Robinhood Gets In-Principle Approval From MAS for Singapore Launch

(RTTNews) - Apollo Global Management, Inc. (APO) on Monday said Apollo-managed funds have agreed to acquire the Interiors Business Group of Forvia SE in a carve-out transaction.
The Interiors Business is a supplier of automotive interior systems, including instrument panels, door panels, and center consoles, serving global OEMs with a manufacturing and engineering footprint across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Apollo said the acquisition builds on its experience in the automotive sector, with its current portfolio—including Tenneco, TI Automotive, and Panasonic Automotive—generating about $28 billion in annual revenue.
The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2026.
"Drawing upon Apollos extensive investment experience in the automotive sector and in executing complex carve outs, we are a strong partner to reinforce the company's leadership position globally. We look forward to supporting the transition to an independent company with a strong strategic focus and foundation for long-term growth," said Claudia Scarico, Private Equity Partner at Apollo.

For starters, it's a real estate investment trust (REIT) -- a company that owns lots of real estate, leasing it to tenants. REITs are required by law to distribute at least 90% of their taxable earnings as dividends, so they tend to be generous dividend payers. Realty Income's dividend yield was recently a fat 5%. On top of that, the company has been paying its dividends for more than 650 consecutive months and has upped its payout 134 times in 32 years.
With a 5% dividend yield, a $10,000 investment today will generate $500 in annual income -- and that payout will most likely grow over time. If it grows by 4% annually, you're looking at about $740 in annual income in just 10 years.
Interestingly, while most dividend payers pay quarterly, this one pays monthly. That's not necessarily a big deal, but if, say, you're in retirement and relying on dividend income for much of your daily needs, it can be handy to have it coming in every month, along with your Social Security benefits.
Realty Income's business model is appealing, too: It uses "triple-net leases," which require its tenants to cover real estate taxes, property insurance, and operating expenses. In exchange, its tenants generally receive modest annual rent increases, often around 1%.
The company boasts a total compound annual return of 13.3% since it was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 1994, and a 4.2% compound annual dividend growth rate since then, too. It has around 15,500 properties leased to tenants, and its top tenants include companies such as 7-Eleven, Dollar General, Walgreens, Home Depot, and FedEx.
While the company is able to grow organically, buying more properties with the income it generates, it's also been spurring more growth via more creative means. For example, it has inked a $1 billion partnership with alternative investment manager Apollo Global Management -- which will provide funding to buy more properties. It has other joint ventures, as well, and may keep adding more.
This should be a quite attractive portfolio candidate for any long-term investors seeking income. (Remember that it's not just retirees who can use the income. Younger investors can always redeploy that money into more stock!) Give it some consideration -- and perhaps consider some other compelling dividend payers, too.

Franklin Gears Up to Report Q2 Earnings: Here's What You Should Know

(RTTNews) - Apollo Global Management, Inc.(APO) said on Thursday that Apollo-managed funds have agreed to buy a 40% stake in Pembina Gas Infrastructure Inc., a Canadian gas processor, from the funds managed by KKR & Co. Inc.(KKR).
The transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2026. Post transaction, Pembina Pipeline Corporation (PBA, PPL.TO, PPL-PFA.TO), which operates and manages Pembina Gas facilities, will maintain its 60% stake in the company, and the existing governance structure will remain unchanged.
Scott Browning, Partner at Apollo, said: "PGI is a premier Canadian platform strategically situated at the inlet of the Global Industrial Renaissance, with assets supporting industrial end markets that underpin the energy security of North American economies. We see a compelling opportunity to grow the business alongside these tailwinds."
Since its formation as a joint venture between Pembina and KKR in 2022, Pembina Gas has a combined processing capacity of around five billion cubic feet per day.
Pembina Gas currently operates 23 gas processing plants, around 3,900 kilometers of gathering pipelines and approximately 330,000 barrels per day of NGL extraction capacity.

Shares of Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) rose sharply this past week after the chip designer moved to strengthen its foundry network.
The popular tech stock was up nearly 17%, according to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Wall Street likes this deal
Intel reached an agreement with Apollo Global Management (NYSE: APO) to repurchase a 49% stake in its Fab 34 site in Ireland for $14.2 billion. The facility produces a high volume of Intel's Xeon 6 and Core Ultra processors, which power data center servers and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled personal computers.
Intel says the acquisition will begin to boost its per-share profits by 2027. Analysts say the deal is a sign of the company's strengthening financial profile and forthcoming customer wins.
UBS analyst Timothy Arcuri, for one, believes that Intel wouldn't have agreed to buy back Apollo's stake if it didn't expect to gain new foundry customers.
For another, J.Gold Associates analyst Jack Gold views the acquisition as evidence that "the market is buying Intel products at scale."
And Gil Luria, head of technology research at D.A. Davidson, expects the deal to drive Wall Street to lift its earnings projections for Intel.
A bullish signal
Fab 34 is central to Intel's AI-driven expansion plans. Management's decision to buy the facility outright reflects its confidence in the semiconductor leader's manufacturing prospects. And investors are understandably excited about the implications for further share price appreciation.
