Allegiant Travel Company, a leisure travel company, provides travel services and products to residents of under-served cities in the United States. The company offers scheduled air transportation on limited-frequency, nonstop flights between under-served cities and leisure destinations. As of February 1, 2024, it operated a fleet of 126 Airbus A320 series aircraft. The company also provides air-related services and products in conjunction with air transportation, including baggage fees, advance seat assignments, travel protection products, priority boarding, a customer convenience fee, food and beverage purchases on board, and other air-related services, as well as use of its call center for purchases. In addition, it offers third party travel products, such as hotel rooms and ground transportation, such as rental cars and hotel shuttle products; and air transportation services through fixed fee agreements and charter service on a year-round and ad-hoc basis. The encouraging price performance resulted in RYAAY outperforming the Zacks Airline industry in the said time frame. Additionally, RYAAY’s price performance is favorable to that of other airline operators like Alaska Air Group, Inc. (ALK), while unfavorable with that of Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT) in the same timeframe.

Given the recent rally, the question that naturally arises is whether RYAAY stock can sustain its bullish price performance or should investors book profits now. Before that, let's delve deep to unearth the reasons behind this northward price movement.
Tailwinds Working in Favor of RYAAY Stock
With travel bookings rising across the industry, Ryanair’s passenger revenues are also increasing. Because of this air-travel demand strength, RYAAY's traffic grew 9% to 183.7 million passengers in fiscal 2024. Further, we would like to remind investors that Ryanair carried 200.2 million passengers (traffic up 9% year over year) in its fiscal year ending March 2025, positioning itself as the first European airline to reach 200 million passengers in a single year. As a result, RYAAY is now the world’s leading low-fare airline in terms of passenger traffic, with low fares and reduced costs acting as the main catalyst. During the first half of fiscal 2026, RYAAY’s traffic grew 3% year over year to 119 million passengers.
Given the aforesaid encouraging backdrops, Ryanair has unveiled its raised traffic outlook for fiscal 2026 (concurrent with its second-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings release on Nov. 3, 2025). Ryanair now expects its fiscal 2026 traffic to grow by more than 3% to 207 million passengers (prior view: 206 million), owing to earlier than expected Boeing deliveries and solid demand during the first half of fiscal 2026.
Ryanair’s fleet-modernization initiatives to cater to the improvement in travel demand are encouraging. The inclusion of modern planes in its fleet and the retirement of the old ones align with its environmentally-friendly approach. During fiscal 2025, Ryanair took delivery of 30 new Boeing 737-8200 aircraft. The latest inclusions, apart from having all basic amenities, result in improved fuel efficiency. By the end of October 2025, 204 of the 210 Boeing 737-8200 aircraft (to be purchased under the 2014 contract) had been delivered. The remaining six aircraft are expected to be delivered ahead of the summer season of fiscal 2026, which encourages the company to expect 4% traffic growth to 215 million passengers during fiscal 2027. In May 2023, 300 new Boeing 737-MAX-10 aircraft orders were placed for delivery between 2027 and 2033. Ryanair expects these fuel-efficient MAX jets to generate substantial growth.
RYAAY has a solid balance sheet. The low-cost carrier ended second-quarter fiscal 2026 with cash and cash equivalents of $3.58 billion, much higher than the current debt level of $1.40 billion. This implies that the company has sufficient cash to meet its current debt obligations. RYAAY's efforts to repay its debts are encouraging too. As of Sept. 30, 2025, RYAAY made €1.2 billion in debt repayments.

RYAAY is also active on the share buyback front. During fiscal 2025, Ryanair purchased and canceled 7% of its issued share capital, comprising more than 77 million shares, and has now retired almost 36% of its issued share capital since 2008. In April 2025, RYAAY repurchased nearly 1 million shares, completing the €800 million share buyback program. In May 2025, RYAAY’s board approved a follow-on €750 million share buyback program. As of Sept. 30, 2025, RYAAY had purchased (and canceled) more than 7 million shares (almost 25% of the programme) for €188 million.
Headwinds Weighing on RYAAY Stock
Production delays at Boeing have been hurting the fleet-related plans of most airline companies, and it is no different for RYAAY. The company is actively in talks with Boeing leadership to speed up aircraft deliveries and has also visited Seattle at the beginning of January. Although B737 production is recovering from Boeing’s strike in late 2024, it is still slow to deliver sufficient aircraft ahead of the summer season of fiscal 2026. RYAAY anticipates the remaining six Gamechangers of the 210 orderbook are likely to be delivered before the summer of 2026. Additionally, Boeing expects the MAX-10 to be certified in mid-2026, followed by the delivery of the first 15 MAX-10s in Spring 2027 (with 300 of these fuel-efficient aircraft deliveries due by March 2034).
Escalating operating expenses due to high staff costs and higher air traffic control fees are hurting Ryanair’s bottom line. During the first half of fiscal 2026, staff costs increased 3% year over year due to higher salaries and agreed pay increases. Airport and handling charges rose 4% year over year owing to traffic growth, higher landing, ground air traffic control and handling rates. As a result, total operating expenses grew 4% year over year, owing to higher staff and other costs, which were in part due to Boeing delivery delays. This was partially offset by fuel hedge savings. High costs naturally put pressure on margins.

Improvement in air-travel demand, following the end of the pandemic and normalization of economic activities, bodes well for Allegiant's top line. With people taking to the skies, ALGT’s top line increased 3.5% on a year-over-year basis during the first nine months of 2025, owing to a 3.9% rise in passenger revenues, which accounted for the bulk (88.6%) of the top line. Given this encouraging backdrop, for the fourth quarter of 2025, capacity (measured in available seat miles or ASMs) (for scheduled service) is expected to increase 10% on a year-over-year basis. Total system ASM is projected to gain 9.5% on a year-over-year basis. Fourth-quarter adjusted operating margin is expected to lie between 10% and 12%.
Allegiant's fleet-modernization initiatives to cater to the increased travel demand are encouraging. The inclusion of modern planes in its fleet and the retirement of the old ones align with its environmentally friendly approach. ALGT ended 2024 with 125 (34 A319, 87 A320 and four 737-8200) planes in its fleet. ALGT ended third-quarter 2025 with 121 (29 A319, 82 A320 and 10 Boeing 737-8200) planes. The company aims to have a fleet size of 123 by the end of 2025.
ALGT’s liquidity position looks encouraging. The airline ended third-quarter 2025 with cash and cash equivalents of $985.32 million, higher than the current debt level of $270.63 million. This implies that the company has sufficient cash to meet its current debt obligations.
A strong balance sheet enables the company to reward shareholders with dividends and share repurchases. As a reflection of its shareholder-friendly stance, ALGT paid out dividends worth $21.9 million and repurchased shares worth $6 million in 2024. During the first nine months of 2025, ALGT repurchased shares worth $12.95 million (did not pay any dividends). Such shareholder-friendly initiatives should boost investor confidence and positively impact the bottom line.
What Do Earnings Estimates Say for ALGT?
Concurrent with its third-quarter 2025 earnings release, ALGT announced it had raised its full-year earnings guidance. For 2025, adjusted consolidated earnings per share (EPS) are now expected to be above $3.00 (prior view: above $2.25). Adjusted EPS (airline) is now anticipated to be above $4.35 (prior view: above $3.25). The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2025 EPS is currently pegged at $2.97.

Headwinds Weighing on ALGT Stock
Allegiant is being hurt by the tariff-induced challenging macroeconomic backdrop. The ongoing economic uncertainties and the resultant reduction in consumer and corporate confidence have the potential to hurt domestic air travel demand.
Production delays at Boeing,due to quality control checks and regulatory reviews by the Federal Aviation Administration, have been hurting the fleet-related plans of most airline companies, and it is no different for ALGT. Delays in aircraft delivery will lead to lower profitability than expected from the addition of these aircraft to ALGT’s existing fleet. Further, ALGT will be burdened with increased maintenance costs for those aircraft that would have otherwise been retired and raised interest costs for funds borrowed for pre-delivery deposits. Delivery delays are also expected to limit capacity growth going forward.
Labor costs have been moving up of late. Labor cost increase of 19.2% in 2024 (up 24.5% in 2023) swamped the 20.3% increase in total operating expenses in 2024, despite costs on aircraft fuel decreasing year over year (down 9.8% in 2024 and down 14.6% in 2023). This was followed by a 6.4% rise in operating expenses during the first nine months of 2025 (despite aircraft fuel expense down 1% year over year). The increase was attributable to deals inked with various labor groups. ALGT expects to continue experiencing increased cost pressure from the labor agreements.
Time to Retain ALGT
It is understood that ALGT stock is attractively valued, and strong passenger volumes bode well for Allegiant. Efforts to modernize its fleet are praiseworthy as well. Despite these positives, we advise investors not to buy ALGT stock now due to headwinds like high labor costs, Boeing and Airbus-related delivery delays and share price volatility. ALGT is also hurt by tariff-induced economic uncertainties and the resultant reduction in consumer and corporate confidence.

(ALGT) said it carried 1.38 million passengers across the total system in November 2025, up 10.4 percent from 1.25 million passengers in November 2024.
Total System capacity for the month was 1.59 million Available Seats Miles (ASMs), up 9.1 percent from 1.46 million ASMs a year ago.

The S&P 500 Index ($SPX) (SPY) on Friday closed down by -1.07%, the Dow Jones Industrials Index ($DOWI) (DIA) closed down by -0.51%, and the Nasdaq 100 Index ($IUXX) (QQQ) closed down by -1.91%. December E-mini S&P futures (ESZ25) fell -1.07%, and December E-mini Nasdaq futures (NQZ25) fell -1.94%.
Stock indexes sold off sharply on Friday, with the S&P 500 posting a 1.5-week low, the Nasdaq 100 a 2-week low, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average retreating from a new all-time high. Friday’s slump in technology shares weighed on the broader market.

Broadcom plunged more than -11% to lead chip makers and tech stocks lower Friday after its sales outlook fell short of lofty expectations and the company failed to provide an AI revenue forecast for 2026. This week’s disappointing outlooks from Oracle and Broadcom have also prompted some investors to rotate out of the tech sector amid lofty valuations and uncertainty over whether vast spending on AI infrastructure will ultimately pay off. However, investor rotation out of tech stocks into industrial stocks is providing support to the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
Hawkish Fed comments on Friday pushed T-note yields higher and undercut stocks. The 10-year T-note yield rose about +3 bp after Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee, who voted against a Fed rate cut on Wednesday, said, "Given that inflation has been above our target for 4.5 years, further progress on it has been stalled for several months, and almost all the business people and consumers we have spoken to identify prices as a main concern, I felt the more prudent course would have been to wait for more information." Also, Kansas City Fed President Jeff Schmid said he dissented against the FOMC's decision to cut interest rates on Wednesday and prefers to keep policy "modestly restrictive" because inflation remains too high and the economy continues to show momentum.
In addition, Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack said, "I would prefer for the Fed to be on a slightly more restrictive stance to help continue to put pressure" on the inflation side of its mandate.
On the dovish side, Philadelphia Fed President Anna Paulson said, "On net, I am still a little more concerned about labor market weakness than about upside risks to inflation."
The markets are discounting a 24% chance that the FOMC will cut the fed funds target range by 25 bp at the next FOMC meeting on January 27-28.
Q3 corporate earnings season is virtually over as 497 of the 500 S&P companies have released results. According to Bloomberg Intelligence, 83% of reporting S&P 500 companies exceeded forecasts, on course for the best quarter since 2021. Q3 earnings rose +14.6%, more than doubling expectations of +7.2% y/y.
Overseas stock markets settled mixed on Friday. The Euro Stoxx 50 fell from a 4-week high and closed down -0.58%. China’s Shanghai Composite recovered from a 2.5-week low and closed up +0.41%. Japan’s Nikkei Stock 225 rallied to a 4-week high and closed up +1.37%.
Interest Rates
March 10-year T-notes (ZNH6) on Friday closed down by -9 ticks. The 10-year T-note yield rose +3.5 bp to 4.192%. Hawkish Fed comments on Friday weighed on T-note prices. Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee said that, given higher inflation, the more prudent course would have been for the Fed to wait for more information before cutting rates. Also, Kansas City Fed President Jeff Schmid and Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack said they prefer to keep policy "modestly restrictive" because inflation remains too high and the economy continues to show momentum. T-note prices had underlying support from safe-haven demand amid Friday’s stock weakness.
T-notes are also under pressure due to steepening trades, where bond investors buy short-term government debt and sell long -term debt. The yield curve has steepened since Wednesday’s FOMC meeting, when the Fed said it would begin purchasing up to $40 billion of short-term T-bills a month, starting today, to boost liquidity in the financial system. Longer-term Treasury securities are also under pressure from concerns about inflation and the Fed’s independence.
European government bond yields moved higher on Friday. The 10-year German bund yield rose +1.4 bp to 2.857%. The 10-year UK gilt yield rose +3.3 bp to 4.517%.
UK Oct manufacturing production rose +0.5% m/m, weaker than expectations of +1.1% m/m.
Swaps are discounting a 0% chance for a -25 bp rate cut by the ECB at its next policy meeting on December 18.
US Stock Movers
Broadcom (AVGO) sank more than -11% to lead chip stocks lower after its sales outlook fell short of lofty expectations and the company failed to provide an AI revenue forecast for 2026. Also, Micron Technology (MU) closed down by more than -6%, and Marvell Technology (MRVL) and Lam Research (LRCX) closed down by more than -5%. In addition, KLA Corp (KLAC), Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Applied Materials (AMAT) closed down more than -4%. Finally, Intel (INTC), Nvidia (NVDA), ASML Holding NV (ASML), GlobalFoundries (GFS), and ARM Holdings Plc (ARM) closed down more than -3%.
AI-linked power stocks retreated on Friday after Broadcom’s sales outlook failed to impress. Vertiv Holdings (VRT) closed down more than -9%, and Amphenol (APH) and Constellation Energy (CEG) closed down more than -7%. Also, Eaton Corp Plc (ETN) closed down by more than -5%, and GE Vernova (GEV) closed down by more than -4%.
Cryptocurrency-exposed stocks were under pressure Friday as Bitcoin (^BTCUSD) fell more than -3%. Galaxy Digital Holdings (GLXY) closed down more than -10%, and Strategy (MSTR) closed down more than +3%. Also, Riot Platforms (RIOT) and MARA Holdings (MARA) closed down more than -2%, and Coinbase Global (COIN) closed down -0.58%.
Sandisk (SNDK) closed down more than -14% to lead losers in the S&P 500 after GF Securities downgraded the stock to hold from buy.
Netskope (NTSK) closed down more than -11% after reporting a Q3 adjusted net loss of -10 cents per share and forecasting a full-year adjusted net loss of -51 cents to -53 cents.
Ciena Corp (CIEN) closed down more than -9% after Northland Securities downgraded the stock to market perform from outperform.
Roblox (RBLX) closed down more than -6% after JPMorgan Chase downgraded the stock to neutral from overweight.
Veeva Systems (VEEV) closed down more than -2% after KeyBanc Capital Markets downgraded the stock to sector weight from overweight.
Lululemon Athletica (LULU) closed up more than +9% to lead gainers in the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 after reporting Q3 EPS of $2.59, stronger than the consensus of $2.22, and raising its 2026 EPS forecast to $12.92-$13.02 from a previous forecast of $12.77-$12.97, above the consensus of $12.89.
Quanex Building Products (NX) closed up more than +9% after reporting Q4 adjusted EPS of 83 cents, well above the consensus of 52 cents.
General Electric (GE) closed up more than +3% after Citigroup initiated coverage on the stock with a recommendation of buy and a price target of $386.
Linde Plc (LIN) closed up more than +3% after Citigroup said the stock is a new top pick with a buy recommendation and a price target of $520.
Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) closed up more than +2% after Guggenheim Securities upgraded the stock to buy from neutral with a price target of $62.
Allegiant Travel (ALGT) closed up more than +1% after Deutsche Bank upgraded the stock to buy from hold with a price target of $105.

Stocks Sink as Chip Stocks Retreat and Bond Yields Climb

European carrier, Ryanair Holdings RYAAY, has unveiled its raised traffic outlook for fiscal 2026, concurrent with its second-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings release on Nov. 3, 2025. As we know, higher traffic means more passengers and with travel bookings rising across the industry, passenger revenues at Ryanair should also increase, thereby contributing to the company’s top-line growth.
A raised guidance always acts as a positive indicator of the company’s prospects. Given this backdrop, the question that naturally arises is: Should investors buy, hold, or sell RYAAY stock now? The third-quarter fare outcome will be determined by close-in Christmas and New Year bookings.
RYAAY is not providing any profit after tax guidance for fiscal 2026. However, the company is hopeful of recovering all of last year’s 7% full-year fare decline, which should lead to reasonable net profit growth in fiscal 2026. The final fiscal 2026 outcome remains exposed to adverse external developments, which include conflict escalation in Ukraine and the Middle East, macro-economic shocks, and any further impact of repeated European ATC strikes & mismanagement.

During fiscal 2025, Ryanair took delivery of 30 new Boeing 737-8200 aircraft. The latest inclusions, apart from having all basic amenities, result in improved fuel efficiency.
As of the end of October 2025, 204 of the 210 Boeing 737-8200 aircraft (to be purchased under the 2014 contract) had been delivered. The remaining six aircraft are expected to be delivered ahead of the summer season of fiscal 2026, which encourages the company to expect 4% traffic growth to 215 million passengers during fiscal 2027.
In May 2023, 300 new Boeing 737-MAX-10 aircraft orders were placed for delivery between 2027 and 2033. Ryanair expects these fuel-efficient MAX jets to generate substantial growth.
RYAAY has a solid balance sheet. The low-cost carrier ended second-quarter fiscal 2026 with cash and cash equivalents of $3.58 billion, much higher than the current debt level of $1.40 billion. This implies that the company has sufficient cash to meet its current debt obligations. RYAAY's efforts to repay its debts are encouraging as well. As of Sept. 30, 2025, RYAAY made €1.2 billion in debt repayments.

RYAAY is also active on the share buyback front. During fiscal 2025, Ryanair purchased and canceled 7% of its issued share capital, comprising more than 77 million shares, and has now retired almost 36% of its issued share capital since 2008. In April 2025, RYAAY repurchased nearly 1 million shares, completing the €800 million share buyback program. In May 2025, RYAAY’s board approved a follow-on €750 million share buyback program. As of Sept. 30, 2025, RYAAY had purchased (and canceled) more than 7 million shares (almost 25% of the programme) for €188 million.

Headwinds Weighing on RYAAY Stock
Production delays at Boeing have been hurting the fleet-related plans of most airline companies, and it is no different for RYAAY. RYAAY is actively in talks with Boeing leadership to speed up aircraft deliveries and has also visited Seattle at the beginning of January. Although B737 production is recovering from Boeing’s strike in late 2024, it is still slow to deliver sufficient aircraft ahead of the summer season of fiscal 2026.
RYAAY anticipates the remaining six Gamechangers of the 210 orderbook are likely to be delivered before the summer of 2026. Additionally, Boeing expects the MAX-10 to be certified in mid-2026, followed by the delivery of the first 15 MAX-10s in Spring 2027 (with 300 of these fuel-efficient aircraft delivery due by March 2034).
Escalating operating expenses due to high staff costs and higher air traffic control fees are hurting Ryanair’s bottom line. During the first half of fiscal 2026, staff costs increased 3% year over year due to higher sectors and agreed pay increases. Airport and handling charges rose 4% year over year owing to traffic growth, higher landing, ground air traffic control, and handling rates. As a result, total operating expenses grew 4% year over year, owing to higher staff and other costs, which were in part due to Boeing delivery delays. This was partially offset by fuel hedge savings. High costs naturally put pressure on margins.

Production delays at Boeing,due toquality control checks and regulatory reviews by the Federal Aviation Administration, have been hurting the fleet-related plans of most airline companies, and it is no different for ALGT. Delays in aircraft delivery will lead to lower profitability than expected from the addition of these aircraft to ALGT’s existing fleet. Further, ALGT will be burdened with increased maintenance costs for those aircraft that would have otherwise been retired and raised interest costs for funds borrowed for pre-delivery deposits. Delivery delays are also expected to limit capacity growth going forward.
Labor costs have been moving up of late. Labor cost increase of 19.2% in 2024 (up 24.5% in 2023) swamped the 20.3% increase in total operating expenses in 2024, despite costs on aircraft fuel decreasing year over year (down 9.8% in 2024 and down 14.6% in 2023). This was followed by a 6.4% rise in operating expenses during the first nine months of 2025 (despite aircraft fuel expense down 1% year over year). The increase was attributable to deals inked with various labor groups. ALGT expects to continue experiencing increased cost pressure from the labor agreements.
What Do Earnings Estimates Say for ALGT?
Concurrent with its third-quarter 2025 earnings release, ALGT announced it had raised its full-year earnings guidance. For 2025, adjusted consolidated earnings per share (EPS) are now expected to be above $3.00 (prior view: above $2.25). Adjusted EPS (airline) is now anticipated to be above $4.35 (prior view: above $3.25). The Zacks Consensus Estimate is currently pegged at $3.04 per share for 2025.
The positive sentiment surrounding the stock is evident from the fact that the Zacks Consensus Estimate for ALGT’s fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 earnings has been raised in the past 60 days.

Total system ASM is projected to gain 9.5% on a year-over-year basis. Fourth-quarter adjusted operating margin is expected to lie between 10% and 12%.
Allegiant's fleet-modernization initiatives to cater to the increased travel demand are encouraging. The inclusion of modern planes in its fleet and the retirement of the old ones align with its environmentally friendly approach. ALGT ended 2024 with 125 (34 A319, 87 A320 and four 737-8200) planes in its fleet. ALGT ended third-quarter 2025 with 121 (29 A319, 82 A320 and 10 Boeing 737-8200) planes. The company aims to have a fleet size of 123 by the end of 2025.
ALGT’s liquidity position looks encouraging. The airline ended third-quarter 2025 with cash and cash equivalents of $985.32 million, higher than the current debt level of $270.63 million. This implies that the company has sufficient cash to meet its current debt obligations.
A strong balance sheet enables the company to reward shareholders with dividends and share repurchases. As a reflection of its shareholder-friendly stance, ALGT paid out dividends worth $21.9 million and repurchased shares worth $6 million in 2024. During the first nine months of 2025, ALGT repurchased shares worth $12.95 million (did not pay any dividends). (RTTNews) - Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT) on Tuesday announced a major expansion of its U.S. network, unveiling 30 new nonstop routes that will connect 35 cities — including four new markets — as the low-cost carrier continues to broaden its reach into leisure-focused travel. To mark the launch, Allegiant is offering introductory one-way fares starting at $39.
The airline is adding service to La Crosse, Wisconsin; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Trenton, New Jersey; and Columbia, Missouri, strengthening its strategy of linking small and mid-sized cities with popular vacation destinations. The first flights will begin in early 2026, with additional routes rolling out through mid-year.
Most of the new routes span major leisure corridors across Florida, Arizona, California and the Midwest, connecting cities such as Fort Lauderdale, Phoenix-Mesa, Orlando Sanford, Destin, St. Pete-Clearwater, Myrtle Beach and Burbank. Introductory fares on these routes range from $39 to $79.

Allegiant To Add 30 New Nonstop Routes Connecting 35 Cities

Shares of Allegiant Travel Company (ALGT) have gained 19% since its third-quarter 2025 earnings release on Nov 4, 2025. The upside can be attributed to the company’s raised full year earnings guidance. For 2025, adjusted consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for 2025 are now expected to be above $3.00 (prior view: above $2.25). Adjusted EPS (airline) is now anticipated to be above $4.35 (prior view: above $3.25).
ALGT reported third-quarter 2025 loss of $2.09 per share, wider than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of $1.84 per share. In the year-ago quarter, ALGT incurred a loss of $2.02 per share.
Operating revenues of $561.9 million missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $580.4 million and fell 0.1% on a year-over-year basis. Passenger revenues, which accounted for the bulk (87.9%) of the top line, grew 1.1% on a year-over-year basis.

Airline operating costs per available seat miles, excluding fuel, fell 4.7% year over year to 8.47 cents. The average fuel cost per gallon (scheduled) decreased 4.9% year over year to $2.55. Total scheduled service passenger revenue per available seat mile fell to 11.19 cents from 12.21 cents a year ago.

As of Sept. 30, 2025, Allegiant’s total unrestricted cash and investments were $991.2 million compared with $852.7 million at the prior-quarter end. Long-term debt and finance lease obligations (net of current maturities and related costs) totaled $1.78 billion compared with $1.77 billion at the prior-quarter end.

For the fourth quarter of 2025, ASM (for scheduled service) is expected to increase 10% on a year-over-year basis. Total system ASM is projected to gain 9.5% on a year-over-year basis.
Adjusted earnings per share is anticipated to be in the $1.50 to $2.50 range. Third-quarter adjusted operating margin is expected to lie between 10% and 12%. The fuel cost per gallon is suggested to be $2.55.
For 2025, ASM (for scheduled service) is expected to increase 13% on a year-over-year basis. Total system ASM is projected to rise 12.5% on a year-over-year basis. Interest expenses are forecasted to be in the range of $135-$145 million. The fuel cost per gallon is suggested to be $2.55.

Q3 Performances of Other Transportation Companies
Delta Air Lines DAL reported third-quarter 2025 earnings (excluding 46 cents from non-recurring items) of $1.71 per share, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.52. Earnings increased 14% on a year-over-year basis due to low fuel costs.
Revenues in the September-end quarter were $16.67 billion, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $15.79 billion and increasing 6.4% on a year-over-year basis. Due to improving air-travel demand, adjusted operating revenues (excluding third-party refinery sales) increased 4.1% year over year to $15.2 billion.
J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. (JBHT) reported third-quarter 2025 earnings of $1.76 per share, which surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.47 and improved 18.1% year over year.
Total operating revenues of $3.05 billion surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $3.02 billion and were down 0.5% year over year. JBHT’s third-quarter revenue performance was hurt by a 1% and 4% decline in gross revenue per load in Intermodal (JBI) and Truckload (JBT), respectively, a decrease in load volume of 8% and 1% in Integrated Capacity Solutions (ICS) and Dedicated Contract Services (DCS), and 8% fewer stops in Final Mile Services (FMS). These items were partially offset by a 3 % improvement in DCS productivity, a 9% increase in revenue per load in ICS and 14% load growth in JBT. Total operating revenue, excluding fuel surcharge revenue, fell less than 1% year over year.
United Airlines Holdings, Inc. (UAL) reported mixed third-quarter 2025 results wherein the company’s earnings beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate, but revenues missed the same.
UAL's third-quarter 2025 adjusted earnings per share (EPS) (excluding 12 cents from non-recurring items) of $2.78 surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.64 but declined 16.5% on a year-over-year basis. The reported figure lies above the guided range of $2.25 and $2.75.
Operating revenues of $15.2 billion fell short of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $15.3 billion but increased 2.6% year over year. Passenger revenues (which accounted for 90.7% of the top line) increased 1.9% year over year to $13.8 billion. UAL flights transported 48,382 passengers in the third quarter, up 6.2% year over year.

Current Price greater than 5 (as a stock trading below $5 will not likely create significant interest for most of the investors).
Average Daily Volume greater than 100,000 shares over the last 20 trading days (Volume has to be significant to ensure that these are easily traded).
Market value ($ mil) = Top #3000 (This gives us stocks that are the top 3000 in terms of market capitalization).
Com/ADR/Canadian= Com (This eliminates the ADR and Canadian stocks).

The company, which balances conventional fuel supply with emerging decarbonization initiatives, while also holding a significant interest in natural gas production, currently sports a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy). General Motors remains the top-selling automaker in the United States, holding a 17% market share in the third quarter of 2025. Robust vehicle offerings, a growing software and services business, progress in China restructuring, and strong liquidity are expected to support General Motors’ growth.
GM beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate for earnings in each of the trailing four quarters by an average of 9%. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for current-year earnings has been revised upward by 8% over the past 60 days. The company currently sports a Zacks Rank #1.
American Airlines is based in Fort Worth, TX. The gradual increase in air travel demand (particularly leisure) has been aiding AAL. Low fuel costs are driving the bottom line. American Airlines is constantly looking to add routes and broaden its network.
American Airlines is expected to report a 1% increase in 2025 revenues from 2024’s actuals. AAL currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
Allegiant Travel is gaining from a buoyant air travel demand scenario. Efforts to upgrade its fleet are praiseworthy as well. ALGT aims to end 2025 with a fleet size of 123.
ALGT’s earnings surpassed estimates in three of the last four quarters and missed the mark once. The average beat was 16%. Allegiant currently carries a Zacks Rank #3.
Dana Incorporated provides thermal-management products for the automotive sector. Dana supplies major motion/drive systems for vehicles and machines. The ongoing accelerated cost-reduction measures and efficiency gains are helping Dana to offset the effects of tariffs and inflation.
