Accenture: A Strong Contender in the Consulting Space

UiPath’s PATH first-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings matched the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 15 cents per share and increased 36.4% year over year, while revenues of $418.4 million topped the consensus mark by 5.3%. Revenues rose 17% year over year, supported by strong demand for AI-driven automation and orchestration offerings.

The company continued to benefit from expanding enterprise adoption of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Annualized renewal run rate (ARR) rose 12% year over year to $1.901 billion, while the dollar-based net retention rate was 109%.
PATH's ARR & Revenues Expand
UiPath generated $49 million in net new ARR during the quarter, reflecting steady customer expansion activity. Subscription services revenues were $252.9 million, while license revenues reached $149.3 million.
Per management, 16 of the company’s top 20 deals included AI capabilities. AI-related expansion deals were six times larger than non-AI deals, highlighting rising enterprise demand for automation tied to generative AI workflows.
UiPath Pushes Agentic AI Adoption
UiPath continued investing in agentic automation and process-orchestration initiatives during the quarter. Management said adoption of its agentic products has shifted from pilot programs to production deployments over the past year.
At its DevCon event, the company introduced UiPath for Coding Agents, enabling developers to connect coding agents with the UiPath platform to create, deploy and manage automations. Management believes the offering could reduce implementation timelines and maintenance burdens in complex enterprise environments.
The company also launched industry-focused AI workflow solutions spanning finance, retail, manufacturing and financial services. New offerings address use cases including purchase-to-pay workflows, inventory management, loan origination and financial crime compliance.
PATH Benefits From Enterprise Expansion
UiPath highlighted several large customer wins and expansions tied to process orchestration and AI automation deployments. A Fortune 500 energy company reportedly positioned UiPath at the center of a $70 million cost-reduction initiative.
Management also cited a large healthcare distribution customer expected to achieve multi-million-dollar annual savings through workflows combining AI agents and deterministic automation. The deployment contributed to a seven-figure expansion during the quarter.
The company continued to gain traction with Maestro, its orchestration platform designed to coordinate agents, automations, application programming interfaces, and people across enterprise workflows. UiPath launched Maestro Case in public preview to support the orchestration of unstructured and exception-driven work processes.
PATH Strengthens Profitability & Cash Flow
UiPath reported first-quarter GAAP operating income of $28 million. Non-GAAP operating income increased to $92 million, representing an operating margin of 22%.
GAAP gross margin was 82%, while non-GAAP gross margin came in at 83%. Management attributed margin expansion to improved operational efficiency and disciplined cost management across the business.
The company generated $132 million in net cash flow from operations during the quarter. Adjusted non-GAAP free cash flow totaled $130 million.
UiPath exited the quarter with $1.42 billion in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities, providing significant financial flexibility. The strong balance sheet supports continued investment in AI innovation, enterprise automation capabilities and strategic partnerships.
UiPath Guidance for Steady Q2 & FY27 Growth
For the second quarter of fiscal 2027, UiPath expects revenues to be between $395 million and $400 million, with the midpoint of $397.5 million being in line with the Zacks Consensus Estimate. The company projects ARR to be in the range of $1.929-$1.934 billion as of July 31, 2026.
Management expects second-quarter non-GAAP operating income of approximately $75 million. For fiscal 2027, UiPath projects revenues to be between $1.776 billion and $1.781 billion, with the midpoint of $1.78 billion being above the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.76 billion.
The company anticipates fiscal 2027 ARR to be in the range of $2.058 billion to $2.063 billion. Full-year non-GAAP operating income is projected at approximately $430 million, reflecting continued operating discipline amid ongoing investments in AI and orchestration capabilities.

TECL, CRM, INTU, ACN: ETF Outflow Alert

(RTTNews) - HUMAIN, an AI company, and Accenture plc (ACN), the IT and consulting giant, Wednesday announced that they are collaborating to accelerate the adoption of AI across government entities and enterprises in Saudi Arabia.
Accenture will be a strategic reinvention & AI partner in Saudi Arabia, helping HUMAIN scale its AI capabilities across the Kingdom, the companies said in a statement.
HUMAIN will bring full AI stack including next-generation data centers, high-performance infrastructure and cloud platforms, advanced AI models, and applied AI solutions along with Accenture's capability to design, build, and run AI-driven transformation.
Together, the companies will focus on AI Reinvention Services, Enterprise AI Architecture, Workforce Transformation, Ecosystem Activation, and Digital Trust.
In pre-market activity, ACN shares were trading at $176.05, down 0.40% on the New York Stock Exchange.

HUMAIN, Accenture Collaborate To Scale AI Capabilities Across Saudi Arabia

Nu Holdings Ltd. NU reported first-quarter 2026 earnings per share of 19 cents, which missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 20 cents but increased 58.3% from the year-ago quarter.
Revenues, as per Accounting Profit and Loss (P&L), rose 53% year over year to a record $4.97 billion, matching the consensus mark.
Revenues, per Managerial P&L, increased 57.6% year over year to a record $5.32 billion.
During the fourth quarter of 2025, NU introduced its Managerial P&L, a structural, complementary reorganization of IFRS line items, in its disclosure framework to enhance comparability for external assurance.
The stock has declined 5.7% since the release of results on May 14 due to weak quarterly earnings performance and low investor confidence.
Nu Holdings Ltd. Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise
However, the quarter reflected continued customer growth, rising monetization and strong credit portfolio expansion. NU ended the quarter with more than 135 million customers globally, while the monthly average revenue per active customer reached nearly $16.
NU Sees Strong Customer Growth Across Markets
Nu Holdings added nearly 4 million customers in the first quarter, taking its global customer base to 135.2 million. Brazil remained the company’s largest market, with the customer base surpassing 115 million. Mexico crossed 15 million customers and became the third-largest financial institution in that market.
Customer engagement remained stable despite seasonal softness. The activity rate held at 83.4%, while Brazil continued to approach 100 million active customers. Monthly average revenue per active customer climbed 23% year over year to $15.9, reflecting improved monetization across the platform.
Nubank Expands Credit Portfolio & Deposits
Nubank’s total credit portfolio increased 40% year over year and 7% sequentially to $37.2 billion. Credit card balances grew 36%, unsecured lending expanded 53% and secured lending rose 38% from the prior-year quarter.
Total deposits reached $42.4 billion, up 22% year over year. The company noted that deposits in Mexico declined sequentially because of seasonal year-end outflows and efforts to optimize funding costs. The loan-to-deposit ratio increased to 58.3% from 49.1% in the fourth quarter of 2025 as lending growth continued to outpace deposits.
NU’s Profitability Benefits From Revenue Growth
Net interest income increased 12% sequentially to a record $3.25 billion as the credit portfolio expanded faster than liabilities. Total revenues surpassed $5 billion for the first time in the company’s history.
Gross profit increased 27% year over year to $1.88 billion. Net income rose 41% year over year to $871.4 million. Return on equity was 29% compared with 27% in the year-ago quarter.
The efficiency ratio improved to 17.6% from 21.4% a year ago, aided by operating leverage, AI-driven productivity gains and software platform consolidation. Per management, part of the improvement reflected temporary timing benefits tied to marketing and real estate spending.
Nubank Navigates Seasonal Credit Pressures
Nubank’s 15-90-day non-performing loan ratio rose to 5% from 4.1% in the prior quarter, reflecting normal first-quarter seasonality, portfolio growth and expansion into higher-risk segments. However, the 90-plus-day delinquency ratio improved to 6.5% from 6.6% in this quarter.
Credit loss allowance increased 33% sequentially to $1.79 billion. Management attributed the increase primarily to portfolio growth and seasonal patterns rather than deterioration in underlying asset quality. Risk-adjusted net interest margin declined 100 basis points sequentially to 9.5%.
NU highlighted the resilience of its underwriting model, stating that its short-duration lending portfolio allows the company to react quickly to changes in asset quality trends.
NU Advances AI Transformation Strategy
NU continued to expand its AI capabilities during the quarter. The company’s AI Private Banker functionalities serve more than 15 million monthly active users. Its proprietary NuFormer foundation models are being used for credit card decision-making in Brazil and Mexico, as well as unsecured lending in Brazil.
Per management, engineering throughput increased more than 50% year over year, while testing cycles were 90% faster. The company expects AI-native customer experiences to roll out further during 2026 as it rebuilds customer workflows around automation and predictive decision-making.
Nubank Maintains Expansion & Efficiency Focus
Nubank reiterated plans to continue investing in international expansion and AI infrastructure while maintaining disciplined expense management. The company expects its full-year 2026 efficiency ratio to remain around 20%, broadly in line with year-end 2025 levels.
Management emphasized a measured approach to expand in the United States. The company expects investments tied to the initiative to remain below 100 basis points of the consolidated efficiency ratio annually through 2027.
NU’s long-term strategy remains centered on deepening penetration in Brazil, scaling operations in Mexico and Colombia, and leveraging AI to improve customer engagement and profitability across the platform.

NU Stock Falls 5.7% Since Missing Q1 Earnings, Revenues In Line

Three years ago, D-Wave Quantum's (NYSE: QBTS) stock closed at its all-time low of $0.41 per share. At the time, investors were disappointed by the company's lackluster sales growth, steep losses, and sky-high valuation. But as of this writing, it trades at about $20.

What does D-Wave Quantum do?
Quantum computers can complete certain tasks much faster than classical computers, but they're larger, pricier, consume more power, and make more mistakes. To address those challenges, quantum computing companies are developing newer systems and services.
D-Wave designs its own quantum processing units (QPUs) and Advantage quantum systems, and it provides remote access to those systems through its cloud-based Leap platform. Unlike many of its industry peers -- which provide a broader range of general-purpose quantum computing services -- D-Wave mainly provides quantum annealing services.
Quantum annealing services run specific processes -- such as workflows, supply chains, and logistics -- through a quantum system and measure the power they consume. They identify the least-power-consuming devices as the most efficient, making them useful tools for mainstream companies rather than niche research institutions. More than 100 companies -- including Deloitte, Mastercard, Volkswagen, Lockheed Martin, and Accenture -- have already been testing out its services.
But how fast is D-Wave Quantum growing?
However, D-Wave doesn't generate much recurring revenue from those big-name customers, since most are enrolled in its low-revenue pilot and research programs on its Leap platform. They're not deploying D-Wave's services at scale to overhaul their entire businesses. D-Wave generates much more revenue from selling its Advantage systems, which cost more than $20 million, but those sales are infrequent, unpredictable, and subject to lengthy upgrade cycles.
That's why D-Wave's revenue growth from 2022 through 2024 stayed sluggish. Its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also stayed in the red as its net losses widened. Yet even after its stock sank to its all-time low in 2023, it was still valued at $52.5 million -- or six times the revenue it would generate that year.

But in 2025, D-Wave's revenue surged 179% as it started selling its new Advantage2 quantum systems, which can solve certain problems 25,000 times faster than its first-generation systems while consuming less power.
In its latest conference call, CEO Alan Baratz said D-Wave would deliver "at least" two systems in 2026 and aim to deliver two to three systems annually over the next few years. It also expects to keep expanding its enterprise subscription tier, which costs about $25,000 per quarter.
Assuming all of those catalysts kick in, analysts expect D-Wave's revenue to grow at an 80% CAGR from $24.6 million in 2025 to $142.4 million in 2028. But with a market cap of $8.2 billion, D-Wave's stock isn't cheap at 57 times its 2028 sales. Analysts also expect its adjusted EBITDA to stay negative for the foreseeable future.
Why could D-Wave still be the next big thing?
D-Wave's stock is speculative, but it could have significant upside if more companies adopt its quantum annealing services to streamline operations. It could also expand its business beyond quantum annealing services through additional acquisitions and secure more recurring revenue through stickier government contracts. Therefore, it could eventually expand and evolve into a much larger quantum computing company -- and investors who nibble on it today could reap some big gains over the next decade.

D-Wave Quantum Stock Surges 4,550% -- This Quantum Computing Play Could Be the Next Big Thing

Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. MARA reported unimpressive first-quarter 2026 results, with both earnings and revenues missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate.
MARA’s first-quarter 2026 loss per share was 61 cents, wider than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of 46 cents and the year-ago loss of 40 cents per share. Revenues of $174.6 million missed the consensus mark of $192.7 million and declined 18.4% year over year.
The stock has barely moved since the release of results on May 11, reflecting poor quarterly earnings performance and low confidence among shareholders.
Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise
The weaker results reflected lowerbitcoin prices higher operating expenses and unfavorable mark-to-market adjustments on digital assets. During the quarter, MARA increased its energized hashrate (EH) 33% year over year to 72.2 EH/s and mined 2,247 bitcoins (BTC).
MARA Expands Hashrate Amid Mining Pressure
MARA continued scaling its mining platform despite a tougher pricing environment. Energized hashrate rose to 72.2 EH/s from 54.3 EH/s in the year-ago quarter, while average daily bitcoin production reached 25 BTC.
The company won 653 blocks in the quarter, down 2% year over year. Higher global network difficulty offset gains from fleet expansion and reduced bitcoin mined per unit of energy consumed. MARA deployed roughly 5,000 new miners and acquired 2.4 EH of next-generation used Application-Specific Integrated Circuit miners to improve fleet efficiency at lower capital costs.
Marathon Revenues Fall on Bitcoin Weakness
Marathon’s revenues decreased to $174.6 million from $213.9 million in the prior-year quarter. Management attributed most of the decline to an 18% drop in averagebitcoin prices which reduced revenues by approximately $33.1 million.
Bitcoin production declined modestly from the year-ago period, contributing additional pressure on sales. Other revenues fell $3.7 million, primarily due to lower contributions from digital asset hosting services and other digital assets. Bitcoin holdings were 35,303 BTC at quarter-end, down from 47,531 BTC a year earlier.
MARA Costs Rise Despite Efficiency Gains
MARA’s purchased energy costs increased to $44.7 million from $43.5 million in the prior-year quarter, reflecting expanded owned mining operations and higher power usage. Purchased energy cost per bitcoin increased to $40,047 from $35,728 a year ago due to growth in network difficulty outpacing hashrate expansion.
Operating and maintenance expenses climbed to $30.6 million from $19.8 million due to higher miner repair costs, maintenance spending and labor expenses tied to a larger operational footprint. Third-party hosting and other energy costs rose to $70 million.
Despite these pressures, cost per petahash per day improved 3% year over year to $27.6. Management noted that the metric has improved 42% over the last 11 quarters, supported by operational efficiencies and hardware optimization.
Marathon Pursues AI Infrastructure Expansion
Marathon accelerated its transition toward digital infrastructure and AI-focused operations during the quarter. The company advanced its strategic partnership with Starwood to develop AI and critical IT infrastructure across powered sites.
Per management, around 90% of MARA’s non-hosted capacity is being evaluated for AI and critical IT conversion opportunities. The partnership structure is designed to monetize the company’s power and land portfolio while limiting incremental capital requirements.
The company also announced a definitive agreement to acquire Long Ridge Energy and Power after quarter-end. The asset includes a 505 MW combined-cycle gas turbine facility and 1,600 acres of land adjacent to MARA’s Hannibal operations. The acquisition is expected to expand MARA’s owned and operational capacity by roughly 65% and create a scalable AI and high-performance computing campus.
MARA Strengthens Balance Sheet, Cuts Debt
MARA reported a net loss of $1.3 billion compared with a loss of $533.4 million in the prior-year quarter. The wider loss primarily reflected a $1 billion unfavorable fair-value adjustment tied to decliningbitcoin pricesand restructuring charges of $45.9 million.
Adjusted EBITDA was negative $1 billion compared with negative $483.6 million a year ago. General and administrative expenses, excluding stock-based compensation, increased to $57.7 million from $36.9 million due to integration costs, higher personnel expenses and expansion initiatives.
The company reduced its workforce by 15%, a move expected to generate annualized savings of $12 million. During the quarter, MARA sold approximately $1.5 billion of bitcoin and used the proceeds to repurchase more than $1 billion of convertible debt at a discount and reduce outstanding borrowings. Combined cash and bitcoin holdings totaled approximately $2.9 billion at quarter-end.

MARA Barely Moves Since Missing Q1 Earnings & Revenue Estimates

Genpact G reported impressive first-quarter 2026 results, with both earnings and revenues beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate.
The company’s adjusted earnings of 98 cents per share beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 93 cents and increased 16.7% year over year.
Revenues of $1.30 billion surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.29 billion and rose 6.7% year over year, driven by strong momentum in Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS), particularly agentic and AI-led offerings.
However, the better-than-expected results failed to impress investors, as the stock has declined 9.4% since the earnings release on May 7 due to weak second-quarter 2026 revenue guidance.
Genpact Limited Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise
Genpact expects revenues to be between $1.324 billion and $1.336 billion for the second quarter of 2026, suggesting year-over-year growth of 5.5-6.5%. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the same is $1.34 billion.
Genpact’s Q1 Details
Advanced Technology Solutions' revenues increased 24.3% year over year to $345 million, representing 27% of total net revenues. The company has witnessed significant ATS pipeline growth lately, fueled by demand for data, AI and agentic solutions
Core Business Services revenues increased 1.4% year over year to $951 million and accounted for 73% of total revenues.
Gross profit rose 9.9% year over year to $471.7 million. Gross margin expanded 110 basis points year over year to 36.4%, marking the company’s 12th consecutive quarter of gross margin expansion.
Adjusted income from operations increased 6.6% year over year to $223.7 million. However, the adjusted operating margin remained flat year over year at 17.3% as Genpact continued to invest in growth initiatives.
Selling, general and administrative expenses increased to $270.3 million from $241.1 million reported in the year-ago quarter.
Net income increased 13.1% year over year to $148 million. GAAP earnings per share increased 17.8% year over year to 86 cents.
Genpact Expands Agentic AI Business
Genpact highlighted strong traction in its agentic operations business. Management stated that agentic solutions nearly doubled the total contract value generated in full-year 2025 within a single quarter.
The company signed six large deals in the quarter, each with a total contract value exceeding $50 million. More than 50% of the cumulative awarded contract value came from new clients.
Partner-related revenues increased 35% year over year, representing nearly 13% of total revenues. During the quarter, Genpact deepened its alliance with Google Cloud to develop AI-led finance solutions.
Management also emphasized increasing adoption of outcome-based and non-FTE commercial models as enterprises accelerate AI-led transformation efforts.
Balance Sheet & Cash Flow of Genpact
Genpact exited the quarter with cash and cash equivalents of $578.1 million compared with $853.8 million at 2025-end.
Cash utilized in operations totaled $23.5 million compared with cash generated from operations of $40.4 million in the prior-year quarter.
During the quarter, Genpact repurchased nearly 1.8 million shares for approximately $70 million at an average price of $38.61 per share. The company also paid dividends worth $31.8 million.
Genpact’s Q2 & 2026 Guidance
For the second quarter of 2026, G’s adjusted earnings per share are expected to be in the range of 96-97 cents. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the same is 97 cents per share.
For 2026, Genpact continues to expect at least 7% revenue growth on a reported basis. The company expects ATS revenues to grow at least 20% while projecting an adjusted operating margin of approximately 17.7% and adjusted earnings per share growth of more than 10%.
