged more than 40% over the past year, handily outperforming the industry. Despite that, the company still appears undervalued. Ford trades at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 9.79, below its peer group.

Ford’s U.S. vehicle sales rose 6% year over year to 2.2 million vehicles in 2025, marking its best annual U.S. sales performance since 2019. Strong demand for trucks, SUVs, and hybrids drove deliveries. The Ford F-Series remained America’s best-selling truck in 2025. Ford was the third largest automaker in the United States in 2025 by sales volumes, just behind General Motors GM and Toyota TM. General Motors’ full-year deliveries rose 5.5% to 2.85 million units, while Toyota sold 2.52 million vehicles.
But while 2025 was a strong year for the U.S. auto industry, 2026 may not match the strength of last year. Industry experts anticipate sales to slow this year amid affordability challenges, tariff woes, policy changes and weak electric vehicle (EV) adoption.
Given these dynamics, should investors consider buying F stock now that it is trading at a discounted value? Let’s assess.
Strong Product Lineup & EV Reset to Aid Ford
Ford’s broad lineup, anchored by its F-Series trucks, Maverick pickup, and popular SUVs, provides a solid foundation for growth. Its hybrid strategy adds resilience amid weak EV sales. The company sold a record 228,072 hybrid vehicles (including PHEVs) in 2025, marking a 21.7% increase. The year concluded with record hybrid sales in the fourth quarter of 2025, with 55,374 vehicles sold.
Amid slower EV adoption, changing U.S. regulations under the Trump administration and rising costs, Ford is now leaning more toward hybrids, gas-powered vehicles, and smaller, affordable EVs. As a part of this strategy, the company will no longer launch a fully electric version of its best-selling F-150 pickup. Instead, the F-150 Lightning will be redesigned as a hybrid, featuring a gas-powered generator. Ford is also canceling its upcoming electric van and doubling down on gas and hybrid alternatives.
By scaling back its EV plans that no longer match demand, Ford is basically shifting resources toward higher-margin vehicles and proven revenue drivers. While this will impact near-term financials, with about $19.5 billion in special charges, mostly in the fourth quarter, as the company restructures its U.S. EV assets, the pivot is crucial for capital efficiency and future profitability.
Ford Pro Unit Strength
Ford Pro remains a key growth engine, supported by strong order books, rising demand for Super Duty trucks, and expanding software and service offerings. Strength across vehicles, software, and physical services underpins the segment’s momentum. Paid subscriptions rose 8% to 818,000 in the third quarter. Partnership with ServiceTitan enhances digital service capabilities, positioning Ford Pro as a major long-term earnings driver for the company.
Ford Betting Big on Energy Storage
Ford is launching a new battery energy storage systems business to tap rising demand from data centers and grid infrastructure. The company will leverage its wholly owned plants in Kentucky and Michigan and lithium iron phosphate technology, with shipments expected to start in 2027 and annual capacity targeted at 20 GWh. This initiative aims to create a diversified, profitable revenue stream, and Ford plans to invest about $2 billion over the next two years to scale the business.
Ford’s Autonomy Efforts
Ford is accelerating its autonomy strategy with plans to introduce Level 3, “eyes-off” highway driving by 2028 on its new Universal Electric Vehicle platform, starting with an affordable $30,000 electric pickup. Built on in-house technology, lidar, and a new computing system, the goal is to evolve beyond BlueCruise and make advanced autonomy more accessible once regulatory approvals come through.
Alongside automation, Ford is also leaning into artificial intelligence. The company will roll out a new AI assistant through Ford and Lincoln mobile apps, followed by full in-vehicle integration starting in 2027, strengthening its push into next-generation mobility technology.
Ford’s Strong Liquidity & Dividend Yield
Ford ended the third quarter of 2025 with roughly $54 billion in liquidity, including $33 billion in cash. Ford’s superior liquidity profile provides a solid foundation. It also has a high dividend yield of more than 4. The company targets distributions of 40-50% of FCF going forward, demonstrating its commitment to shareholder return. This high yield provides some buffer against the stock’s volatility and could entice those seeking steady income amid uncertain market conditions.

Despite broader auto market uncertainties in 2026, Ford appears well-positioned with its popular vehicle offerings, disciplined EV recalibration, expanding hybrid mix, and continued strength in Ford Pro. Strategic initiatives in autonomy, AI integration, and entry into battery energy storage broaden long-term growth avenues while supporting margin improvement. Strong liquidity and an appealing dividend yield further enhance shareholder value.

Ford Stock Up 40% in a Year & Still Looks Cheap: Should You Buy?

For an investor, the U.S. is one of the best places to be. You have easy access to some of the best companies in the world trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Nasdaq and an enormous list of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), bonds, options, commodities, and more to choose from. But there are almost 54,000 publicly traded companies around the world. And you're really missing out on some incredible returns if you're not taking advantage of what the rest of planet Earth has to offer.
Now, buying international stocks can be a serious headache. There are several companies, mostly from larger economies like China, Germany, or Japan, that trade on the American market as American depositary receipts (ADRs) or global depository receipts (GDRs).

But for companies that don't offer those, you're stuck establishing a brokerage account in another country, managing time differences, dealing with language barriers, and, of course, you're going to be dealing with a whole different tax code. So, what's an investor to do?
The answer is ETFs.
Each one tracks a basket of stocks like a mutual fund, and buying a share gets you access to the entire list of its holdings. Some ETFs track the top stocks in other countries, which would be a serious pain to gain exposure to otherwise. Following are two of the best performers during the past year that you should take a look at.
Give your portfolio a little Seoul
South Korea is one of the great economic success stories of the past century. After decades of Japanese occupation and a war that tore the once-united Korea in two and left the Korean Peninsula in ruins, South Korea arose as one of the world's most dynamic economies.
With a population of just 51.6 million, the country ranks as the world's 14th-largest economy. Korean cuisine, music, and film have all gained international recognition in the past few decades, and the country boasts globally known brands such as:
Samsung (OTC: SSNL.F), the second-largest chip manufacturer in the world and a leading electronics brand
Hyundai Motor, the third-largest auto manufacturer by volume, behind only Toyota Motor (NYSE: TM) and Volkswagen (OTC: VWAGY)
And the iShares MSCI South Korea ETF (NYSEMKT: EWY) is one of the best-performing country ETFs on the market in the long term. It holds all three of the companies I just mentioned and 87 more of South Korea's best companies. And during the past three years, the ETF has averaged a 23% return, more than double the S&P 500's average. The one-year return for 2025 was 98%, and this year, so far, the ETF is up 11%. Give this one a look if you want some diversification into Asian markets for your portfolio.
Poland isn't lost; it's leading the way
From one of the 20th century's great economic success stories to one that's shaping up to be the 21st century's -- Poland, since gaining its freedom from the Soviet Union, has been one of the most consistent and fastest-growing economies in Europe and the world.
Since 1992, the first full year of Polish independence, the country's economy has had only one year of negative gross domestic product (GDP) growth. That was in 2020, and it fell by only 2%, while global GDP fell almost 3%. The next year, Poland's GDP grew nearly 7%, while Germany's grew only 3.9%.
What's more, while its businesses are relatively young, Polish brands have already begun gaining international recognition.
CD Projekt Red has become a household name in the video game industry worldwide after the success of its The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077. Allegro is a major European e-commerce company that alone is responsible for 1% of Poland's GDP. And Orlen is a serious contender in European energy markets and Poland's largest company by market cap, at $31.8 billion.
Modern Warsaw is a dynamic and innovative place, and your best bet to gain access to it is the iShares MSCI Poland ETF (NYSEMKT: EPOL), which holds all the companies I mentioned and 37 more of Poland's most notable businesses.
So far this year, it's up just shy of 3%, and in 2025, it returned 76%, which was less than the South Korea ETF. However, during the past three years, this ETF's average return was 37%, almost quadruple the S&P 500's average.
The Polish national anthem begins with the line "Poland is not yet lost," a reference to the tumult the country experienced during the past two centuries. Well, modern Poland certainly isn't lost -- it's leading the rest of Europe.
So, if you're in the market for some international portfolio diversification, the two I've mentioned here have an average return of 23% and 37%, respectively, during the past three years. Average the two out, and that's 30%.
And based on how they performed in 2025, I don't think they'll have a problem maintaining that growth.

Toyota Motor’s shares have outperformed the Zacks Automotive - Foreign industry over the past six months (+29.3% vs. +16.7%). The surge in hybrid adoption is boosting the company’s sales. The RAV4 model, with hybrid variants that make up about half of the company’s sales, is America's top-selling SUV. Upbeat outlook for fiscal 2026 sales sparks optimism.
Toyota’s cost optimization efforts are expected to be a tailwind to operating income in fiscal 2026. Investor-friendly moves also spark optimism. However, the company’s operating income is expected to be affected by material prices, foreign exchange rates and tariffs imposed by the U.S. government on vehicle and vehicle parts imports, along with investment in human resources and growth areas in fiscal 2026.
Capital expenditure for fiscal 2026 is expected to flare up, which could put pressure on near-term cash flows. The Zacks analyst recommends caution on the stock now.

Shares of Amphenol have gained +45.3% over the past six months against the Zacks Electronics - Connectors industry’s gain of +45.4%. The company benefits from a diversified business model that lowers the volatility of individual end markets and geographies. Its strong portfolio of solutions, including high-technology interconnect products, is a key catalyst. Expanding spending on both current and next-generation defense technologies bodes well for APH’s top-line growth.
Apart from Defense, APH’s prospects ride on strong demand for its solutions across Commercial Air, Industrial, and IT Datacom. Strong demand for high-speed and power interconnect products, which are critical components in next-gen IT systems, creates long term growth opportunities.
APH expects fourth-quarter 2025 earnings to grow between 62% and 65% year over year. Revenues are anticipated to grow in the 39-41% range. However, macroeconomic uncertainty and stiff competition are major concerns.

Oil-Dri Corporation of America’s shares have outperformed the Zacks Chemical - Diversified industry over the past year (+25.5% vs. -5.7%). This microcap company with a market capitalization of $754.64 million offers an attractive long-term investment underpinned by differentiated growth platforms and a strong balance sheet.
Oil-Dri Corporation of America’s fluids purification business is positioned to benefit from structural demand tied to renewable diesel, supported by proprietary products and potential upside from higher EPA RIN volumes and new plant startups in the back half of FY26. Shares of Global Self Storage have gained +6.6% over the past year against the Zacks REIT and Equity Trust - Other industry’s gain of +10.7%. This microcap company with a market capitalization of $57.71 million targets underserved secondary and tertiary U.S. markets with high zoning barriers and limited new supply, insulating it from major MSA oversupply.
The portfolio delivers strong occupancy and tenant retention, aided by technology-enabled operations and an asset-light third-party management platform.
