The company develops, scales complex System-on-a-Chip architectures, integrating analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing functionality. It offers a portfolio of Ethernet solutions, including controllers, network adapters, physical transceivers, and switches; single or multiple core processors; custom application specific integrated circuits; and System-on-a-Chip solutions. The company also provides electro-optical products, including pulse amplitude modulations, coherent digital signal processors, laser drivers, trans-impedance amplifiers, silicon photonics, and data center interconnect solutions; fibre channel products comprising host bus adapters and controllers; single or multiple core processors; storage controllers for hard disk drives and solid-state-drives; and host system interfaces, including serial attached SCSI, serial advanced technology attachment, peripheral component interconnect express, non-volatile memory express (NVMe), and NVMe over fabrics. It has operations in the United States, Argentina, China, India, Israel, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Marvell stock banks another solid bullish week
Marvell stock rocketed higher in Monday's trading on the heels of news that the company is being added to the S&P 500 index. Inclusion in the index means that exchange traded funds (ETFs) that track the index will have to buy Marvell stock, which should create positive pricing pressure.
On June 11, Marvell announced that it had appointed Dan Durn as its new CFO. Durn had previously worked at Adobe. Along with the CFO news, the company reiterated its previously issued guidance for the current fiscal quarter.
Positive analyst coverage and Iran war news
On Friday, B. Riley published new coverage on Marvell -- reiterating a buy rating on the stock and raising its one-year price target from $240 per share to $345 per share. Craig Ellis, the firm's lead analyst on the stock, said he saw Marvell's deepening partnership with Nvidia, leadership changes, and inclusion in the S&P 500 index as bullish catalysts.
In addition to bullish analyst coverage, Marvell and many other artificial intelligence stocks saw strong valuation gains on Friday thanks to news that the U.S. and Iran were on the verge of agreeing to the terms of a basic peace deal. If the war draws to a close, it could be a significant positive catalyst for Marvell and other growth stocks.

This steadiness raises two questions: When was the last time investors saw Nvidia's forward multiple behave this way and what happened next?
Nvidia's valuation profile echoes its pre-AI boom
Per the chart below, investors can see that Nvidia's forward P/E has not traded inside a comparable, compressed band since before the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution. Prior to the outburst of generative AI models back in late 2022, the market largely viewed Nvidia as a company primarily focused on graphics and gaming with a data center services side hustle.
Once ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, and a handful of other frontier models arrived, demand for accelerated computing exploded. As it turns out, Nvidia's first-mover advantage in designing graphics processing units (GPUs) was uniquely positioned for this moment. Hence, the company's revenue and earnings rose dramatically virtually overnight. Subsequently, Nvidia's forward earnings valuation multiple broke out and spent the next few years oscillating at levels frequently above 40.
The current range represents a reversion to a pre-AI boom rhythm. Against this backdrop, the current sideways trading seen in Nvidia is the first real extended stretch of valuation stability since the world began pricing the company as the indispensable king of AI infrastructure build-outs.
Don't let valuation distract you from Nvidia's guidance
Nvidia's valuation profile looks even more striking when set against the company's actual operating momentum. During the fiscal 2027 first quarter (ended April 26,2026), revenue from Nvidia's data center segment surged 92% year over year, reaching $75 billion. Management forecasted total revenue to be $91 billion next quarter, plus or minus 2%. This represents an acceleration quarter over quarter and a staggering 95% year-over-year growth.
To me, a forward earnings multiple stuck around 22 does not necessarily signal skepticism about Nvidia's near-term earnings power. Instead, I think it reflects a situation whereby the market has already baked in meaningful growth and is no longer willing to pay the premium multiples witnessed throughout 2023 to 2025.
In other words, range-bound valuation multiples can be normal when investors simply expect continued strong top- and bottom-line expansion. These dynamics are actually quite common for mature, high-growth technology platforms.
Nvidia is positioned for another leg of valuation expansion
After Nvidia's forward P/E dropped sharply to about 18 earlier this year, the multiple has more recently stabilized and begun to edge modestly higher within a tight range. This could suggest that early stages of valuation expansion are in the works. Perhaps the clearest reason why is Nvidia's growing number of strategic partnerships. These are the clearest catalysts for Nvidia's next leg up.
The company has invested billions of dollars in Nokia, Coherent, Lumentum, and Marvell Technology to fortify high-speed optical interconnects and advanced networking. These technologies are becoming increasingly important as hyperscalers allocate capital expenditure (capex) beyond GPU procurement and build more sophisticated infrastructure stacks within AI factories. Moreover, these relationships unlock numerous opportunities for Nvidia beyond data centers -- opening the door to scalable edge computing, robotics platforms, and autonomous vehicle systems.
These moves quietly broaden Nvidia's total addressable market (TAM) beyond chips. I think the company has started laying the groundwork to justify higher valuation multiples once execution catches up with these new opportunities. History suggests that if Nvidia's strong guidance is delivered, the current range-bound phase should turn out to be nothing more than a temporary consolidation before the next chapter of significant valuation rerating unfolds.

He is well-connected in the chip industry and knows which companies have great products and are destined for success. His recent prediction is that Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL) will be the next $1 trillion company.
That's no small bet, as Marvell is currently a $220 billion company. So, if Huang is right, he's basically telling investors about a stock that can nearly 5x. That's a great gain and is well worth looking into, but what makes Marvell so special?

Marvell and Nvidia are frenemies
The one thing you have to give Huang credit for is that he's propping up a company that Nvidia is outright competing against in one area, yet supporting in another. Marvell has many products, but the ones that get investors most excited are its application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and its high-speed networking chips.
On the ASIC front, Marvell helps Amazon design its custom AI chips for Amazon Web Services, which is an outright competitor to Nvidia's GPUs. However, that's not where Huang is focused.
Instead, Huang recognizes Marvell's networking chips as best-in-class and announced a partnership with Nvidia to ensure that Marvell and Nvidia's technology are compatible with each other. This secures Nvidia's compatibility in future data centers as Marvell's connectivity infrastructure coexists alongside Nvidia's computing products.
This shows that the AI arms race isn't a winner-take-all event. Instead, there will be several companies that are winners, allowing investors to profit from all sorts of companies. But Marvell still has a way to go before reaching the $1 trillion club. For Marvell to join the $1 trillion club, it needs a stock price of $1,140. If we assign an arbitrary 30 times earnings valuation as a reasonable price tag for a big tech stock involved in the AI build-out, then Marvell would need to generate earnings per share of $38. For its current fiscal year (FY) 2027 (ending January 2027), Wall Street estimates it will generate about $4.05 in EPS.
So, Marvel must undergo some major growth before it reaches the $1 trillion level at a reasonable valuation. We'll see how Huang's projection pans out, but for Marvell to be "the next" $1 trillion company is likely not happening anytime soon. However, it could reach that point someday if it can continue partnering with leading AI companies and deliver solid results over the long term.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says This Will Be the Next $1 Trillion Company

Poet Technologies (NASDAQ: POET) stock posted a round of big gains in Friday's trading, surging 11.5% higher in the daily session. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 closed out the day up 0.5%.
Following recent valuation pressures, Poet stock enjoyed a day of bounce-back trading in today's session. After a surge in bearish sentiment earlier in the week, investors adopted more bullish positioning today in response to Iran war news and SpaceX's successful initial public offering (IPO). While there wasn't any specific business news for Poet today, positive momentum for the broader market helped lift the stock -- and it closed out the day with a double-digit gain.

Is Poet stock a buy right now?
After today's valuation surge, Poet stock is up roughly 97% across 2026's trading. On the other hand, the company's share price is still down roughly 39% from its 52-week high. While the company has benefited from a broadly bullish backdrop for semiconductor and photonics stocks, its share price has also been highly volatile.
Even though Poet has the potential to deliver explosive returns if the business sees a successful ramp for its product commercialization, I don't think that the risk-reward profile stands out as particularly attractive compared to other players in the photonics space.
The loss of the company's contract with Marvell earlier this year remains a red flag for me, and the company's subsequent announcement of its new contract with Lumilens comes with too much uncertainty to offset the loss of a more established and reliable customer in the space. Along with heavy dilution through new stock offerings, I think the company's uncertain sales outlook makes the stock unappealing right now.

Poet Technologies Skyrocketed Today -- Is the Stock a Buy Right Now?

Shares of Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE) declined on Friday after the creativity software provider's financial results failed to offset investors' concerns regarding a leadership exodus and competitive pressures.

Demand for AI-powered tools is rising
Adobe's revenue rose 13% year over year to $6.62 billion in its fiscal second quarter, which ended on May 29.
CEO Shantanu Narayen said this growth was fueled by "strong AI-driven demand." Adobe's "AI-first" annualized recurring revenue (ARR) tripled to more than $500 million.
"There is an unprecedented demand across additional surfaces for the combination of content consumption and content creation," Narayen said during a conference call with analysts.
All told, Adobe's adjusted net income climbed 10.5% to $2.4 billion. Its adjusted earnings per share, boosted by stock buybacks, jumped nearly 18% to $5.96.
These results prompted Adobe to lift its full-year sales and profit outlook. Management now expects revenue of roughly $26.55 billion and adjusted earnings of $24.35 to $24.45 per share.
Leadership turnover and intensifying competition
Yet investors weren't thrilled to hear that chief financial officer Dan Durn was leaving for greener pastures at semiconductor giant Marvell Technology. Durn's departure comes only three months after Narayen announced that he would step down as CEO once a successor is found.
Seeing two of its top executives relinquish their positions in such a short period is a red flag for investors who were already concerned about Adobe's ability to fend off new AI-powered competitors.
Rivals like Blackmagic Design, which makes the popular video editing and color grading software DaVinci Resolve, have gained market share due in part to their freemium business models. New users can access this software for free and then pay for more advanced features if needed.
In response to these threats, Adobe said it would also launch a freemium offering. But while this should help boost its new-user acquisition efforts, it will likely pressure Adobe's near-term profits.

Marvell Strengthens Role in AI Infrastructure Growth
Marvell recently increased its revenue growth outlook for 2027 and 2028, showcasing strong customer demand for its products and an improved revenue visibility. At the midpoint of its guidance, Marvell expects revenues of about $2.7 billion for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, representing 35% year-over-year growth, according to investor.marvell.com.
Marvell's first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenues of $2.418 billion already exceeded expectations, driven mostly by strong demand in AI-related infrastructure. The revenue expansion is being driven by its growing presence in AI networking. The company's networking and connectivity chips power data centers, enabling thousands of interconnected processors to exchange data rapidly and efficiently. This is why NVIDIA Corporation's CEO, Jensen Huang, sees Marvell as a "trillion-dollar company" in the making.
In the first quarter of fiscal 2027, Marvell generated a record $638.8 million in operating cash flow, strengthening its ability to invest more in research and development and support further growth. As a result, the company's expected earnings growth rate for the current and next fiscal year are 41.2% and 51.6%, respectively. Its shares have already soared 256.7% over the past year.
Sandisk Sees Strong Growth Driven by AI Data Center Demand
Sandisk is expected to gain from strong demand for its memory products in AI-powered data centers supported by current supply constraints. Its robust pricing power across its product portfolio is likely to further strengthen its top-line performance.
The company projects $7.75 billion to $8.25 billion in revenues for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2026, according to investor.sandisk.com. The company's focus on high-value customers in the expanding data center market helped Sandisk report revenues of $5.95 billion in the fiscal third quarter, up 97% sequentially and above its own guidance.
Sandisk further projects non-GAAP earnings per share of $30 to $33 for the fiscal fourth quarter, up from $23.41 in the fiscal third quarter, indicating sustained sequential growth momentum. Moreover, Sandisk's strategic New Business Model agreements are expected to strengthen customer retention and boost revenue growth and profitability. Consequently, the company's likely earnings growth rate for the current and next fiscal year are 2096.7% and 177.3%, respectively. Its stock has already surged 3849.2% over the past year.

A big optical opportunity
Marvell shares have been on a tear this year, tripling even after a pullback. The name got a lot of attention earlier this month when Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang called it the next trillion-dollar company, sending its shares up more than 32% in a single day.
The excitement about Marvell largely stems from its connectivity business, where it is a leader in optical interconnects. Data centers have long been connected with copper wires, but as artificial intelligence (AI) chip clusters grow and servers become more complex, copper wires can't keep up with the required speed. Copper wire also becomes too bulky and generates too much heat.
The solution is optical interconnects, which let high-bandwidth data transfer over longer distances with lower latency and less power consumption.
Marvell is a leader in optical DSPs (Digital Signal Processors), chips that convert electrical signals from a graphics processing unit (GPU) into optical pulses. The company has become a close partner with Nvidia, providing optical and custom connectivity capabilities for its NVLink Fusion ecosystem.
As Nvidia and others continue to progress their chip architecture, they also need more optical bandwidth. At the same time, as hyperscalers build out massive, disaggregated clusters to handle different AI tasks, connectivity becomes even more important. Last quarter, Marvell upped its interconnect revenue projections, now expecting it to climb 70% this year.
In addition to its optical business, Marvell is also a major player in the ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) market behind leader Broadcom. Marvell supplies some of the IP for Amazon's Trainium chips and is also in Microsoft's new Maia AI accelerators. This business is growing quickly, although there is some concern that Marvell has lost its lead role with Trainium chips to Taiwanese company AIchip.
While Marvell has a nice optical opportunity in front of it, the stock looks pricey, trading at a 64 times forward P/E. As such, I'd wait for the stock to pull back a bit further before looking to jump in.
