Martin Midstream Partners L.P., together with its subsidiaries, provides terminalling, processing, storage, and packaging services for petroleum products and by-products primarily in the United States. The company operates in four segments: Terminalling and Storage, Transportation, Sulfur Services, and Specialty Products. The company's Terminalling and Storage segment owns or operates various marine shore-based terminal facilities and specialty terminal facilities that provide storage, refining, blending, packaging, and handling services for producers and suppliers of petroleum products and by-products. This segment also offers land rental services to oil and gas companies, as well as storage and handling services for lubricants and fuels. Its Transportation segment operates various trucks and tank trailers; and inland marine tank barges, inland push boats, and articulated offshore tug and barge unit to transport petroleum products and by-products, petrochemicals, and chemicals. The company's Sulfur Services segment processes molten sulfur into prilled or pelletized sulfur, which is used in the production of fertilizers and industrial chemicals. Its Specialty Products segment stores, distributes, and transports natural gas liquids for wholesale deliveries to refineries, industrial natural gas liquid users, and propane retailers. Martin Midstream GP LLC serves as a general partner of the company. Martin Midstream Partners L.P. was incorporated in 2002 and is based in Kilgore, Texas.

Front-month West Texas Intermediate crude was fell 1.7% to $75.83 a barrel, and global benchmark Brent dropped 1.8% to $79.71 a barrel. Henry Hub natural-gas futures fell 0.2% to $2.05 per 1 million BTU.
In corporate news, Nut Tree Capital Management and Caspian Capital said Monday they have increased their offer to buy Martin Midstream Partners (MMLP) to $4.50 per unit from $4. Martin shares popped 8.6%.
Oil States International (OIS) shares jumped 14% after the company reported higher Q2 earnings and revenue.
Centuri (CTRI), a Southwest Gas (SWX) spinoff that started trading on the New York Stock Exchange on April 18, reported Q2 adjusted earnings and sales Monday that missed analysts' expectations. Centuri shares tumbled 22%.
Vital Energy (VTLE) and Northern Oil and Gas (NOG) have signed a deal to jointly buy the assets located in the Delaware Basin of Point Energy Partners in an all-cash deal worth $1.1 billion, subject to adjustments. Vital shares were falling 1.4% and Northern Oil was marginally higher.

Energy stocks rose late Friday afternoon, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index adding 0.4% and the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) up 0.3%.
The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector index climbed 1.1%, and the Dow Jones US Utilities index gained 1.4%.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil fell 0.5% at $82.19 a barrel, while global benchmark Brent decreased 0.4% to $85.05 a barrel. Henry Hub natural-gas futures spiked 2.4% to $2.32 per 1 million BTU.
In corporate news, Vista Energy (VIST) shares climbed 2.1%, a day after the company reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.74 a share, up from $0.61 a year earlier.
ConocoPhillips (COP) and Marathon Oil (MRO) said that they each received a second request from the US Federal Trade Commission for more information about their planned merger. ConocoPhillips shares were falling 0.5%, and Marathon was shedding 0.4%.
Martin Midstream Partners (MMLP) is not for sale, the general partner of the company said late Thursday in response to a $4-per-unit buyout proposal from Nut Tree Capital and Caspian Capital. Martin Midstream shares sank almost 3%.
Black Hills (BKH) shares were rising 2.1%. The firm said late Thursday it will provide power to Meta Platforms' (META) data center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, via its Black Hills Energy unit.

In corporate news, ConocoPhillips (COP) and Marathon Oil (MRO) said that they each received a second request from the US Federal Trade Commission for more information over their planned merger. ConocoPhillips shares were falling 0.7%, and Marathon was shedding 0.6%.

Energy stocks were advancing premarket Friday with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) up 0.5% recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was 0.4% higher and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was down 0.3%.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 1% at $83.62 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.9% to $86.14 per barrel. Natural gas futures were unchanged at $2.268 per 1 million British Thermal Units.

Sector Update: Energy Stocks Advance Premarket Friday

Energy stocks rose late Thursday afternoon with the NYSE Energy Sector Index up 0.8% and the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) adding '%.
The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector index climbed 2.5%, and the Dow Jones US Utilities index gained 1.1%.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose 0.9% to $82.85 a barrel, while global benchmark Brent advanced 0.7% to $85.68 a barrel.
US natural-gas stocks rose 65 billion cubic feet in the week ended Friday, a larger gain than the 56 billion increase expected in a survey compiled by Bloomberg and following an increase of 32 billion in the previous week. Stocks at 3.199 trillion are 9.7% higher than in the comparable week a year earlier and 18.7% above the five-year average.
Henry Hub natural gas futures fell 2.4% to $2.27 per 1 million BTU.
In corporate news, Pure Cycle (PCYO) shares jumped 6.3%, a day after the company reported fiscal Q3 earnings of $0.12 a share, down from $0.14 a year earlier. Revenue rose to $7.6 million from $6.9 million.
Marathon Oil (MRO) agreed to a $241.5 million settlement with the US government for allegedly violating the Clean Air Act, the Environmental Protection Agency and Justice Department said. Marathon shares rose 1.9%.

In corporate news, Enerplus (ERF) said Friday that its shareholders voted to approve the $3.8 billion sale of the oil and gas producer to Chord Energy (CHRD). Enerplus shares were rising 1.4% and Chord was up 1.5%.
Entergy (ETR) said Friday it expects to recognize a one-time non-cash pension settlement charge in Q2 of between $305 million and $335 million before taxes following the purchase of a group annuity contract. Its shares fell 0.2%.
Martin Midstream Partners (MMLP) said Friday that Martin Resource Management has made a non-binding proposal to buy all of the units of Martin Midstream Partners it doesn't already own for $3.05 per unit in cash. Martin Midstream shares popped 3.3%.
Hess (HES) Chief Executive John Hess has until Tuesday to resolve some shareholders' concerns over the proposed $53 billion merger with Chevron (CVX), Reuters reported Friday. Hess shares were rising 0.7% while Chevron was up 0.5%.
