Considering such, and in correlation with a trend of very positive earnings estimate revisions, Micron stock sports a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) and lands the Bull of the Day.
Micron’s AI Infrastructure Advantage
Attributing to its AI infrastructure dominance, Micron is a key supplier for Nvidia’s Blackwell GB200 and AMD’ Instinct MI350 GPUs, which require massive memory bandwidth.
More intriguing, and leading to Micron’s AI Infrastructure advantage, is its pricing power as HBM products are complex to manufacture and wafer-intensive, making supply tight. Notably, Micron has sold out its HBM output for 2025 and is seeing strong demand into 2026, with the scarcity boosting its margins.
Micron’s Stellar Growth
Based on Zacks' estimates, Micron’s total sales are now expected to spike 47% in fiscal 2025 to $36.91 billion compared to $25.11 billion last year. Plus, FY26 sales are projected to climb another 34% to $49.43 billion.
Even more captivating is Micron’s increased profitability, with annual earnings currently slated to skyrocket over 500% this year to $8.04 per share versus EPS of $1.30 in 2024. Better still, FY26 EPS is forecasted to pop another 62% to $13.05.
Leading to bullish sentiment for Micron stock is that FY25 and FY26 EPS estimates have soared 16% and 23% over the last 60 days, respectively, as shown below.
Micron’s Attractive Valuation & Analyst Upgrades
Considering the high premiums AI-infrastructure related stocks are commanding, MU shares still trade at a very reasonable 14.5X forward earnings multiple and at 3.5X forward sales, which are both significant discounts to the S&P 500’s averages.
The culmination of Micron’s execution, along with its reasonable valuation, has led to analysts raising their price targets for MU. It’s noteworthy that JPMorgan raised its price target for MU from $165 to $185, citing stronger DRAM (Dynamic Random-Access Memory) pricing.
Meanwhile, other firms like Mizuho and Needham have remained bullish on Micron’s HBM upside. At the moment, the Average Zacks Price Target of $152.42 suggests 30% upside in Micron stock, which is roughly on par with its all-time high.
Bottom Line
Dominating the AI memory space, now appears to be an ideal time to invest in Micron Technology stock, with MU shaping up to be a viable investment for 2025 and beyond.
This month's rebound in Albany International stock could be short-lived, and it may be time to fade the recent rally as the trend of declining earnings estimate revisions suggests that the textiles and materials processing company is not out of the woods yet after facing a number of headwinds in recent years.
Although AIN has spiked +15% in August, Albany International stock is still down 20% year to date and has a grizzly -32% performance in the last three years.
Albany International also appears to be burning through cash at a very fast rate, which is concerning for its operational and financial outlook as well.
Albany International’s Headwinds
Most recently missing its Q2 EPS expectations by 22% in late July, Albany International has raised concerns about its operational efficiency and forecasting accuracy as rising costs and strategic investments have squeezed profit margins, especially in its engineered composites segment. The issue here is that Albany International is also competing in a high-stakes arena of aerospace and advanced materials manufacturing with specialized defense companies such as Ducommun and Hexcel Corporation.
Furthermore, supply chain disruptions have taken a toll on the company’s operations, limiting production as a supplier of fabric for paper and industrial applications and ultimately impacting delivery timelines.
Declining EPS Revisions & Cash Burn
Taking away excitement for a continued rebound in Albany International stock is that fiscal 2025 and FY26 EPS estimates have trended lower in the last 60 days, dipping nearly 2% and 1.6%, respectively.
What may be most concerning to investors is that Albany International has burned through more than half of its liquidity in the last five years, with its cash & equivalents dropping from over $300 million in 2021 to $107 million at the end of Q2 2025.
Conclusion & Final Thoughts
For now, it may certainly be best to fade the recent rally or avoid Albany International’s stock. Addressing the elephant in the room, Albany International’s growth is respectable, but nothing to necessarily brag about for a company that investors are paying over $60 a share for.
To that point, Albany International has struggled to climb past annual sales of $1 billion or produce full-year EPS of over $4.00, and this is after a drop from a 52-week high of over $90 a share, which may have raised questions about the company’s valuation outside of its operational efficiency.

Two Months Into Tesla's Robotaxi Launch: Where Does It Stand Now?

The Chinese tech industry giant reported its second-quarter results that morning.
It posted declines in both revenue and adjusted profitability.
Veteran Chinese tech giant Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU) looked rather tired to equity investors on Wednesday. They didn't seem wowed by the company's latest earnings release and expressed this by collectively trading their American depositary shares (ADS) down by almost 3%. This was a steeper fall than the 0.2% endured by the bellwether S&P 500 index.
Top- and bottom-line slides
Baidu's second-quarter results, published well before market open that day, revealed that the company's revenue slumped by 4% year over year to 32.7 billion yuan ($4.55 billion). That was slightly below the consensus analyst estimate of 32.9 billion yuan ($4.58 billion).

The decline and miss might have been more pronounced had it not been for the company's artificial intelligence (AI)-boosted offerings. Baidu quoted CEO Robin Li as saying that its AI Cloud business "continued to deliver robust and healthy revenue growth, supported by our strengthening full-stack AI capabilities and comprehensive end-to-end AI products and solutions."
It didn't help push the bottom line higher, however, as non-GAAP (adjusted) net income fell by 35% to just under 4.8 billion yuan ($668 million). On a per-ADS basis, the company's profitability was 13.58 yuan ($1.89). On the bright side, this was a bit higher than the average analyst estimate of 13.33 yuan ($1.86) per ADS.
Motoring into a better future?
In its earnings release, Baidu pointed to AI as a potential engine of growth. On the subject of engines, it also clearly has high hopes for the robotaxis coming from its mobility unit, Apollo Go. It said that it is a leading company in robotaxi markets with both left- and right-hand drive regimes.

SoundHound AI Inc. SOUN — the conversational and agentic artificial intelligence (AI) specialist — reported impressive second-quarter 2025 earnings results. SOUN reported quarterly adjusted loss of $0.03 per share, narrower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of $0.06. This also compares to a loss of $0.11 per share a year ago. Quarterly revenues of $42.7 million were up 217% year over year, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $33 million.
SoundHound AI reported second-quarter earnings results on Aug. 7 after the closing bell. On Aug. 8, its stock priced soared 26.4%. Despite this rally, the stock is a major laggard this year. Navigating the Robotaxi Revolution: Uber, Lyft, EPS Preview

The undisputed global leader of Internet search engine and artificial intelligence-powered cloud giant Alphabet Inc. GOOGL came up with quarterly adjusted earnings of $2.31 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.15 per share. The company posted quarterly revenues of $81.72 billion, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 2.82%.
Alphabet is significantly emphasizing its Ai-capabilities to boost its search engine advertising business and cloud computing business. Alphabet raised its 2025 capital expenditure target to $85 billion from the $75 billion projected earlier.
CEO Sundar Pichai said. “Our AI infrastructure investments are crucial to meeting the growth in demand from cloud customers.” Pichai also said, “We are seeing significant demand for our comprehensive AI product portfolio.” CFO Anat Ashkenazi said capital expenditures will rise yet again next year.

Google’s AI-powered Search features are driving deeper engagement, with AI Mode offering advanced reasoning and multimodal responses. Users are generating queries twice as long as those in traditional searches. The launch of AI Mode in the United States and India — where it currently has more than 100 million monthly active users — is expected to drive further growth.
AI-Powered Cloud Computing Business
Google Cloud has solidified its position as the third-largest provider in the highly competitive cloud infrastructure market against Amazon.com Inc.’s AMZN cloud arm, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft’s Azure.
GOOGL is cashing in on the increasing demand for Large Language Models with its most powerful AI model called Gemini. Google Bard and Search Generative Experience are powered by Gemini Pro to deliver an enhanced user experience. Google Cloud offers Duet AI, which provides pre-packaged AI agents that assist developers in writing, testing, documenting and operating software.
GOOGL launched Gemma 3, a collection of lightweight, state-of-the-art open models that can run on a single GPU or Tensor Processing Unit (TPU). At its Cloud Next 2025 conference in Las Vegas, Alphabet unveiled Ironwood, its seventh-generation TPU, expected to be available later this year.
Google Cloud unveiled its Cloud Wide Area Network, giving enterprises access to its private global fiber network. Alphabet also showcased Willow, its new quantum chip while on the AI model front, Alphabet launched Gemini 2.5, its most advanced reasoning model, alongside Gemini 2.5 Flash, a low-latency, cost-efficient version tailored for developers.
Product Diversification
Alphabet’s self-driving business — Waymo — has recently gathered significant pace. GOOGL is scaling up this business, providing around 250,000 rides per week at present. Alphabet is also looking for opportunities to introduce this service to several new cities.
As per Pichai, “The team is testing across more than 10 cities this year, including New York and Philadelphia. We hope to serve riders in all 10 in the future.” Waymo is using GOOGL’s cloud computing, AI infrastructure and mapping data to serve customers.

Alphabet’s GOOGL second-quarter 2025 results, scheduled to be released on July 23, are expected to benefit from solid momentum in Search, Cloud, and advertising businesses.

GOOGL’s AI Push to Boost Search Business
Alphabet’s initiatives to deploy artificial intelligence (AI) in search are noteworthy. The integration of Generative AI (Gen AI) technology into the search engine has been benefiting Google Search. AI-powered Circle to Search is now available on more than 300 million Android devices, with people using it to shop, translate text, and learn more about the world around them. AI Mode in Search is now available in the United States.
AI Overviews is driving a more than 10% increase in usage of Google for queries that support AI Overviews in Google’s biggest markets, like India and the United States. The addition of AI mode expands AI Overview’s advanced reasoning, thinking and multimodal capabilities. Alphabet expanded AI Overviews in Google Search to new countries during the to-be-reported quarter, which is now available in more than 200 countries and territories and in more than 40 languages. AI Overviews now support Arabic, Chinese, Malay, Urdu and more.
The AI infusion bodes well for Alphabet’s Search business which is facing stiff competition from Microsoft MSFT Bing, YANDEX, Yahoo!, DuckDuckGo and Baidu BIDU apart from OpenAI’s ChatGPT. According to statcounter.com, Google had market share of 89.54% for the June 2024-June 2025 timeframe, trailed by Microsoft Bing’s 3.95%, YANDEX’s 2.45%, Yahoo!’s 1.37%, DuckDuckGo’s 0.86% and Baidu’s 0.73%.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Search and other revenues is currently pegged at $52.4 billion, suggesting 8% growth over the figure reported in the year-ago quarter.
Google Cloud Revenues to Grow Y/Y
Alphabet has been growing rapidly in the booming cloud-computing market. Google Cloud has solidified its position as the third-largest provider in the highly competitive cloud infrastructure market against the likes of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
In Cloud, Alphabet is benefiting from its partnership with NVIDIA NVDA. Google Cloud was the first cloud provider to offer NVIDIA’s B200 and GB200 Blackwell GPUs and will be offering its next-generation Vera Rubin GPUs. The introduction of 2.5 flash, Imagen 3 and Veo 2 are noteworthy developments.
Google Cloud is becoming a preferred choice for enterprises planning to deploy AI agents thanks to the Agent Development Kit and a low-code tool offering Agent Designer. The addition of Wiz to Google Cloud will boost competitive prowess against the likes of Amazon and Microsoft in the cloud computing space.
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Cloud revenues is currently pegged at $13.04 billion, suggesting 26% growth over the figure reported in the year-ago quarter.
