Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR) is one of the biggest names in the fledgling market for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. It and peer Joby Aviation are the leading U.S.-based players in the space, and could be positioned to score big wins if category demand takes flight.
While Archer's share price climbed as high as $14.62 in October 2025, it has since slumped back to the $5.50 range where it traded in late 2024, down roughly 62% from its 52-week high. After that steep sell-off, is the stock a worthwhile buy?

Archer stock remains a high-risk, high-potential-reward play
As of this writing, Archer Aviation has a market capitalization of roughly $4.2 billion. However, it generated just $5 million in revenue in the second quarter. It also recorded a non-GAAP earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) loss of $177.1 million in the quarter, and management is guiding for an adjusted EBITDA loss of between $120 million and $170 million in the current quarter.
The good news is that Archer looks poised for a significant sales boost in the near future. The company is set to acquire Insitu from Boeing, and that defense-focused drone hardware and software business is generating roughly $200 million in annual sales. It's also recording profits. Along with Insitu, Archer is also acquiring two other Boeing subsidiaries: eVTOL specialist Wisk Aero and air-traffic management software specialist SkyGrid.
Archer will pay for those acquisitions in stock. With the eVTOL specialist set to give Boeing a 16.5% stake in itself through newly created shares, current shareholders are looking at a large amount of stock dilution.
While the company ended the second quarter with roughly $1.56 billion in cash and equivalents on its books, its rate of cash burn makes it likely that Archer will continue to issue new shares in order to fund its operations. The company is still in the early stages of scaling up the manufacturing of its Midnight eVTOL, and research and development (R&D) spending will likely continue to be substantial due to the competitive nature of nascent markets.
While Insitu is posting net profits, Archer will still be recording substantial losses following the integration of the unit -- and investors should understand that they are likely to see substantial stock dilution over the next five years. Archer's Midnight eVTOL remains behind Joby's comparable air taxi in terms of aviation certifications, and achieving positive gross margins on its signature aircraft within the next half-decade is probably out of the question unless production through its partnership with Stellantis scales up rapidly.
On the other hand, Archer's investment and tech-sharing partnership with Boeing and its manufacturing partnership with Stellantis have strengthened the company's foundations, and its partnership with Anduril on hybrid VTOL aircraft for moving freight in defense and commercial applications has improved its growth outlook. Archer stock remains a risky bet given the uncertain economics of untested models and technologies, but the company's position in next-generation autonomous aviation tech could make it a worthwhile buy for investors with a high tolerance for risk.

Archer and Joby are making test flights across the U.S.
In June 2025, the White House unveiled Executive Order 14307, titled "Unleashing American Drone Dominance." As part of this, the White House unveiled the eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP), overseen by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The eIPP aims to test and safely integrate eVTOL aircraft into the U.S. national airspace by creating real-world testing environments across the country. For Archer and Joby, this program enables them to kick-start regional flight networks and demonstrate operational readiness alongside their formal FAA Type Certification process.
In April 2026, Joby made its New York City debut, flying from downtown Manhattan to John F. Kennedy International Airport. As part of the eIPP, it has been approved to fly across 11 states, including California, Texas, and Florida, and it plans its first eIPP flights in Texas this month. This week-long test campaign will help it test real-world operations with company pilots only.
Archer is also taking flight. In July 2026, the company completed a piloted round trip between Salinas and Monterey, California. The company also has plans for a "No Roads" flight tour as part of the eIPP, which kicked off on Sept. 4.
Archer and Joby are in a tight race to achieve FAA certification
On operational readiness, Archer and Joby are neck and neck. Both companies are demonstrating their flights through the eIPP and navigating the later stages of the FAA's Type Certification Process.
This certification approves that the aircraft's design complies with federal airworthiness and safety standards and paves the way for Archer and Joby to begin mass production and commercial passenger operations. Both companies are well along in this process, though Joby currently has a slight lead.
Both companies have growing defense businesses
Beyond passenger flights, both Archer and Joby are building strong defense businesses. On Aug. 10, Archer acquired Boeing's Wisk Aero, SkyGrid, and Insitu in an all-stock deal. Wisk expands Archer's autonomous flight capabilities. SkyGrid gives it an air traffic management solution for the future of automated airspace. Finally, Insitu provides uncrewed aircraft systems used for intelligence and reconnaissance operations.
Joby secured the U.S. military's first-ever airworthiness approval in 2020. It has an Agility Prime contract with the U.S. Air Force, with a ceiling of $131 million. In addition, on Aug. 11, Joby announced it would acquire Resonant Sciences, a Dayton, Ohio-based defense technology company. Resonant specializes in radio frequency, stealth design, and sensing systems.
Here is what differentiates the two eVTOL companies
One key difference between Joby and Archer is their business models. Joby operates a vertically integrated model, building, owning, and running the air taxi service. Its goal is to maintain strict quality control by bringing the entire manufacturing process under one roof. Archer relies more on aerospace suppliers such as Garmin and Honeywell Aerospace. This allows it to move faster, but could reduce its long-term margins.
In terms of capital, Joby has $2.3 billion in cash and short-term investments, while Archer has $1.6 billion. Through the first six months of 2026, Joby has a net loss of $355 million, while Archer has lost $480 million. Joby currently makes money through Blade Mobility, while Archer's acquisition of Insitu gives it a profitable company that generates roughly $200 million in annual revenue.
Which stock is a better buy: Archer or Joby?
Both companies are still a ways from operating profitability as they continue to invest heavily in research and development to gain FAA approval and scale up manufacturing.
If you believe in Archer's capital-light model that relies on existing supply chains, it could be the stock for you. If you believe in vertical integration and potential for higher profit margins, Joby Aviation is the stock to go with. With that in mind, investing in either eVTOL stock carries significant risk, so size your position accordingly.

Better eVTOL Stock: Archer Aviation vs. Joby Aviation

GE Aerospace GE has inked a deal to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (“CPP”) from private investment firms Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners. The transaction was valued at approximately $11.75 billion in total using $7 billion in cash and debt for the remaining consideration.
Based in Cleveland, OH, CPP is engaged in producing precision-engineered castings and sub-assemblies for commercial aerospace and defense applications. It supplies complex alloy castings for commercial and military aircraft, weapon systems, helicopters and industrial gas turbines. The company was established in 1991 and employs about 6,600 personnel across more than 20 facilities.
Acquisition Rationale of GE Aerospace
The latest acquisition aligns with GE’s strategy of acquiring businesses to expand its market share and customer base. The acquisition of CPP is expected to strengthen the company’s supply chain, expand critical casting capacity and improve manufacturing performance to support strong demand across commercial engines, aftermarket and defense markets. The transaction is also anticipated to support long-term growth by leveraging GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK platform to enhance manufacturing and engineering capabilities and accelerate the development of new engine technologies.
The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

GE Expands Mission-Critical Castings Capacity Through CPP Acquisition

The company is betting that it can scale eVTOL sales and services into a substantially profitable business over the long term, but it still has a lot of work to do before its operations are set up to generate reliable earnings. One piece of good news is that the company doesn't have to rely entirely on growing organically in order to achieve its goals.
Last month, Archer announced that it had entered into a deal to acquire Boeing's Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid subsidiaries. The move immediately spurred a substantial jump for Archer's share price, but what will it mean for the company and its shareholders over the long term?

Archer's latest acquisition push looks encouraging
Of the three units Archer acquired from Boeing, Wisk is the most clearly specialized in eVTOL aircraft. In the press release announcing the acquisitions, Archer describes Wisk as "the only company that has designed, built, and flown six generations of eVTOL aircraft, amassing 1,700+ flight tests." Meanwhile, SkyGrid is touted in the press release for its air-traffic management solution and its foundational potential for the future of automated airspace, and Insitu's pioneering role in the design and manufacturing of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) is touted.
Archer is acquiring these units from Boeing in an all-stock deal. With the completion of the purchases, Boeing will receive newly created Archer stock that will give it a 16.5% stake in the company. In addition, Boeing will receive warrants that grant it the right to purchase up to $200 million in additional stock. With the Archer issuing so much new stock in order to fund the acquisitions, that means that there will be a substantially dilutive impact for current shareholders. On the other hand, it could wind up being well worth it.
While heavy dilution means that shareholders will see the percentage-based size of their stake in Archer reduced, having Boeing as a large stakeholder and active partner comes with a wide range of potential benefits. As part of the deal, the two companies will enter into a technology-sharing agreement. Boeing will also retain access to Wisk's autonomous flight software for defense and commercial projects, which has positive aspects for Archer because it should support the continued integration and evolution of the tech.
Archer is rapidly diversifying
Since going public in 2021 through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), Archer's growth story has primarily centered around the development, testing phases, and timeline for the commercial debut of its Midnight eVTOL aircraft. While Midnight is still important for Archer, the story surrounding the company and its stock has been changing rapidly through partnerships and acquisition moves.
As noted by Archer CEO Adam Goldstein in the press release announcing the purchases from Boeing, the acquisitions are "the next big step forward in becoming a diversified platform, rapidly growing our revenue base, and bringing scale" to the business. Insitu alone is generating over $200 million in annual revenue, operating in 35 different countries, and generating profits. With the acquisition of the business, Archer's sales profile will immediately get a substantial boost -- and its margin profile should see meaningful improvement.
The partnership with Boeing and integration of Insitu, SkyGrid, and Wisk should provide valuable infrastructure that has complementary impacts across the company's business. In addition to presenting growth opportunities in their own right and supporting the evolution of the Midnight eVTOL project, the units that will be integrated into Archer will likely also help support the hybrid VTOL Halo and Thunder crafts that it developed in conjunction with Anduril and its ZEE aviation AI software model.
Along with expanding its manufacturing partnership with Stellantis, Archer's diversification moves are better positioning the company for long-term viability. The company's chances of achieving profitability solely on the back of its Midnight eVTOL while having to handle scaling manufacturing to the point of even achieving positive gross margins always looked like a long shot, and relying more on partnerships and other avenues to growth in the aviation space is a smart move. Archer stock is still a high-risk play, but its bets on autonomous aerial technologies could pay off over the long term even if ramping for the commercial eVTOL market proceeds at a relatively slow pace.

Unfortunately for shareholders, the stock has lost significant altitude since that point.

Will Archer Aviation carry out a reverse stock split?
Companies typically carry out reverse stock splits when their share prices drop below the minimum threshold required to continue trading on either the Nasdaq or the New York Stock Exchange. If a stock trades below $1 per share for 30 consecutive days, it can be delisted from these exchanges. Delisting is almost always a negative valuation event, and companies will often opt for a reverse stock split to prevent it from taking place.
Even after some big valuation pullbacks, there is currently no immediate need for Archer Aviation to do a reverse stock split, as it is still well above the level required to continue trading on the New York Stock Exchange. While companies also sometimes opt to do a reverse split well in advance of potentially hitting the delisting danger zone because having a low pure-dollar share price can have psychological impacts, there's currently no reason to think that Archer will make this move.
Notably, the company's stock is poised for another major round of dilution, as it will issue new shares to Boeing in exchange for Boeing's Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid subsidiaries. The deal will give Boeing a 16.5% stake in Archer, and the aerospace and defense giant will have the opportunity to purchase an additional $200 million in shares through warrants. On the other hand, the market actually had a very positive reaction to this deal -- bidding up Archer stock even though the acquisition will result in heavy stock dilution.
Archer is still generating relatively little revenue and posting sizable losses, and it's likely the company will continue to rely on new stock sales to fund its operations. Devaluation through dilution and potential sell-offs in response to underwhelming business performance could push the company's share price significantly below current levels, but a reverse split appears unlikely right now. The stock traded as low as $1.62 per share in December 2022, and the company didn't do a reverse split then -- so it probably won't do one in the near future unless its share price collapses.

In addition to the bullish backdrop for the broader market, Acher's valuation got a big boost following news that the company had entered into a deal to purchase three subsidiaries from Boeing. Despite the big pop, Archer stock is still down roughly 24% year to date.

Archer stock surged on Boeing deal news
On Aug. 10, Archer Aviation published a press release announcing that it had entered into an agreement to purchase Boeing's Wisk Aero, SkyGrid, and Insitu subsidiaries.
Wisk is a longtime player in the eVTOL space and has logged more than 1,700 test flights.
SkyGrid provides air-traffic management solutions and develops autonomous flight technologies.
Insitu is a designer and manufacturer of drones and also provides related software and services.
In exchange for these three businesses, Boeing will receive a large stake in Archer. The deal will be facilitated with the creation of newly created stock, and Boeing will own a 16.5% stake in Archer following the completion of the transaction.
Notably, the press release states that Insitu is already profitable and generating roughly $200 million in annual sales -- so the integration of the unit should immediately have a big impact on Archer's sales profile and an accretive impact on margins.
What's next for Archer?
Archer stock has seen a modest pullback early in September's trading. The company's share price is down roughly 1.2% in the month amid some volatility for the broader market connected to concerns about inflation and the bond market.
With Archer using newly issued shares to fund its acquisitions from Boeing, investors are looking at a high level of stock dilution on the horizon. On the other hand, the deal still appears to be a promising development for long-term Archer shareholders. Boeing is a great partner to have in the aerospace and defense industry, and the deal creates opportunities along multiple lines.
Along with providing Archer with three new units that create sales and earnings opportunities, Wisk, SkyGrid, and Insitu will likely have meaningful synergies with the company's eVTOL and VTOL projects and autonomous aviation capabilities. The acquired businesses will also likely provide valuable data for the company's AI-powered ZEE foundation model for aviation, autonomous navigation, and related applications.
Archer is a volatile stock and could face outsized pressures if the market becomes more risk-averse in response to macroeconomic pressures, but the deal with Boeing has seemingly made the company stronger and given it more ways to grow.

Why Archer Aviation Skyrocketed 24.6% Last Month

Archer says it was the first eVTOL company to close Phase 3 of the FAA's type-certification process and is now in the final phase.

With shares down 61% from its 52-week high, it's a good time to look at Archer Aviation (NYSE:ACHR) stock. And here's an interesting angle: Its second-quarter revenue was $5 million, and none of it came from carrying passengers. Most of it came from fueling, ground handling, and leasing space at Hawthorne Airport in Los Angeles, which Archer operates. A year earlier, revenue was zero.
In other words, a market value of about $4.4 billion rests on an air taxi service that hasn't started.

My prediction: Midnight -- Archer's electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft -- carries its first paying passenger in the United States before 2028.

Certification is in its final phase
Archer describes the FAA's route to a type certificate as a four-phase process, and it says it's now in the last one. The company announced in May that it had become the first eVTOL maker to close Phase 3. Phase 4 is where compliance with the FAA's airworthiness requirements gets demonstrated through formal testing. It's the step that ends with a type certificate.
And in July, a piloted Midnight flew a round trip between Salinas Municipal Airport and Monterey Regional Airport, each leg taking about nine minutes -- the company's first intercity flights in California.
Archer was also selected as an air taxi partner in three winning applications covering eight states under the White House's eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).
"[W]e plan to begin flying in the Los Angeles area based out of Hawthorne Airport, and subsequently commence operations under the White House's eIPP later this year in Texas," CEO Adam Goldstein said in the company's second-quarter shareholder letter.
There's a hard date, too. Archer is the Official Air Taxi Provider of the LA28 Olympic Games in the summer of 2028, a role that would be hard to fill without passenger service running by then.
Can the money reach the date?
The bigger threat to the date is money. Archer's net loss was $263.2 million in the second quarter, up about 28% year over year and up from $217.7 million in the first quarter. Management guided to a third-quarter adjusted EBITDA loss of $170 million to $200 million, after a $177.1 million loss on that basis in the second quarter. (Adjusted EBITDA, the profit measure Archer guides on, excludes items such as stock-based compensation.) The losses are widening as flight testing, certification work, and production spending all ramp.
The balance sheet can absorb it for a while. Archer ended June with about $1.6 billion of cash and short-term investments, down about $215 million for the quarter. At that pace of cash use, the money covers about seven more quarters. That clock runs into 2028.
Of course, Archer also agreed in August to buy three subsidiaries from Boeing, paying in stock and warrants, with closing expected by year-end. Integration is rarely free, and more stock sales seem likely.
But I don't think the prediction hinges on raising more money -- the cash already on hand can carry Archer to a first paying flight.
The UAE could come first
Notably, the first fare may not be American. In May, the United Arab Emirates' aviation regulator moved Midnight into a Restricted Type Certificate program, a streamlined path that allows limited commercial operations there. Service is planned in Abu Dhabi, so Archer's first paying passenger anywhere could board overseas, possibly before the FAA finishes its work.
That's why the call is scoped to the United States. After all, a fare in Abu Dhabi would validate the aircraft. But the U.S. path runs through the FAA, and the home market is the one the investment case rests on.
The honest risk is the schedule. Archer said with its fourth-quarter report that it was targeting its first passenger-carrying flights in 2026, and a target is not a schedule -- Archer still has to fly the tests, and the FAA has to sign off.
But the call doesn't need 2026 to hold. Between management's late-2026 plans and the end of 2027 sits a year of slack.
So, will a paying passenger board a Midnight in the U.S. before 2028? I think so. Archer says it closed Phase 3 of the FAA's process before any other eVTOL company. The pilot program gives it somewhere to fly this year, and the balance sheet reaches the date without help.
The prediction and the stock are different bets, though. At about $4.4 billion, Archer is still valued on what the service could become, and the losses are widening while shareholders wait.
I'd want to see what a paying route earns before buying shares.

Prediction: Archer Aviation Carries Its First Paying U.S. Passenger Before 2028

Let's cut to the chase: If you have an appetite for risk, and you can stomach near-term volatility, Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR) at less than $6 a share might be your next best buy.
That's not because the company is safe, secure, or stable. Quite the contrary: This maker of eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft is burning through millions of dollars each quarter, generates no meaningful revenue, and still hasn't secured the FAA certification it needs to commercialize its air taxi operations in the United States.

That's the risk. Here's the opportunity.
Archer is no longer just developing an air taxi, Midnight, for city travel. It is also developing aircraft for defense and commercial purposes. Indeed, its recent push into these segments -- through the autonomous platform it has co-developed with Anduril -- could give it a source of revenue before paying passengers ever step into a fully certified Midnight vehicle.
In the same vein, a pending acquisition of Boeing's (NYSE: BA) Insitu would take this defense business even further. Insitu, essentially a drone business, already generates $200 million a year. That's roughly 29 times more than Archer's trailing-12-month revenue of about $7 million.
Insitu is great, but I'm even more interested in Wisk, another Boeing business that Archer plans to buy. Wisk has spent years developing autonomous eVTOLs, and Archer could eventually integrate that technology into the Midnight model. If Midnight were to earn authorization to fly as a fully autonomous vehicle, Archer's air taxi business would eliminate a major recurring expense: training and paying pilots.
Granted, many risks still surround Archer -- FAA type certification and manufacturing eVTOLs at scale, just to name two. But even though the risks are the same, the potential rewards are starting to look bigger. Today's price for Archer stock could look awfully cheap in retrospect if the company grows into the broader aerospace business it is now trying to become.

Should You Buy Archer Aviation Below $6?

Imagine a city free from rush-hour traffic -- not a city that literally doesn't have cars (like, say, Venice), but one that has aerial forms of transportation, like flying cars.
That picture in your head is something that could become real in the next decade. The term for it is "urban air mobility." It won't look like The Jetsons or Back to the Future II -- that is, present-day cars that can hover and propel. Rather, urban air mobility will give us electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, basically a combo of drone and helicopter. They will be quieter than helicopters, with a quick velocity that can reduce an hour of traffic to a 10-minute aerial hop.

The total addressable market of urban air mobility could become a trillion-dollar market, which opens an opportunity to invest in its start-ups. One of those start-ups is Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR) -- and it very much has the potential to set investors up for life.
Archer stock is still taxiing on the tarmac
Archer is one of the frontrunners in the eVTOL market. It is currently working on certifying its flagship aircraft, Midnight, which could potentially taxi passengers within urban hubs and to and from airports.
The bull case for Archer rests on its pushing Midnight successfully to the end of the FAA's regulatory timeline. The company has completed three of the necessary four phases -- it closed phase 3 in April 2026 -- and while it hasn't given a date for when it could hypothetically finish the fourth, it will likely take one to two years.
That said, Archer has been transforming its business profile, from an air taxi company to one with ambitions in defense and broader commercial aviation.
To that end, Archer has recently agreed to acquire three businesses from Boeing (NYSE: BA): Wisk, Insitu, and SkyGrid. Together, these three give Archer more exposure to autonomous eVTOL craft (Wisk), military drones (Insitu), and air traffic management (SkyGrid). Better still, one of these businesses, Insitu, is profitable, with over $200 million in annual revenue generated. For Archer, which brought in about $5 million last quarter, that additional $200 million could be significant to its growing costs.
Speaking of which, quarterly losses for Archer have been widening. That isn't surprising for a company that is spending heavily on certification and expansion, but it does raise the stakes for management's execution. It also raises the possibility that Archer will draw from equity financing, thereby diluting existing shareholders.
Plenty of blue sky ahead
The way to life-changing wealth for Archer investors is, doubtless, an FAA-certified Midnight. From there, Archer will have to scale production to make a fleet of air taxis, with enough aircraft to service major cities in the U.S. This will not happen overnight, and it could be many years before Archer is even generating revenue from its eVTOLs.
Archer is a speculative stock, which is a nice way of saying it lacks a strong business. It has dreams, plans, and big ideas, but no eVTOL or profits. By the same token, if it did have those latter two, the stock would not offer the same high-reward potential that it does today. That's a risk investors will have to accept if they want a shot at the upside.

Buying Archer Aviation Today Could Set You Up for Life

Confession: I've been wrong about Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR). Not totally wrong, but wrong enough to make me rethink the stock. In truth, I've been analyzing the stock too narrow-mindedly, with too much focus on its air taxi business and not enough on the other developments taking shape around it.
Two of those developments are in defense and autonomous technology. And I think they will make Archer one of the most formidable eVTOL businesses on the market.

Archer's latest move could reduce future costs by a quarter
By now, you probably know what Archer is, or what it's trying to build. It's a frontrunner in the nascent electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) industry. Long term, it wants to operate an air taxi service, a kind of Uber (NYSE: UBER) in the skies, a transportation network to taxi people through the air to vertiports in major cities.
The urban mobility market, which includes eVTOL services, is expected to grow into a multitrillion-dollar market over the next several decades. That has also been one of the primary reasons to invest in companies like Archer, whose $4 billion-ish market cap could grow exponentially if this industry attracts the heavy demand expected of it.
Air taxi services will always be Archer's crown jewel, and the company has shown zero interest in backing away from that market. But since it can't actually operate an air taxi business yet, because FAA-type certification is stilling pending, the need for revenue has led it to make some surprising moves, one of which I'll talk about here.
That move was its recent decision to take three businesses from Boeing (NYSE: BA) in exchange for 19.75% of Archer's pre-close share count, plus two warrants for $100 million of stock apiece. All three cross into Archer's business in some way: Wisk designs eVTOLs, SkyGrid's software manages air traffic, and Insitu builds drones. But Insitu seems like the real prize right now. Let me put it this way: It is a profitable business that is generating $200 million in annual revenue. And for Archer -- whose second-quarter revenue was about $5 million -- any profit could stop a multimillion-dollar cash-burning hole that has seemed impossible to fill.
Insitu's revenue can help cash flow Archer's business in the short term. But, to return to my prediction, the purchase that could make Archer's business thrive isn't Insitu but Wisk.
Like Archer, Wisk is building eVTOLs. Unlike Archer's eVTOL Midnight, however, Wisk's aircraft is being developed for autonomous -- that is, pilotless -- flight. Obviously, that raises the bar on safety and regulation, which is already high because of the novelty of eVTOLs, but if autonomous technology can be relied upon, it would eliminate one of the most expensive portions of an air taxi flight: paying the pilot.
Indeed, one academic study of eVTOLs, published in 2024, estimated that autonomous operations could cut operating costs by about 27% compared with piloted flights. Granted, that's just an estimate, and Archer's real-world economics could differ significantly, but the point is clear: Pilotless flights could improve Archer's bottom line, perhaps by a significant amount.
Archer, I predict, is aiming for pilotless eVTOL flights, and if it succeeds, it will become one of the most efficient, profitable, and advantaged eVTOL businesses out there. That future, of course, still hinges on FAA certification, but if Archer gets there, today's investors would be getting in before that advantage is recognized.
