RTX Corporation, an aerospace and defense company, provides systems and services for the commercial, military, and government customers in the United States and internationally. It operates through three segments: Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon. The Collins Aerospace Systems segment offers aerospace and defense products, and aftermarket service solutions for civil and military aircraft manufacturers and commercial airlines, as well as regional, business, and general aviation, defense, and commercial space operations. This segment also designs, produces, and supports cabin interior, including oxygen systems, food and beverage preparation, storage and galley systems, and lavatory and wastewater management systems; battlespace, test and training range systems, crew escape systems, and simulation and training solutions; information management services; and aftermarket services that include spare parts, overhaul and repair, engineering and technical support, training and fleet management solutions, and asset and information management services. Its Pratt & Whitney segment supplies aircraft engines for commercial, military, business jet, and general aviation customers; and produces, sells, and services military and commercial auxiliary power units. The Raytheon segment provides defensive and offensive threat detection, tracking, and mitigation capabilities for U.S., foreign government, and commercial customers. The company was formerly known as Raytheon Technologies Corporation and changed its name to RTX Corporation in July 2023. RTX Corporation was incorporated in 1934 and is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.

L3Harris Secures VAMPIRE Order to Strengthen Counter-Drone Defense

GE Aerospace GE is witnessing strong momentum in its Defense & Propulsion Technologies segment, supported by a solid pipeline of orders. Growing popularity for the company’s propulsion & additive technologies, critical aircraft systems and aftermarket services in the defense sector is driving the segment’s performance.
The company recently secured a deal from Boeing Defence UK for the extension of support services for T700-GE-T701D engines. The contract will involve GE to provide logistics management, repair, maintenance and technical support services for these turboshaft engines that run the Apache AH-64E fleet of the British Army. How Is RTX Expanding Missile Defense Production Capacity for Growth?

(RTTNews) - Raytheon, an RTX Corp. (RTX) business, announced Monday it is investing $100 million to expand its Portsmouth, Rhode Island-based facility, which has been operating for more than 60 years. The facility supports undersea technology, combat systems and radars.
The expansion will accelerate Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) testing by increasing capacity and boost Patriot GEM-T subcomponent production to meet growing global demand.
This investment comes eight months after the company's $53 million investment to expand its Radar Production Facility in Andover, Massachusetts. LTAMDS is a radar designed to defeat advanced threats, including hypersonic weapons.
Raytheon is under contract for multiple LTAMDS radars for the U.S. Army and Poland. The program also recently completed its ninth successful flight test, using the radar's multiple arrays to track and intercept a surrogate target.
The Patriot Advanced Capability-2 (PAC-2) Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical (GEM-T) —designed for intercepting all types of airborne threats, including tactical ballistic missiles —is a primary effector for the combat-proven Patriot air and missile defense system.

Can Archer Aviation's Strong Liquidity Position Fuel Growth?

Northrop Grumman Corporation NOC has recently secured a $100 million contract from the U.S. Navy to support the production and launch operations of the GQM-163A aerial target missile system. The contract was awarded by the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA.
The contract includes the production and delivery of flight trajectory data and technical support packages for the Ground Launch Drone Missile GQM-163A aerial target system. It also covers the operation, maintenance and loading of GQM-163A targets onto launch systems before launch to support the Navy’s Pacific Target Marine Operations Division.
The majority of the work related to this deal will be carried out in Chandler, AZ; Point Mugu, CA; and Las Cruces, NM. The contract is expected to be completed by May 2031.
What’s Favoring NOC Stock?
According to a report from the Mordor Intelligence firm, rising military conflicts, terrorism and border disputes have led nations to increase their focus on national security, particularly on missile defense systems in recent times, backed by the rapid development of advanced missile technologies over the last decade. Notably, NOC’s IBCS serves as the centerpiece of the U.S. Army's air and missile defense modernization strategy and thus enjoys a solid demand in the missile and missile defense systems market. The recent contract is an example of that.
